We came here after Longwood because it was about one mile away. Everything we had was excellent! No one had beer because we had to drive. We ordered brussel sprouts, the Pierogies, and the cheese board. All were delicious, although the brussel sprouts were the table favorite! For dinner, we had salads, the pork ribeye, the meatloaf (which looked awesome!), and the scallops. I would highly recommend to anyone nearby for dinner. Good portions and reasonable prices read more

I stop in here just for the Brussel Sprouts- they are that good! They also have good fries, great wings, a good beer selection, pirogies, and a very interesting cauliflower and hummus flat bread that I will definitely be ordering again. Overall it's probably my favorite place in Kennett. Pub atmosphere, great food, friendly service. read more

The fish and chips were very disappointing. WAY too many fries and the fish was hard to find in the thick, over-breaded, over-fried coating. One positive was that the food was hot... The pulled pork brioche was fine. Service was good. read more

I picked this little strip center pub outta thin air and gave it a go after a visit to Longwood Gardens, only a half mile down Route 1 (that's "south" on Rt 1 for you directionally impaired travelers). A definite friendly, pub atmosphere, complete with solos sitting at the bar looking and obsessed at that mini screen they carry around with them while sipping a home-grown Two Stones beer (2SP) with a side of wings, or other happy hour groups, couples, old people, etc. A wonderful mix of civilization. I started off with the Mushroom soup. The excellent bartender swore that it would live up to Kennett Square mushroom standards, and it exceeded. The rich, chock full of mushrooms, creamy delight will be a regular order for me every time I am in the area. I might have to also bring some home. There was a salmon burger special on a brioche bun. Some bites were a tad fishy, some pleasantly fresher than the others. The homemade kettle chips on the side were to die for. I had a Two Stones IPA, I forget the pithy name that came attached to it, oh, "Up and Out", a hazy IPA. Not bad at all. Overall, close to a 4 star experience, but it's xmas, I'll round up! read more

My hubby and I had a great lunch at Two Stones yesterday. We had planned to go to the Chaddsford Tavern but discovered that they were closed for renovations. I was pretty sad about that, but once we arrived at Two Stones, I was sad no longer. We had the fries with a nice onion gravy, pork belly and cheese for an appetizer - I adored them, but my husband didn't really like the gravy. He had the classic burger with a salad and I chose the hot dogs with chorizo chili and pickled onions. Both of our meals were cooked perfectly and delish. There was a nice comfortable vibe in the place. I would love to go back someday if we are out that way. read more

I stopped by here with my boyfriends family after visiting Longwood Gardens (you should def go there). Inside it was set up like your typical chain restaurant (although I don't know if it actually is a chain or not). Something to keep in mind is that it didn't seem like there were a lot of booths/tables big enough for groups larger than 5/6. Anyway, the service was great! Our waitress was very kind and prompt. I ordered the turkey burger with fries and it was a huge amount of food. Also, the turkey burger was very juicy and had good flavors. Everyone else at the table was also very pleased with their meal. So that makes 5 happy people! Overall, I think it's a place with good food, good service, reasonable prices, and definitely a spot I might come to more frequently if I lived in the area. read more

Had the most dehumanizing experience here today! My mom and I are seated and approached by our waitress, Shannon (?). She orders a glass of wine, and I inquire about the beers on tap. I ask Shannon "do you have a draft list, for beers on tap?" and she just ... stands there and stares at me. I look a lot younger than my age (25) and I usually get some kind of reaction when ordering alcohol, except it's usually "can I see ID?" or something along those lines. Nope. Shannon just stares at me, saying NOTHING. After a couple seconds of awkward silence, I inquire again, explaing myself more thoroughly in case she misheard or doesn't understand. "Like a separate menu? Of draft beers?" And AGAIN, Shannon just stares at me!! 10 more awkward second of silence go by and i'm dumbfounded at this point. Why is our waitress just staring at me? "... do you have Yeungling on draft?? Anything?" At this point she's making me feel like i'm speaking a different language. This girl... PUTS HER HANDS ON HER HIPS. And goes ".... who's asking??" UMM. ME? THE CUSTOMER? I have NEVER been treated this disrespectful by wait staff. I understand that I look younger, but dude, i'm with my MOTHER. A simple "could I just check your ID first?" would have MORE THAN sufficed. This woman put her hands on her hips as if to... scold me? And then go "uhhh who's asking?" ???? I haven't stopped thinking about this interaction all day and the rest of my visit at Two Stones was very uncomfortable! I hope management sees this. read more

This is a good choice for families with kids who appreciate kiddie comfort foods and for adults who wish to relax with a nice selection of brews. For the rest of us, the menu features a variety of typical pub food like burgers, (flavorless) meatloaf, and truffle fries (the latter was a hit!), along with a few attempts at standing out like the banh mi Vietnamese style sandwich (dry and flavorless, without a hint of Viet inspiration) or the special Jambalaya, which was sold out on our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, staff friendly and earnest, but with mostly so-so food matched with prices that messed with our expectations, this is one of those restaurants I wouldn't put back in my list. read more

Local brewpub in a shopping plaza. I had mushroom soup and flat iron steak. The soup was amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone. The flat iron steak was very tasty. It was cooked perfectly. The butter that came with it was yummy. It also had asparagas, tomatoes and mushrooms. All were awesome. It had a side of parmesian dusted french fries. At least I think it was parm. Now, why only 3 stars. The steak too forever to come out. I actually considered canceling it. The steak, at a premium meal price of 27$ for flat iron steak, came with a side of fries. Fries are a side that comes with a 7$ sandwich at many places. You can get them as a side at Burger King. I would have liked to see a baked potato or some nice homemade mac and cheese or something rather than a cheap french fries. They were unable to serve me their own 2stones brewed pilsner. I forget the reason why. But they brew it. It should always be available. Bonus*** the waitress offered me a very good substitute. Finally. They do not have military discount. She gave me some line about only on veterans day or something. As a active duty military guy, I am hungry everyday not just on Veterans day. 10 percent off of an overpriced steak 6$ steak with a side of medocre french fries surely wouldn't have broken them. Especially considering they are not near a military base. I do recommend the food I ate. I wasn't happy with the speed of service, corner cutting side dish nor the lack of gratitude for service members sacrifice. read more

We come here often to get there chicken sandwich. The avocado secret sauce is delicious on the bun. You can substitute kettle chips for sweet potato fries, which are awesome. A little pricey, but the food is good. read more

Excellent mushroom soup, very thick and creamy & loaded with shrooms. I'd go as far as to say it's worth going there just for their mushroom soup. They also have unique tavern burger options like the one with fig jam & foie gras (goose liver pâté) and another with PB&J. It's a pub but they really know how to cook a fine salmon, crispy salty on the top and tender inside...and so far I've only gotten it served fresh, no fishy-ness. That's huge because so many restaurants serve it after it just starts to turn. So wrong. Only suggestion would be to offer a couple more salads, I get it's a pub not a bistro, but Romain lettuce gets a bit old when u frequent the place somewhat regularly. Service has always been excellent. And the bar has a great a nice pub feel to it. The bartender is fast, very nice and good at her job! read more

I ordered a 9 oz pour and was at first given no explanation for the delivery of a 6 oz pour of wine by someone other than our server. The explanation from our server was that she was told that it was the end of the bottle. Later I was charged for the 9 oz pour, which was $5 more. The cash register was down so we were told we could pay an estimated total in cash or they could write down our credit card number and run the card once their cash register was back up, since they didn't know what the tax would be. The manager did not want to do the math. The server did the best they could but was overextended with tables from outside in front all the way to the back of the restaurant. read more

Food was below average. Chef salad was bad. Quesadilla fell apart. The spicy sauce on the side was probably the only good thing. Didn't get a chance to have drinks but that is what I would stick to- read more

Two Stones is a solid pub-style option. You can't go wrong with a burger, sandwich, or fried food. I tend to avoid the salads here--they're acceptable, but just not what they do best. The service has always been good here, and they have an extensive beer menu. read more

Stopped by again impromptu dinner. Meatloaf a little too salty this time. Brussels appetizer was good. Sweet potato fries also pretty good.

This place is worthwhile. There are numerous locations throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania, this review is based on multiple visits to Kennett Square location. Liquor drinks are innovative and craft beer selection is terrific. They use local produce and offer seasonal features. I tried the General Tso's Cauliflower and highly recommend this flavorful dish. Vegetarians and carnivores alike should find something on the menu. Service is consistently good. Kids menu is offered and our family feels welcome. read more

I'm re-writing a review I posted last week.. I was upset last week about a decision from corporate regarding discontinuing Winesday Wednesday. This decision had NOTHING to do with the crew or food at Kennett Square 2SP. I can NOT say enough great things about the food, staff and family like setting of KSQ 2SP. I blame the sour taste to corporate. I still will be a regular at Kennett 2SP on Taco Tuesday and even on Wednesday paying full price for my wine. Hopefully this clears up my review...I recommend 2SP KSQ HIGHLY. BEST Burger...BEST Wings read more

We have been going here literally since they opened (our daughter worked there). They remain top notch at craft brews on tap choices. And their food options are gourmet and eclectic with some locally sourced. If you like mushroom soup, the one made here will ruin you for anything else. Today we also enjoyed the Dirty Kettle Chips. Don't pass up a chance to partake in this fine eatery and craft beer pub! You won't be disappointed! read more

I have never had such a bad experience at an establishment before. Our waitress hardly checked on us but that was besides the point. It was the manager who was so unbelievably rude, I was embarrassed. I use to love it here but now you could not pay me to go back to this location. we spent at least $150 that night too. read more

August 2019 update: stopped in on a Sunday evening with a party of five and we were quickly seated. Food selection is still great with a really interesting and varied menu. Our server Beth did a wonderful job and was very attentive of without being intrusive. I had the Chesapeake gnocchi, which was no key is crab meat and a jalapeno infused cheese as well as a scrapple scramble on top. I really liked it but it was a fairly small portion for 15 bucks. All of the others in our party enjoyed their meals. The bread pudding was especially good and was enough for about three people. Wish there was a restaurant like this closer to where I live but when I'm in the area I'll try to return. read more

We had tickets to Longwood Gardens and planned to stop to grab dinner before hand. Can I tell you OMG! Everything from appetizers to dessert was absolutely DELICIOUS. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We sat by the kitchen door, so every time food came out we asked and tried it. Lol The drinks were really good. We will absolutely return. I just have to say Two Stones Pub should go out of business. What a joke. My girlfriend ordered a burger and she got a live cow. Absolutely ridiculous. And no ketchup. What a joke. I came to Pennsylvania for the week and I knew I had to try Two Stones Pub! The bartender, Nick, immediately greeted me with a smile and made me one of the best drinks I've ever had (strawberry lemonade)! The entire staff was incredibly nice and my food came out fast. I tried the truffle fries and the Brussels sprouts. It was absolutely amazing! Next time I come here I'm definitely going to sample beer. Bartender made sure that she served every potential Caucasian patron at the bar while my son and I waited for pre-paid take-out for 10min, as she walked by several times. We have given this location more chances over the last few years and the service has greatly improved and it is a favorite for sure! Great food good service stopped in after trip to longwood gardens had the wings and mussels delicious meal

Fun beer bar with very good pub food. Good atmosphere for dinner. Great burgers and good variety.

Wings are a solid option here. I've been here a couple times and had the wings each time. Buffalo style come with little slices of jalapeño to add an extra kick so if you like spicy I suggest you give it a shot. The beer list is a little skimpy lately, featuring mostly two stones brews, but tasty and satisfactory for my non-professional beer pallet. My most recent visit was on Saturday late afternoon and it was good to see many of the tables filled with people. read more

Fish and chips were good but for the price they were expensive. Usually pay $14 for fish and chips and their price was $21.

Came here after Longwood Gardens and it was a great place for a big group! They were very accommodating for our group of 10+ and were very friendly :) I ordered the: +Kennett mushroom soup: amazing savory soup with deep flavor and great texture - not too thick or watery. It was about $8 and it wasn't huge, but it was on point! +Double stacked turkey burger w/ sweet potato fries: normally comes with chips and swapping for sweet potato fries is about a $2 difference. I am normally picky with my turkey burgers but this one was amazing! Usually they're pretty dry, but their turkey burger was juicy and delicious :) their sauce and preparation really elevated the turkey burger to another level (you can also request for a single patty if you don't want two). Love the burger and would definitely order again if I were ever in the area. Overall, great place for food and the waitress was very helpful (she even divided the check without us even asking which was a great help to us!). Even though the food took a while to come, we didn't mind because we knew they had a lot of orders to fill and the food itself (quality and quantity) made up for it! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to go after exploring Longwood Gardens :) read more

After a great day at Longwood Gardens, I was looking forward to our yearly meal at Two Stones Pub. To our surprise, with reduced capacity, we were seated immediately.
