Lots of great local beers on tap. Like the coziness of this place. Just wish there was a little bit more seating.

We also got dessert to celebrate 2 birthdays and an anniversary. Dinner for 4 was a little over $200 - although 2 of us did not drink. Cocktails here are from $14 and up. The famous bartender who does "7 deadly sins" does not work on Sunday nights. A great special occaision spot.

The service was somewhat slow, but the waitress was very nice. Their beer was in cans or bottles. I ordered a Head Hunter IPA and it had a date code from the summer, so their stock was a bit old. I split a bowl of crab bisque $15 with my son. It was ok on spices/flavor and had small strips of crab, but the body was on the thinner side and I didn't think it was creamy enough. A miss, plus the guy who brought it out must have had the soup shift on the walk over so he had his thumb on top of the spillage that went onto the rim. I should have sent it back, but we were hungry. The small cornbread muffins that we had before our meals came out were tasty. After discussing the lunch menu with the waitress she said the Yardley Burger was very popular. $19 - roasted tomato, boursin cheese, hand cut fries. My son ordered the chicken cutlet - $18 fresh mozzarella, vodka aioli and chips. He skipped the sauteed spinach that was supposed to come on it. They took awhile to come out. The burger had a ridiculous amount of boursin on it (plenty of herbs and garlic coming off it), the meat was bland and the hand cut fries were a tad soggy. Even the bun was weak, so for $19 they can keep it. My sons sandwich was much better. The vodka aioli flavor was a home run with the thick cutlets. Still not worth $18, but much better than the burger. I had a Yards Washington Porter with my burger that slightly helped my disappointment. This place only gets the 4th star because I love history and the building has it. It was just OK other than that. Maybe a dinner/date night is in order to see what these higher yelp reviews are all about. Their entree prices seem much more in line. For lunch, I'm a no.

They do have seating downstairs but it was full when we got there. Our waitress came quickly(wish I remembered her name) and welcomed us. We told her we were in no rush and wanted to take our time. The drink and wine menu was very nice. All 3 of them of them had wine and I had an old fashioned. It was very good. We ordered the wings and nachos. Both were good but the nachos would have been good with some queso on them. They were a little dry. I special which was the prime rib sandwich and it was very good. Fries were good. My wife and friend both had burgers and said they were delicious. My other friend had the salad and said it was good. The restaurant is in an old building that is really cool. It was very clean. After dinner we sat in the bar area to have some drinks and listen to the band. Service was great. This place gets packed on Saturdays. Get there early to get your seats.

I have no clue why the heaters weren't on, it was 59 degrees out when we left early because it was just too cold. Cuban sandwich was very good. I really liked the bread and the fries are my favorite. The service was a bit strange. We stood at the hostess stand with no one saying anything to anyone until I let her know we would just sit outside. We didn't ask for anything special or extra and the waiter returned to our table enough that it became somewhat uncomfortable like he wanted us to go, which we did.

I'm not sure why they call this restaurant Flying Pig. It's not as if they have a lot of BBQ items…read moreon the menu. They do have pulled pork and BBQ ribs along with bacon on everything. I haven't been to this site since it was Dublin Square which was a long time ago. Some of the layout changed. They no longer have the old bar separated from the dining area. Callie was our server and did a great job. I was there with some friends from SC. We started by ordering the large pretzel which comes out on a pretzel hanger along with some beer cheese for dipping. They also use that hanger for bacon. The pretzel was enough for 4 of us. I ordered the wings and selected Nashville Hot and Hog Sauce as my flavors. They claim they sell by the pound ($15.50) but it ends up being 8 wings. If you want to split flavors, they make it dry and bring the sauce on the side for dipping. Luckily the Nashville Hot is a dry rub. It was very good and not too spicy. The Hog Sauce is a combo of Buffalo and Garlic which was excellent. The wings themselves were plump, juicy and crispy. Five stars. Plenty of parking. Some tables available outside for outdoor seating when it ever gets nice in NJ. Bathrooms were very clean. You may find some little pink pigs around. Not sure if they're complimentary, but my wife took the one that was next to our table. My only complaint is they have too many of their draft beers designated for only 10 oz pours even with low ABV. I had a Kane Head High which was in a 16 oz glass. They also use OpenTable for reservations which I used as well.
