We stopped here before our visit to Longwood Gardens. We all throughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Butternut Squash flatbread, my daughter had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and my husband had the Smash Burger. We also ordered a basket of fries which were great too. Plus the homemade chips on the side were crisp and perfectly seasoned. While we were waiting I had a Cranberry Mule which I would also recommend. Fun atmosphere with TV's showing the football game. Friends hosted an event here, and it was lovely. It's rustic but comfortable, with nods to the mushroom capital of the world. The catering was great. Mushroom tacos, carnitas, brisket... it was all good. We only drank soda, but the bar serves local brews. There's plenty of room for events and regular customers. Musicians set up as we were leaving, and they drew an audience. Bonus: plenty of parking. read more

One of the coolest places we've been in while, it was busy so we did find parking nearby but offsite from the main area without issue, but was worth it. The open tab system throughout the area was convenient and appreciated - whether getting ice cream, food, or various beverages at the plentiful options they all had your tab information conveniently accessible to streamline the process. OK! This place is massive!!! Like it never ends. There is limited parking out front, but an overflow lot down the road which would be a quick stroll to the restaurant. There is ample inside seating, as well as some pretty lovely seating tucked throughout the entire area. There's a bar inside and outside. There's also a Tiki Shack and a Daiquiri Shack outback. This place has many drink options!! You will find some creative options. I can't imagine not being able to find something that you like. The spicy margarita was delicious. The orange crush was just okay (not a true MD one). The tiki drink (can't remember the name) was also good. There is a kitchen with terrific food options available. There's apps, mains, flatbreads, nachos, and even dessert options. There's also an ice cream truck tucked in the seating area as well. We ordered the mushroom soup and the mushroom flatbread which was absolutely amazing - highly recommend!! They also have cookies at the register - buy them! You won't wait long for your food (they text you when it's ready for pick up). This is a dog friendly and kid friendly place where you can relax and get some wonderful food while enjoying the outdoors. Such a terrific place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I have some very positive things, and some very negative things to say about our experience here. Also- get here early. The whole street/ parking lot is under construction and parking is a nightmare. Positives: Super kid friendly Biergarten. Little place outside for kids to play on, with lots of space and seating options. The food also is delicious and affordable! I ate the sweet potato gnocchi and is was great. Negatives: we came with a large group for someone's birthday. We reached out 4 months in advance to book a private space. The event coordinator never answered. Then we tried to set up a call, and they never responded. Months and months of trying to get ahold and book and when we finally did, they said everything was booked. Fine. Annoying, but fine. Now... we get there and the event spaces were empty. It was beyond infuriating that we wanted to book the space and pay for it, and no one answered and then the space was unused. While everyone that worked there as a server/ bartender/ anyone we interacted with the day of was lovely, clearly the person that books events has some communication gaps to work through. read more

Such a cool spot! This place is huge, with indoor and outdoor space, plenty of seating, some really cozy seating spaces that looked like camp sites, and just great decor all over. They have a great beer selection on draft and in bottles, cocktails, and non-alcoholic, basically something for everyone. Food was fantastic, we had chicken tenders and fries and the nachos to share, and I had the exotic mushroom flatbread. All awesome. Even had some crew brûlée for dessert. read more

I'm happy the Creamery is open even in the colder months! My recent trip had heaters running and plenty of space in indoor area. This place is so adorable with their lights and cute decor. The bar and food area have a great selection though pricey. I was happy to see mushrooms on the food menu and dove right it! The flatbread are a good size and delicious. What a fun place! Not at all what I expected. My kids gave us a gift card and we thought it was a restaurant. Now I see why they love it so much. There is a lot of outdoor seating, live music, and food. There is a daiquiri shack, and food trucks. We got a mango daiquiri which was refreshing and delicious, and I got a tuna poke bowl while RJ got a smash burger. You place your order and get a text when ready. What a lovely night. It was a Oyster night, and I had a dozen of delicious oysters, freshly shucked. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious IPA and some white wine. Husband had a pretzel and chicken fingers and fries and I had a salad. It's serve yourself, and it works out very well and the bartenders were very nice. The Creamery has so much to offer, from great food and drinks, to axe throwing, ice skating, and live music! My group stopped in on a busy Friday night after a visit to nearby Longwood Gardens and lucked out with securing a self seating table at the right time. I really enjoyed my Winter's Eve margarita, however my crab fries which included Jumbo Lump Crab, Queso Blanco, Old Bay, and Scallions were somewhat lackluster, with an inadequate amount of toppings on the fries. Overall, everyone else was pleased with the pricing, quality, and portions of their meal. I would recommend this establishment to anyone in the area. read more

The Creamery is fun and they have something for everyone. They have food, booze and axe throwing. They have a variety of drinks, which pleased the group. I also love that they have water stations, so I don't have to wait in line to just get water. When I went they had pizza and typical bar food, but I was told that in the summer time, they have food trucks. The Creamery has cover bands playing, but if you want to have a conversation, there is an outdoor area. The outdoor area has heat lamps, which is perfect for this time of year when it is still cold out at night. The Creamery place reminds me of a more evolved Frankford Hall. read more

This place is really cool, but the food is a different story. My husband, daughter and I stopped here for an early dinner yesterday. We could hear the axe throwing from the parking lot so we stopped in to check it out. You can watch safely from behind a fenced area. We got some beers from one of the two bars that they have and found a table outside to sit. We ordered way too much food because everything sounded so good and we were hungry. We ordered the South Philly Pje, Brisket and Killer Mac and Cheese. The Mac and cheese was my favorite but they didn't add the gold fish. The brisket was good but they didn't slice it for us so it was really difficult to eat. They also gave us 1/2 brisket, 1/2 fat which they gladly gave us more meat when we pointed it out. The pizza was burnt and the toppings weren't spread evenly. The atmosphere and beers are worth the trip here. They even have a children's garden so they can run and play while you sit and keep an eye on them. If I do get food from here again I'll probably try their sandwiches. read more

The space is beautiful and seems like a cool place to hang. That said, there are almost no vegan options on the menu and there is nothing that is both vegan and gluten free. I was told the tofu was not breaded but fried in a fryer with other items containing gluten. I'm not allergic to gluten, it's just a dietary preference and without other options for dinner, I went for it. It arrived with breading and it was pretty spicy. My child ordered hummus and I asked for extra veggies (willing to pay for it,) and was told they couldn't do that. We went back a few minutes after the kitchen closed (not realizing,) and asked if I could order some more hummus and was told that I waited too long(??) The staff didn't seem helpful. I wouldn't return for a meal for these reasons. Also, the band was far too loud to enjoy a conversation in that area. read more

I'm loving the new Creamery! It's so nice to have it as a year-round venue. The outside area is essentially the same as before, but now there's a large inside space with a bar and stage for bands, as well as an ax throwing area. You can still order pizzas and some bar food, too. There's a good beer selection, as well as some cocktails and wines. On a January Saturday it was packed. We ended up sitting outside, and even though it was around 40 degrees, there were lots of people outside. There's one fire pit, but it was occupied. We had a great time, but thought we'd enjoy it the Creamery had some heat lamps outside for those who want a more laid-back experience (the band inside was good but it was noisy and crowded). We had a great time and are so glad that Kennett has something like this to offer! read more

The Creamery is a great addition to Fishkill. There are many great flavors of ice cream to choose from and the friendly staff will let you sample anything if you are having trouble making a choice. There is limited seating inside but plenty of beautiful outdoor seats for nice days and evenings. I really enjoy coming here. read more

We rented The Farm Table Room at this location for a bridal shower in January 2024. When we inquired about the space, I specifically asked the event manager if the room would be comfortable, since it was a winter event. I was assured it would be. However, the room was freezing, and most guests did not take off their jackets. The Farm Table Room is billed to fit up to 45, but it does not. At 45, we were crammed. While we were offered some space outside the room to accommodate, it was even more cold outside of the room. We were not told until a few days prior to the event that the outdoor bar was not open. Guests had to trudge through rain and sleet to get a drink. Our food was removed at the end of the event with no option given to take food home, despite spending over $3k for our event. Event staff was hard to track down during the planning phase, and didn't even check in at the end of the event. I do not recommend this space at all for events! read more

I was at The Creamery on 11/6/22. The food selection available was a little skimpy but I settled on a hamburger which was definitely undercooked. My main reason for one * was that I had opened a tab to buy a soft drink while waiting for the rest of my party. I went back to buy another soft drink and was told the tab was closed! I asked why and no explanation given. I review my credit card statement a few days later and they charged me $11.78 for a root beer soda!!!!!!! I called today and no one answers the phone!!!! I love this place! It's one of my favorite bars in Kennett. For years Kennett had little to no nightlife. Thanks to The Creamery, Kennett has become a hip place for people of all ages! The Creamery is the perfect place to bring your kid, your teen, your dog, and even your grandma! The drinks are seasonal, but my personal summer favorite is the orange crush. They have also revamped their food options and offer a pretty decent variety of food for the whole family! We got there right after the opened, there was a shortage of items available but we all made due. I was probably the 5th or 6th person to order. We get out drinks and are waiting and legit everyone at the table got their food and finished their food before I got mine. I ordered the lamb mini sliders so I didn't understand why it took 20 minutes when someone else at the table got the same thing. once I got my food it was fine but there wasn't an efficient system for food service. It felt like they were pushing out what was quick and not doing it in order. There was no update as to why it was taking so long unless I asked. I was able to share the burrata salad with a friend while I waited and it was good. We finished the day with ice cream, I had the mint chip and was surprised it was red instead of green but alas still good. There are other food trucks that are directly off site that you can order from, that might be a better option in my opinion. read more
