    Pappardele veal - deliciousness!!

My partner and I went here without a reservation around 7:15 on a Thursday and were seated right away even with a small crowd. We ordered the short rib egg rolls which were delicious and filling. I ordered the pappardelle veal and my partner ordered the sweet potato cavatelli. We both felt like this was the best meal we have had in a restaurant in quite some time. I would definitely recommend! Also, they had excellent service with water glass being filled often and staff checking in throughout. I can't believe it's taken us this long to try it here. Based on our experience., I know we will come back many times!

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of pasta at this place. Everything was absolutely divine from the texture of the meat to the pasta. I had a lobster/mussels and everything from the sauce to the cook on the seafood was divine. The ambiance is great as it has TVs and a casual sports scene but not loud enough that you can't enjoy your dinner.

Wonderful service and very fresh and beautiful food .. service was great. Dad prefers Yuengling Beer and likes it on tap.. at 93 I can't change his mind ... he would like to bring his own next time if they don't have it That is the only thing that was not quite perfect

Wow. The food here was amazing. The restaurant was packed. We had made a reservation for 9. Our table was waiting when we arrived. This is not a huge restaurant but they seem to have the tables set up so that they can fit a lot of people in and it feels cozy not cramped. I had read reviews that said this was BYOB so had stopped for wine on the way. However, they now have a full bar with wine so you don't need to bring alcohol. The good news is that you can still bring in your own beer and wine! This helps to cut down on your bill. Entrees here are pricey but worth it. Our server made some recommendations. They also had some specials for the night. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything you order from here. Everyone loved their food. Dessert looked great but we were all pretty stuffed. A couple people had some limoncello after for a post shot after dinner. I will happily return here for another dinner. Can't wait!!

No, but they are extremely cooperative and try their best to accommodate. No chicken fingers, fried foods or ranch dressing

Will you ever add Veal Saltimbocca back to the menu? You made the best sauce and became my standard to hold all other restaurants to. Pleazzzzz bring it back !!!

What time is the lunch menu available?

I checked the web site for you- 11:30 - 3:00

    Is this place Byob?

Yes it's byob and they have a drink menu

Dinner was only a few hours off, but a bit too soon for a full lunch. However, the menu got the best of us and we ended up ordering a bunch of little things which ended up being far too much, but definitely in a good way. The space is quirky with a wonderful neo-mod design that is very eye catching and makes great use of the old diner aesthetic of the previous space, while improving upon it a hundredfold by making it much classier but not over the top. It does feel decidedly like a 1960's Italian locale out of a Roger Moore or Sean Connery era Bond film; to great effect. Another thing I loved about the design is that it feels compact but not small. I dislike huge restaurants, and love the family owned vibe, and this space occupies the very nice Goldilocks zone between being 'just right'. The food was good and I will get to that, but what really made our experience was our outstanding, amazing, dare I say...... legendary server, Alice. She was just flat out hands down an all around pro with a great attitude, a kind smile, and a wonderful personality who knew exactly how to keep a table like ours happy, engaged, and ready to come back again. This is something that I feel has been missing in so many places since Covid occurred, and encountering someone as great as Alice just really made the whole time there a notch above. Finally getting to the food, which was obviously delicious, there was nothing that was absolutely mind blowing, but all of it was very unique and extremely well prepared and flavorful. I did like that not everything was tomato-centric on the menu and there was a vast variety of different dishes that match the uniqueness of the space. The highlight for me was the carrot soup, not an every day item, that was nice and heavy with cumin. Brilliant flavors but not too forward, which followed our caprese dip that was an outstanding take on a dish that everyone loves, but is overdone at this point. The bread they are serving here is insanely good; either lightly toasted or grilled quickly on a flat grill, I am not sure, but slathered with high quality olive oil and it's perfectly soft, crispy, crusty, and chewy all at the same time. Testa Rossa is definitely worth checking out, and we only went for a few small plates with the intention of it being a snack. Apparently the family has more than one location, although I am not sure where the others are. If you are near Glen Mills, it is definitely worth the trip to stop in here and give them a try. Oh, and don't forget to pair your food with the super cool espresso martini tower, because you get to choose the flavors, but I'm still sticking with classic as my favorite!

Perfect for meeting friends having a gathering we're just having dinner on a business trip. There's an above average beer offering as well as a full bar. I chose to have an old-fashioned with my meal. There's a large selection of shareable's and I chose the crab dip and it was nicely done. There's five or six flatbread pizzas to choose from a nice offering of salads as well as sandwiches, and four entrées, consisting of mac & cheese, fish and chips, muscles, pork cutlet. I always enjoy Reuben so I took their twist of a Reuben cheesesteak on a pretzel hoagie, which was nice and soft and a fun twist on a Reuben. Really out of touch with quality and consistency for this price point. Next, the turkey sandwich, which isn't really a sandwich, more a closed turkey plate with bread and gravy slathered over it, which forces a knife and fork meal (not what I expected). Also, salmon salad is literally a chopped salad with mini shredded salmon. Why would you do that to a nice piece of fish? And the mushroom soup is a purée with no sign of pieces of mushroom. I still have my teeth, why do I feel like I'm eating baby food? I mean the taste was good but I feel like stumbled into a restaurant that panders to the blue hair population. The bartender at the time was particularly very friendly and I could tell he gave off the same vibe to everyone. As I left this bar with a friend, one of the (assumedly) local patrons was telling us we should've purposely nudged a guy seated so that we could more easily leave the bar instead of slowly crossing over. That particular patron looked back at the first guy very annoyed. The first guy was probably already at least semi-drunk and just kept trying to go on with his "joke". Another thing that surprises me is that this bar is closed all day Sunday and that they open at 8 AM according to the Yelp page and stay open until 2 AM. Those are mad hours This coming Sunday, there was a big game with Eagles versus the 49ers. I've never heard of a bar open so early in the morning and not open on Sundays. Not open on Sunday because a lot of regular church-goers in the area, or the staff need a break and maybe they would want to go to church? Reminds me of Chik-Fil-A without the super late hours and instead of family friendly style food and drink and chicken icon, booze instead. There were no smokers when me and my friend were there. I was thankful for that. It looks like PA started to ban smoking in all bars in 2021. Personally, don't miss it! I already have a hard enough time breathing and sleeping without being around that stuff! No food at this establishment. Quality drinks on tap and reasonable prices. Nice staff.
