Walked in and seated immediately and then when they brought me the menu I was very unhappy. The mushroom soup was gone and the tuna Tatar was missing. The server advised that the soup was an oversight but the tuna was off the new menu. Went with the Salmon which turned out great. The mushroom soup was the bomb as I remember. Awesome news is the pub now has a great beer list on tap. They had a Baby Bob stout which was awesome. Great food and service and now they have a stout so perfect. The pub has a great bar area and lots of seating in the rear. Since I am by myself usually I set at a high top in the bar area. read more

Loved this little pub! Ambiance, decor was warm and inviting. Beer was great. We had the DelCo lager and a raspberry sour beer which was delicious. Kennett Square mushroom soup was among the best we've had. Wedge salad was terrific, as were the wings - we tried the hottest, which were a teriyaki fire variety. After a concert at Longwood Gardens, this was one of the few places still open on the area. We took seats in the back on a Thursday night, and it offered the perfect amount of background noise and privacy. Service was attentive, drinks were really good, and many of the food options were too. I have a "Grow a Pear/Pair," which was perfect! Kettle chips were house made s and great. Trifle fries and soft pretzel were decent. Lobster bisque is NOT recommended. Burgers, filet, mashed potatoes were pretty good as well. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely recommend. read more

Came here after visiting WCU for a tour. This place is great!! Backyard burger was fantastic, cooked to perfection, alongside some super crunchy kettle chips. I never finish full burgers, but I cleaned my plate. The service was great, and our waitress Olivia brought us waters without us having to ask after our paloma's were finished. I wish there was an option to give four and a half stars, because that's how I would rate Two Stones. That said, everything was very good, the service was friendly and very competent and it is a nice, casual, family-oriented place. I was disappointed to find that the mushroom soup that so many Yelp reviews have raved about is no longer on the menu. The beer (Up and Out IPA) was excellent. My wife's Gorgonzola BLT salad was very nice and my grilled chicken was good, but the chicken portion was a little on the small side. We had the bread pudding for dessert and it was both delicious and large enough to share between two people. Our server, Allie, was great - very attentive, outgoing and enthusiastic. It's a nice place, the food is good (and there are lots of great sounding choices), the beer is great and it's staffed with nice people. Definitely recommended! read more

This is a dark bar in a strip mall. Food was ok, but I was super frustrated that they wouldn't let me order a side salad with wings. How dumb is that! The management apparently will only allow side salads to be served with burgers & tacos. That meant I couldn't get soup & salad or wings & a salad unless I wanted a full meal sized salad which was just too much. I ended up getting a sandwich but it wasn't what I really wanted. I guess here it's all about salad rules & not customer service. On principle, we won't be returning. read more

This was a great place for dinner! The atmosphere is very welcoming and still has the old Irish pub aesthetic but in a much cleaner iteration. The service is what really stood out at this place. The bartender last night was extremely friendly, periodically doing light, appropriate upsells, and made sure you always had something. She was wonderful! The food was delicious. I had a bowl of the chili which she warned me was very light compared to "normal". It was fantastic! The warning definitely help them prepare for something different, and I loved the result. The meatloaf came in a very unexpected presentation. But it was some of the best meatloaf I've ever had. The combination of flavors and textures work out perfectly to make this a great meal. First time visit to Two Stones Pub. I decided to visit after I saw a post in a local news paper about their Peebee & Jay Burger. Yes, this burger has pork belly, peanut butter, and strawberry jam. I can definitely see the potential. The peanut butter and jelly was not overdone, but I would have loved just a tad bit more just to get the full taste. The burger is usally served with kettle chips, but I upgraded the fries. The upgraded portion for a to go order was not worth the up charge. They do have dessert although it is not listed on their website. The bread and butter pudding is phenomenal. I would go back just for this dessert. read more

Came here for cinco de mayo because the place around the corner was packed, but I was not disappointed. I'm glad we stumbled on this place, because we will be back. When you go, ask for MATT (I think that was his name). He made the experience even better, between recommending and just good conversation. The food was delicious, so many different things to try, I probably ordered too much food. Everything was cooked really well and there was no salt bombs. Stopped in for dinner with our daughter. Service was great. The apps were amazing! One was a crab ball sort of thing and the other a pierogi. Service was great / glad they had Aperol for a spritz! Regulars. Love Taco Tuesday. Always ask for water and soda to be put into a glad instead of plastic, here and everywhere, and it's never been a problem until now. Our very nice server asked the female bartender in the green shorts on Tuesday 1/7 for a glass and she refused. Being purposefully inhospitable and hostile for no reason is bad business. Stopped in on a whim today and had a great meal with my family. The harvest flatbread was absolutely perfect, sweet and flavorful with a thin and crispy crust. Our steak and eggs were also very flavorful, not too salty and I loved the marrow butter! It wasn't too heavy at all either which can happen when you cover a steak in a fatty sauce. The meal also comes with "stone fries" which are really just crispy breakfast potatoes - really good! I was also very happy with the kids menu! Loved that they had a choice of proteins and then 2 sides. My kid devoured it, the most I've ever seen him eat at any restaurant. The only negative is that our meals came out super slow. The food was really quite good- we all shared an order of perogies that were delicious! I got a burger my go to - perfectly done as usual. My husband and our friend got the special ham melt . Heck of a place to come while doing Keto diet. But that's my bad. I didn't get to have any delicious beer but my wife enjoyed two different IPA's that were unique and true to their style. I got the chicken wings, extra hot. My daughter and wife split the burger and brussle sprouts. The burger was cooked to order and very tasty but the star of the show was the brussle sprouts. Came into town for longwood gardens and the Harry Potter exhibit at the Franklin Institute and stopped in for lunch in between. We found this place on Yelp after visiting the Brandywine River Museum. It is only ten minutes away and made for the perfect end to our visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of beer, daily specials and their regular menu. They serve higher quality pub fair and some local favorites like mushroom soup. The burgers were excellent and so were the chips. They ate kid friendly and there is plenty of parking. I would like to see a few more vegetarian choices in the menu, but thoroughly enjoyed what I had. We will be going here again. read more

We came here after Longwood because it was about one mile away. Everything we had was excellent! No one had beer because we had to drive. We ordered brussel sprouts, the Pierogies, and the cheese board. All were delicious, although the brussel sprouts were the table favorite! For dinner, we had salads, the pork ribeye, the meatloaf (which looked awesome!), and the scallops. I would highly recommend to anyone nearby for dinner. Good portions and reasonable prices read more
