    Guava margarita

Came here last night to meet up with a friend. I'm very glad I decided to stop by because ever since they got a new bar, I've been meaning to come to El Ranchero. I ordered the guava margarita and mango mojito. Both were good, but I preferred the mojito! My friend ordered the hurrache with steak and he really enjoyed it. The only food that I had there were the chips and salsas, which were amazing! I seriously cannot wait to come back here and order more mojitos and some food!

Newest bar in kennett square! Food and drinks are amazing. I recommend trying their mojitos or any of their margaritas!!

Great atmosphere, wonderful food very reasonably priced! Clean restaurant with friendly staff. Highly recommend this. I had guacamole, a chicken chimichanga and fried ice cream - presentation for all was just beautiful. I will be back here.

Excellent-great ambiance, menu and food. Service was a little slow but not too bad. A shame they don't serve beer/wine

A very long wait for very mediocre food. There are much better spots for Mexican food in Kennett Square. Pass!

Zappa, C.W.Stoneking, you don't hear this music anywhere around here. Started with an old fashioned which feature a "well bourbon" for happy hour. Don't recommend. Ordered two of the small plates and the highlight was the Thai shrimp. They were huge (12s?) and just fried crispy enough. The chicken wings got the job done. Came with 9, but my GLP drugs only tolerated 6. Overall I would try again, but with Bulleit Rye and just the shrimp. Or the fish and chips.

We were in a hurry because we had to get ready for an event, but as soon as we walked in we were seated right away. The first thing I saw when I looked at the menu, was a Carajillo (Which I was pleasantly surprised that they had it on the menu. It's one of my favorite drinks, especially when I need a caffeine boost and at that time I definitely did!!) I wasn't planning on drinking alcohol, but it was so perfect that I ended up having 2 of them!! Lol For food, I ordered the smash burger and got fries instead of the salad. It was pretty yummy! My cousin's wife ordered the Baba Ganoush and it was delicious!! I was pretty impressed because we had no expectations!

We initially planned to have dinner at the restaurant, but our GPS led us to the adjacent sports bar with the same name. We were seated at a high-top table near the bar and greeted by our friendly server. The menu was similar to the restaurant (I think), but regardless, we were looking for pizza and a beer. They offer two styles of crust: NY-style and Neapolitan. We ordered a cheese pizza with the latter wood fired crust. Our pizza arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was fine. The crust was not as light as I thought it should be. The pie was a good size and plenty for both of us. Service was great the entire evening, and we enjoyed our meal.

I wasn't sure what to make of it as I would have expected a full house on a Saturday night. I'm going to start with a few opportunities. First, the initial glass of water I was brought was not clean. There was literally some food on the side of it. Second and keeping on the topic of water, the waiter did not come back to fill empty glasses of water. Next, I was looking forward to the tomato garlic bread but it was hard when I but into it. Finally, my counterpart ordered a burger and after eating about half of the burger, each bite was like biting into a pallet of salt. It was like someone accidentally spilled a salt shaker so he obviously couldn't finish it. On the positive side, the place was quiet which was nice, the manager (or maybe it was even the owner) when we asked for more water bought us a carafe so we didn't run out again (which I love), and also when we left I accidentally forgot my takeout container on the table and again the manager (or owner) ran out after us to get it to us which I appreciated so much. Relative to the food, it was average (minus the salt side of the burger which was not good). The soft pretzel appetizer was good and I had lasagne which was decent enough. I will say it was a huge lasagne portion (two squares)! Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back with so many other options.

*Indoor Dining Review*…read more We came here for brunch and wasn't expecting anything special, but we were all pleasantly surprised with the restaurant overall, food and service. Restaurant: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 ~Restaurant~ Just walking in the first impression is this place has a lot of history, the first floor looks like a typical bar/restaurant type setup, with a ton of wall arts. There's also an option to sit upstairs with semi-open air (Can be close using garage doors..yes garage doors), which we chose since it was a really nice day. Everything's clean apart from the sticky tables. ...Also the check they give you at the end is in a book (Shown in the picture). Love the idea. ~Service~ Our waitress is very friendly, attentive and helpful. No complains here. ~Food~ What we order: -Breakfast Burrito (Delicious) -Crab Skillet (Very Delicious, highly recommended) -Crab Toast Breakfast (Delicious) -Smokehouse Skillet (Delicious) Overall all of the food we ordered are cooked nicely and seasoned, and the portion is just perfect. I was a little worry with the price of crab dishes (being a bit low to me) that we would get either intimidation crab or not enough if it is real crab. The crabs are real and plentiful. I was just telling my girlfriend how good the food is, and that we should go back for brunch again soon. Since there are a lot of other stores we can walk around and visit afterwards. I look forward to going back again.

However, this past visit at the Applebees in Kennett Square was quite pleasant. The host and our waiter were extremely friendly! And the food and drinks were good as always! Food was as you would expect for one. Not gourmet food but for an Applebee's was really good. Specificity yesterday when I went I was on 5 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. By the time I went I had been up for 26ish hours straight (downside to night shift and the birds winning the Super Bowl). So I was exhausted and hungry. Overall the it wasn't too loud and had a good feel at the restaurant. No screaming like I'm used to at Applebee's. Y'all will have to forgive me I don't remember the waitress's name and neither does my girlfriend but as far as service at a restaurant it was the best I've had in a while. Great sense of humor. Didn't have to ask for refills. She checked on us enough times to make sure everything was good but not too much.. if everyone who works there is like her I would 10/10 recommend going to this location.
