My boyfriend and I needed to eat something before our Spooky adventures at Bates Motel, so after taking a quick glance at Yelp I found Duffer's and we were not disappointed. A cool sports bar, with tons of TV's, great tap list, and the food was excellent. The two ladies at the hostess stand and our server were super helpful with getting us in and out in time for our time slot at Bates. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Word needs to spread. This has to be the best place in Chester County for Sunday brunch. It has always been excellent but now with the new chef it's even better. This time I ordered one of the specials a breakfast skillet. Simply delicious! See picture. Oh yeh. They make the best Bloody Mary in PA as well. Treat your SO. Treat yourself. Do brunch at Duffers.

The service was on point but the food is awful. I ordered a cup of Manhattan clam chowder. It was very watery and not edible. My main dish was one of the specials, a crab cake melt. This was the ultimate fail. I sent both back and they took it off the bill. Nobody came to speak with me or ask me if i wanted something else. Never going back.

Great time at duffer's, I used to love the duffer's on route 1 that closed, so gave this one a shot. It is remodeled inside, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor seating was great! The food was also delicious. There is tons of room on the side patio and also a nice lawn my kids loved. Will definitely return here, all around great experience here!!

Stopped by duffers last night and had a great experience at this neighborhood bar. Food- for being known more as a bar than a restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. Started with a cup of Maryland crab soup which I would highly recommend plenty of meat. After that tried the sliders and boneless wings. Sliders were good a little over cooked but the boneless wings with bumble bee sauce were amazing. Big serving size and I've never had a boneless wing with that quality of chicken. Definitely don't seem frozen and are very tender. A must try. Ambiance- this place is cool. Upstairs has a dining area and a nice big bar with plenty of tvs. There are also booths around the bar to sit as well. Great staff and a very clean establishment. The is a downstairs bar as well with bar games!

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Perfect for meeting friends having a gathering we're just having dinner on a business trip. There's an above average beer offering as well as a full bar. I chose to have an old-fashioned with my meal. There's a large selection of shareable's and I chose the crab dip and it was nicely done. There's five or six flatbread pizzas to choose from a nice offering of salads as well as sandwiches, and four entrées, consisting of mac & cheese, fish and chips, muscles, pork cutlet. I always enjoy Reuben so I took their twist of a Reuben cheesesteak on a pretzel hoagie, which was nice and soft and a fun twist on a Reuben. If you're local, I think it's a great location to meet friends and have a beer after work if you're traveling like myself it's a great option versus the standard national brands.

Once we got up, they do not seat you. Seating and tables are first come first serve, including the bar. The upstairs bar where they do the sleigh bar is a lot smaller than it appears to be online, and you will do a lot of standing so be prepared. Plus, it can be pretty loud. Now onto the drinks: they're pretty good. The Sleepless in Suburbia is probably one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I also enjoyed the sleigh ride cocktail too. As far as their snacks go, they're alright. I understand not having a full food menu since the bar is pretty small, but $5 for a plate of popcorn is pretty crazy, not to mention that the popcorn itself was overly salty. The Cajun fries were pretty good though. The sleigh bar is starting to become a West Chester Christmas staple, and I cannot wait to come back next year!

Excitedly anticipated reservations at West Chester Seafood Kitchen and our stay out stood the expectations. Oh what fun it is to brunch!!! We arrived with 10:30am reservations, arrived and were promptly seated in the middle of the dining room. This place has so much space! The tables are proportioned about well and love the long bench seating opposed from the kitchen window. Decor is tidy and of modern aesthetic ocean vibes. Everything complemented, including the floor pattern - which I obsessed over, lol. Absolutely adored the built in and all the nautical knick knacks. Our waitress was a doll. Charming, attentive and spoke with great eye contact. We decided on eats and a mid morning cocktail. I had the standard espresso martini and my husband tried one of peanut butter variety. Both deep in espresso flavor and not too sweet. Oysters to start. A half dozen of 3 varieties. So wonderful to be able to select a few kinds to sample. We enjoyed them all. Very clean and super fresh. My husband loves horseradish, so it was so nice they offered their standard cocktail sauce with extra. The mini Tabasco sauce we had to take home as memento. Brunch entrees- my husband went part poultry and I kept true to seafood. He had first the Clam Chowder. Lumps of clam and a mid-cream broth. Nice balance of stock and cream. Potatoes did not overtake. This was light but hearty. He dove into those Chicken and Waffles with delight. A savory waffle - how can you not love. And the honey jalapeño butter, I found as much as I could to dip into. Chicken was most and crisp. Hitting all the texture and flavors- sweet, spicy, crunchy with this dish. Delicious. Now my Lobster Roll- LOBSTER!!!! This was incredible. I ate the whole damn thing. The roll was toasty and buttery. The lobster was juicy and plentiful, it was allowed to stand on its own. Didn't push up on too much mayo, or celery, or tarragon. Let the seafood shine - and it did!! The fries were hand cut, and freshly fried. Only critique was the slaw. It was just there. Would recommend to nix it. It didn't add to the dish. This Lobster Roll I will keep in my thoughts of how I am now tainted against all others. Wonderfully done. We cannot wait to venture down again and experience more of their menu. Ahoy!! Come here to eat! King of the Sea in the Dub C!
