Chicken parm - tough Seafood was average and small in size - and not equal in value based on their cost. Ate here many years ago, and heard they were under new ownership. So we decided to give them a try! Needless to say we won't be back! The food wasn't that great my veal was burnt and the sauce was black on the end. I asked for light cheese and my meal was covered in cheese. My travel companions food wasn't great either. The waitress was great, she tried to make us happy, they made an extra meal because my gf's wasn't what she expected. They offered us free desserts which were the best part of the meal. Overall we all have stated we will not be returning. The place just didn't live up to our expectations and thats Okay. Maybe it was an off night, I work in foodservice and you eat with your eyes. When the plates were placed in front of us the presentation was not good. In our minds we were expecting a bad meal before we even tried it. Need to work out the kinks, but there are much better options right down the road. read more

Casa Mia's authentic Italian taste blew me away! We chose to come for a birthday dinner and as the New Yorker in the group, I was thoroughly impressed. Since moving to this region, I have struggled to find really excellent Italian food, especially chicken francese and when I saw that it was on this menu, I had to try it... and let me say, it was incredible. We selected a handful of apps including their fried octopus, Caesar salad, and homemade bruschetta which were all fresh and delicious. Our server, Margarite was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. We had a mixup last time we went and the chef lost our slip so we had a longggg wait 1 hour . The server we as so so nice and so sorry. Mistakes happen especially at busy restaurants it is the way they are handled and she was so nice as was the Manager.. food came all was good. [1031] 11/2019 I drove past this restaurant Many times as it's located on busy Baltimore pike. I never stopped in but was happy to check it out when my friend suggested this place. Tons of parking There are tables and booths around the room with a bar in the middle. The place was very cozy. The staff was amazing. I had the shrimp appetizer special which had feta and red sauce (combo was amazing). Had the Gorgonzola salad which was tasty. My friend also enjoyed her food. She had clams and chop. Her dinner portion was huge and she definitely had to eat some the next day. I'm glad we stopped in and we will definitely be back. read more

We went here yesterday 8/8/24 the food was great. We went for a late lunch. We were served fresh warm toasted bread that was amazing. I had the eggplant Parmesan that I would definitely get again, my wife had the raviolis and chicken noodle soup. Our waitress was amazing and down to earth and couldn't be more helpful . Just left Casa Mia. We had a reservation for 8 people. They did not have the reservation. We all ordered dinners, which came with salads. After 20 minutes the waiter brought out 5 of the salads. Waited 15 more minutes for him to bring out the rest of them. Ordered the chicken parm with fries and my nephew ordered the steak special. He was finished his steak without the fries. Waited a half an hour for them. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED. The waiter had no personality. I have been a server all my life and have never had the experience like I did today! Will not be back anytime soon. Would not recommend Casa Mia to anyone! read more

Bummer the second time we went-literally everything went wrong!! From a long wait, to cold meatballs, to flat fountain sodas (but insisted it was fine), hair in my food and the pizza was soggy! Small place, seemingly family run. Older building but VERY clean and nice vibe walking in. For those that know the '80's we were expecting to see Norm. Nice basic wine (wife) and draft beer (me) selection. Extremely nice and friendly staff - shout out to Brenda! Ordered appetizer (crab balls) which were excellent. Then the wood fired mushroom pizza. We like pizza and get it all over. This hit every high point especially crust which was perfectly cooked and was excellent. So good we came back the next day after Saturday matches before we departed town. Definitely will come back here when in town again. read more

Just went for the first time as we visited our relative nearby in media & let me tell you the food is excellent.. so was the service as well! So glad this place is open for lunch, now. The food is wonderful for dinner or lunch. There are more choices on the evening menu (Chicken Piccata is great), but lunch fits our lifestyle better. Lunch is served 11-2; closed Mondays. Johnny and his sister Susie were so friendly and accommodating when we visited recently. The warm bread and dipping oil (with garlic and basil) was delicious and the lasagna was terrific. My husband enjoyed the angel hair pasta and "giant" meatballs. We will certainly be back again. Haven't been here in over a year or so and food was ALWAYS good. Ate here tonight and unfortunately it has definitely changed. Service was ok, mostly new faces since last here. We understand it's since been under a new owner, but our experience as far as food from start to finish was not very good. Salad was drenched in dressing, chicken parm was like eating a hunk of boiled chicken. Not much breading at all and whatever breading you found was mushy. Sauce had no flavor, tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes was poured over it. The chicken was also thick and tough to chew. Unfortunately even the draft beer was barely cool, was pretty much room temperature. Such a shame to see this, it doesn't even come close to how it was for years! Was a nice little neighborhood stop for good Italian dishes. Hopefully for them, I hope things get a little better but, after coming here for many years, unfortunately we will not be coming back. read more
