If I could, I would give this place 6 stars. They had a vasty amount of beers on draft. They also had a lot of great food items to help the drinking settle down. I didn't realize how big this place was. You could definitely tell that everybody knew each other, but that didn't put a damper on us having equal amount of fun. We came here to watch a hockey game and we had a blast. read more

We have come here many times within the past few months for drinks with friends. We love the upstairs area and that they have games you can play as well. Their drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. They also have tvs on the walls with games on in the background as well as a bar upstairs and downstairs. We really enjoy the atmosphere and vibe here and would recommend! read more

Disappointing lunch experience. Beer was good. But the $18 falafel wrap came with three tiny falafel in it. One half of the wrap had no falafel. I pointed this out to the waiter and he just shrugged and went on to charge me an extra $1 for mayonnaise for my french fries. I definitely do not recommend the "lettuce and cucumber" wrap. read more

Early on but decent beer selection and good food. Beer Prices not bad... the tap selection is a bit more limited than I expected, but they do have a rounded selection that is it completely focused on IPAs. Also have a variety of cans and bottles. And I will say that the bartender seems to know the product list pretty well. Same can be said for the menu - a wide array. I've loved the Bierhaul in Thornton for a while so I was excited for the second location in West Chester. I have been a few times since they opened and every time has been great! You can't go wrong with the Peach Caprese or Mac and cheese. The sangria is the perfect summer drink and the Floral G&T is a beautiful classic! The space is super cool, and the staff is just as friendly as they are at the farmhouse location. I am so glad that they have opened up in town and I will certainly be a regular! read more

A place with so much beer, you'd expect more than 2 beers offered on special for happy hour. Also about 5/6 appetizers only offered for happy hour. Service is decent. Tried the Cheese Curds on happy hour special, they were delicious. Tried the Mainstay Independent Parks Pale Ale & the Haul Lager -- both were decent. Good food, not the very best. I enjoyed what I had (Mac & Cheese, boyfriend had a burger) but I would say that it was overpriced. The service was nice, but it seemed a bit disorganized. We loved the bar that used to occupy this space...so Bierhaul had big shoes to fill. And they did pretty well. Pretty well. Beer wise...they kept pace with The Split Rail. A very nice selection of high quality craft beers. I had no problem getting 3 primo beers...and I'm not that easy to please when it comes to beer. These were upper echelon micros. Food wise? The menu was decent enough, and the Pastrami Cheesesteak on a Pretzel Roll sounded absolutely decadent. Sadly, they had succumbed to the nasty trend of downsizing sammiches. I finally got to try it. My boyfriend and I came in for dinner and drinks on a Monday. Food was delicious, so were the drinks. We both work in the industry, and the industry night perk was awesome!! I highly recommend the bratwurst sandwich. Service was a bit slow, it took quite some time for our server to greet us and I usually don't get annoyed by service because I get it, but I felt irritated by it. Oh well. An average place all round. Interior doesn't seem to have changed since it was Split Rail. Beer list was uninspiring. Glass sizes change depending on the beer chosen with most 8 or 10 oz which I hate. My first beer was advertised as 16oz, but came as 8. In my book beer should always be served in pints by default with other sizes available on request. Subsequent beers were sized as advertised. Food was meh. Would go back, but it is not on my primary list of places to hangout in WC. read more
