Has a lot of potential. I visited for the first time Saturday March 21st. Has big indoor space and adjoining outdoor beer garden. Friendly staff. But, the band they had was deafeningly loud, I said something to a bartender and they agreed as they couldn't hear people's orders. I had a Bavarian pretzel which was slightly overcooked and wings in buffalo sauce. Wings were awesome and the carrots and celery were fresh but, The blue cheese dressing was absolutely the cheapest joke, it was more like watered down ranch dressing. Guys, step it up. You can't make awesome wings and serve the cheapest joke "blue cheese dressing" along with it. Like I said the place has potential. read more

3.5 stars Massive space! Good crowd with solo performer playing solid tunes on a dreary Father's Day. I wasn't terribly impressed with any of the beers in my wife's flight but enjoyed the beer I ordered. It was a canned offering and just dropped down in front of me unopened with a glass. You scan a code and open a tab yourself at most tables. The Bavarian pretzel was a game changer. Huge, prepared fresh with beer cheese and honey mustard. The special flatbread was a dud. Flavorless and zero BBQ sauce as advertised. I'd return to try some more beers and enjoy that pretzel. read more

Stopped in for food, and there was a band playing. The tables were full but we lucked out and found three open seats at the bar. We sampled a couple of their craft beers and local cabernet. For food, we started with the broccoli bites, simple fries and cheesesteak egg rolls. The egg rolls are were hot and crispy, and the ketchup is a little spicy but good. The Broccoli bites were tasty, but my all time favorite are the Simple fries - the sauce that comes with these is addictive. For dinner we ordered the Kennett burger, Cajun shrimp tacos and the Sweet Thai chili wings. The burger was delicious and so filling we had to take 1/2 of it home. The tacos were good and seasoned perfectly and the wings - loved them! The Sweet Thai Chili sauce is another favorite. They came out hot and I always make a mess but worth it. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and there was always someone checking on us to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed our food, the music, and loved the beer and wine selection. Met friends at their suggestion here for drinks & dinner on Saturday night over Memorial Day weekend. They have a private parking lot and then you can also find some street parking around the area. It is a very large place inside and it does get crowded, but we were able to snag a booth for four people even though it was busy. They have an ordering system through a QR code app. So you just go ahead and order on your phone and it is based on your table number, the app will ask you if you were still at that table so it is best to stick with being in one place so that your drinks and food will be delivered correctly. People come around and clear your dirty dishes and glasses. But it's nice because when it's crowded, you can just check out on the app whenever you're ready and pay by credit card and tip and be on your way. I had the Citradiculous IPA, because well, you had to try given the name! Next I tried their house made hard lemonade (I just wish it had been colder, or it would come with a glass of ice). My husband had a lager that he enjoyed. We both ordered the Kennett mushroom and Swiss burger, which was really delicious and their french fries were really outstanding as well. It gets very noisy in there because of the high ceiling, and they also had music on this night so it was really kinda hard to hear any conversation. definitely a place worth stopping if you need some dinner and you are a craft beer fan. Once again, Yelpers coming through with awesome recommendations! My +1 and I had a great dinner here on a warm summer evening. The music was a bit loud inside, so we sat outdoors, which was perfect. The space is good for adults but also friendly for kids and dogs. Personally, I love ordering/payment via QR code, which was super easy at the outdoor table. The staff was attentive and our food came out fast. My Kennett burger with mushrooms and onions was delicious. My +1 enjoyed his kid's chicken nuggets and French fries. BF and I grabbed lunch at Braeloch Brewing after a recent Saturday morning at Longwood. It's located near the Creamery in Kennett Square and has a decent amount of parking out front. There's a large tap room with ample, socially distanced seating, but they also have a large outdoor space with plenty of tables with umbrellas and an option to order through an app so you don't even have to step foot in the building if you don't want to. That being said, whoever chose the decor for the taproom has a great sense of humor, so it may be worth going inside to take it all in. The friendly bartender gave us a helpful run-through of the set-up and the beers, so we ordered our beers from him before heading outside to try out the app ordering service for our food. As far as beer goes, I really liked the Fuzzy Logic Hefeweizen which was light and perfect for a hot summer day. BF was less impressed with his beer, but says he is looking forward to trying more of their offerings. Food-wise, we got the crispy brussels sprouts with honey mustard and bacon which were very crispy, but not super flavorful. We also tried the garlic parmesan fries with truffle ketchup which were fine, and we got the the mushroom duxelles flatbread which was a bit underseasoned but good overall. My friend and I did a tour of multiple breweries and Braeloch was our last stop for the night. We are both craft beer fans and scored this place high. Braeloch has something for everyone. Obviously, they have tasty local brewed beer. They also have a good selection of local wines, cocktails, and non alcoholic drinks. I went in with a full stomach so I didn't try the food, but there were some tempting options so I look forward to the next visit. The atmosphere is great and can suit multiple different purposes. Its very large and with a lot of open space, so will definitely accommodate big groups. I also noticed a lot of couples out on dates and they seemed to be having a nice time. Its family friendly and I saw plenty of well behaved kids in roaming around. The owners seem to have a great sense of humor and there's a lot of meme type art hanging up all around. Great reads for when you're in the clean bathrooms. On top of all of that, live music! Braeloch was a great all around place, and I'd recommend it to just about anyone. read more

We stopped in here on a snowy Saturday afternoon for a quick beer (or two). Despite the weather, this place was packed. That being said, we were able to find two seats at the bar right away. There were a bunch of tables and other seating areas, so it'd be a good place for social distancing. My wife got the Brickhouse Lager (Watermelon). The watermelon taste was very faint, but present. Overall a good beer. I got the Stay Weird sour. This was amazing. Definitely gave you that pucker a sour should give and the fruity taste was also equally as powerful. This would be a perfect beer on a hot summer day. We both got the Stay Weird for our second round because it was so delicious. They have a food menu with typical bar food options plus a few less typical menu items. We didn't come here for food, but got a basket of plain fries. I'm not trying to sound dramatic, but these were some of the best fries I've ever had... it was totally unexpected but I'd come back here for the fries alone. They were perfectly crispy but also thick enough for the middle to be perfectly soft. It is truly amazing to me how many little breweries are popping up in towns all over the place. Braeloch is one of those that is a surprisingly cool find in the middle of otherwise pretty sedate Kennett Square. Braeloch reminded me of a brewery that was built for growth but has not yet achieved the popularity it was built for but very well may with some time. So first of all the space is surprisingly large. I don't know what it used to be but the brick walls and polished floors were really cool - a bit industrial but not overly so. There were a lot of cool features and a bunch of tables that were really huge. I liked the adult sized Connect Four and the big Jenga sets. The beer itself was good but we were disappointed that they wound up being out of several beers we wanted to try. I said I wanted a flight and then honestly had trouble finding four beers I wanted to try after I was told several of my choices were currently not available. There needs to be a better system for updating the menu board and keeping it up to date. If I had known I would have just gotten a regular pint. I wound up asking my husband to choose our fourth option because I literally couldn't find a fourth beer I wanted to try. What I had was good, though. Nothing hugely remarkable but definitely decent beer. The staff was friendly though I will say the girl behind the bar who helped us did not do so super speedily and seemed oblivious to the issue I was having with filling up my flight. It would have been nice if she'd offered me a way out - like pick three and we'll discount your flight or do you want to switch to a normal pint? But no such offer was made and I felt a little locked in. All in all a good stop. read more

To receive service you either go to the bar and order or seat yourself and use this third party website to order and pay. Atmosphere was a 4/5, beautiful inside but again no personal interaction with any staff beside busboys. Drinks were 4/5. I especially like the cream ale and the margarita brew. My bf enjoyed the Russian dark brew. Service speed was quick. As for food we tried the Mac and cheese and the garlic parm fries. We had big hopes but unfortunately let down 2/5 nothing special. If you know me, you know I LOVE craft beer! When I found this brewery in Kennett Square, I couldn't wait to go. It is housed in a large building filled with long tables, round tables, high top tables, chairs, couches and booths. Needless to say, the inside is not lacking in seating which is impressive as things are spread out for COVID. Braeloch also has a beer garden that is vast and spills out into the parking lot a bit to allow for even more seats and spacing. You can bring your pets if you like and I certainly will next time. My husband and I sat outside where you scan the QR code from the table, order and pay online. Very convenient. If you want, you can order at the bar, but this was better as it was beautiful and sunny outside. Although they don't take your order, there are friendly servers who deliver the food and drinks. This time I had the Sassy Saison Ale and I loved it. It had a slight citrus note, the right amount of haze and drank smoothly as the IBU (bitterness) was only 20. My husband had the Meddlin' Russian Imperial Stout, which had an IBU of 70 which we did not realize upon ordering. Some might like this type of beer, but we were not fans. Nothing on you Braeloch, we will return for more. As far as food goes, we shared the margarita flatbread and it was delicious. The crust was thin, crispy on the outside and chew on the inside. Stopped in for a cold beer and a burger with my son. I've been here several times before. The beer is very consistent and is very good. I prefer darker beers and the Russian Imperial is spot on!! We each ordered food via the app using the QR code on the table. The process was easy and smooth. The food came quickly and was very fresh. The burger tasted hand made and was grilled spot on to our cooking request (medium). Cudos to the head Brewer! Not easy to keep the beer consistent, but you have this figured out!
