    Lobster risotto special

We had a wonderful dinner at The Blue Be Inn for our anniversary. I had been there for lunch, but never dinner, and had no idea they had a large, quiet dining area upstairs. We had cocktails and wine, appetizers, entrees, and dessert and everything was excellent. The food feels modern without being overly fussy, but they still have some more traditional options (think meat and potatoes) as well. The service we had was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing, food came out quickly but we didn't feel rushed. Water glasses were filled regularly and we didn't feel like we ever had to search for someone if we needed something. We will definitely be back! One heads up, there is not nearly enough parking if you are there during a busy time. Expect to use complimentary valet. Service: 5 Food: 5 Ambiance: 4.5 Value: 4

With almost 300 years of history, the Blue Bell Inn has a charm that stands out, and the original dining room had a festive feel. The menu is impressive, and the bar looks like a fun, welcoming spot. I'll definitely return. The lobster roll was delicious, and I regret not finishing your fries lol. The chocolate cake was a highlight, and the café latte was exceptional. The overall ambiance, from the décor to the service, made the visit feel thoughtfully put together perfect for special celebrations in the day (as ours was) or a decadent night out. Shout out to Jacob the Valet! Thank you!

We came here for our 29th wedding anniversary dinner. Our drinks were strong, so we started off right! I started with the stuffed artichoke, which was ok. Nothing to write home about. Stuffing was good. Artichoke didn't have much flavor. It needed some kind of seasoning or something. My husband had the sausage special even thought he's not a huge fan of chicken sausage (one of the offerings in the special). He loved it! He said they were delicious. He had the New York Strip steak which was done to perfection! He loved the topping and the mashed potatoes and green beans. He doesn't normally say much about his food, but he was raving about everything. I had the duck. I was a little disappointed. The sauce was orange and looked delicious but had not flavor. The duck was NOT crispy at all. The best part was the vegetables. They were amazing! Our waiter and all the staff were very attentive. I never felt neglected. The only thing he did forget was to tell us the dinner specials. He gave us the appetizer specials, but I heard another waitress giving dinner specials. Not sure it would have made any difference. The atmosphere is nice and it felt romantic sitting in a corner booth. They even came out with a beautiful bowl of ice cream for our anniversary! We'll definitely be back there for drinks and for a special dinner. I'll try the salmon next time.

Dined on two recent occasions. The bar has a warm and welcoming vibe. Enjoyed Burgers and Brews. It's outstanding. Both burger offerings are amazing. High quality beef, cooked to perfection on a delicious roll. The fries are generous. Ordered a delicious rich chocolaty porter. The bartender is friendly and accommodating. The special runs through spring, but hoping it will be extended.

Soup of the day: with chopped chicken, potatoes, peppers. Rich, but not too creamy. Warm and filling

Exquisite decor, with outdoor and indoor seating. We were seated upstairs which had a rich array of wines on display. Got the soup of the day and crab cake sandwich. Service was OK, nothing special, nothing to complain about. Pricey place, good for a date or company lunch

This was my first time here, as my "Aunt" invited us for lunch. They can accommodate any size group. This place has many rooms and seating in each. There's a bar as well as outdoor seating with heaters. The menu was a large variety and very well prepared. I had the Philadelphia plate which came with chicken salad and fried oysters. Everything was delish. The homemade raspberry sorbet was good and can be shared. The ambiance was lovely and classy and the service was excellent. This is definitely going to be a go to for my friends in the future. Prices were nice as well.

My wife and I came for Sunday brunch. We made a reservation for 10:00 when they opened. We were seated immediately. The interior in the bar area was very nice with a warm and welcoming vibe. There were large open doors that led to a beautiful outdoor area and was perfect for the comfortable weather that morning. The food was excellent, the coffee was hot and good, and the mimosas were crisp and delicious! I ordered the chef's special omelette and a side of sage sausage. My wife ordered the breakfast flatbread. We also ordered the pastry basket. We took leftovers home. We will definitely return for brunch again or for dinner. Highly recommended!

It's a solid option for dinner or brunch in the area that is similar to the William Penn Inn but a bit more low key, with outdoor seating and a large central bar. The food is okay - it's solid but a bit on the greasy side and the kitchen seemed a bit understaffed as it took a while to get our dishes and there were a few mistakes. That aside, the seating is pretty comfortable and it's close and convenient. 3 stars for the food, 4 for the ambiance, and 3 for the service. I will round to 4 only for the convenience factor.

What really makes it unique is the fact that you can place your food order and then go grab a craft brew in a plastic cup and then walk back to get your food. Or, if you prefer to bring your food to the bar area, you can do that too. We had a hankering for burgers and wanted to give Lucky's a try. I'm glad we did and it was an enjoyable experience. We ordered a share basket of fries which were perfectly cooked crinkle fries. They had ketchup available as well. We each got a burger, one classic and one Oklahoma style which had two patties. The classic had more of a Kaiser roll whereas the Oklahoma had a potato bun. The meat was fresh, not frozen and cooked nicely on a flat top. The onions on the Oklahoma were sliced incredibly thin but for some reason were not soft enough to bite through (my only disappointment). It's easy to find as the doorway is right down from Rita's on Ridge Avenue. Give it a try!

Since they are not open for lunch during the week I made sure to stop in on a Saturday in November to grab a burger. Normally I'm a burger purist but on this trip I decided to go with their Oklahoma Onion Butter Burger and a side of fries. I paid via credit card when I ordered.(they were not accepting cash). After about 10mins or so my order was ready. The burger has (2) patties and onions. Flavor was on point but the overall size of the burger was small for me. I could have easily eaten two of them. The side order of crinkle cut fries was equally small and they were just warm. Overall the meal was good and I would eat here again. However if I'm craving a top notch burger I will probably choose one of the other options in the area.

This is the best beef sandwich I have had in decades. Simple quality at its finest! This has quickly become my gold standard classic beef sandwich. The "Matt Fries", were interesting and completely unique: fresh crispy fries topped with generous black pepper, old bay seasoning, Parmesan cheese and Turkey gravy. It worked! We enjoyed them and the large portion was more than enough for 2-3 people. Steph Rush very much enjoyed the mussels in red sauce -- another generous portion, served with was bread. I had an order of the cold shrimp , which is weekends only. Fresh, cooked perfectly and extra horseradish in the cocktail sauce by request. We were overjoyed with what we ordered and I love they have birch beer on tap, my favorite! The joint was packed and busy, our waitress had her hands full in her section. Worth the visit whether you are local or just passing through Conshee. My group of seven decided to try Bar Sera for a Saturday night dinner and we were not disappointed. Known for their Detroit style pizza, it was immediately a good sign when we arrived and saw a steady line of people ordering pies to go. The staff had us seated relatively quickly and took our orders promptly, setting a great tone for the night. To really experience the menu, we skipped the family style prix fixe and built our own spread of small plates and pizzas to share. That decision paid off. The arancini bites were a hit, and the calamari stood out for its unique preparation. Gochujang honey calamari was a first for all of us and it absolutely worked. The pizza is where Sera truly shines. We were blown away by the Elm Street, a deceptively simple pie with tomato sauce, Wisconsin brick cheese and pesto that delivered big flavor. The Ash Street went in the opposite direction with complexity and boldness, featuring BBQ pulled pork, jalapeño pesto, cilantro, scallions and brick cheese. Having been to Detroit and sampled true Detroit style pizza, this felt like a genuine and well executed homage. The cocktail program deserves just as much praise. Drinks like the Nightmare on Elm Street with brown butter washed bourbon, brandy, lemon, apple sage honey, almond bitters, cranberry bitters and egg white, and the Lone Ranger with fig reposado, black pepper, Grand Marnier, lemon, brown sugar and Turkish tobacco bitters wowed the table with unique and bold flavors. Overall, Bar Sera is a fantastic neighborhood spot that punches well above its weight. Great food, inventive drinks and a lively atmosphere make it well worth a visit when you are in Conshee.

But then when I was looking up their burger week menu I came across the valentines menu and it looked good, so I figured I would give it try. My husband's dinner was alot better than mine so I was eating some of his, even though we always share anyway. He got the oysters with a dragonfruit sauce and they were good. I ordered crab and corn soup with grilled focaccia bread. The soup itself was fine , but it was only half a bowl and not much crab in it. I would have liked more soup instead of the bread. I gave the bread to my husband because we got a good amount of bread for the appetizer and I didn't want to fill up too much. I probably should have ordered the calamari instead , that looked pretty good. My husband's scallops with risotto was very good. Seared perfectly, creamy risotto, good flavor. Normally that is what I like to order, but I got the crab pasta because I love crab. I was disappointed In this dish. The crab tasted a little too fishy like it went bad or something. I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year.
