Are you looking for a bit of history lesson while you sip your beer? Then head over to Dew Point…read moreand you'll find the perfect place. Set in a snuff mill built in 1901, there's plenty of history to explore at this former manufacturing site. The brewery is located on the second floor of this family run spot with plenty of seating inside or out. We had the friendliest bartentder walk us through the beer options & quick history of the site and headed back downstairs to enjoy our brews in the spring sunshine. There's plenty of tables (with umbrellas for shade!) on the patio and some additional tables tucked underneath the small tree grove having the stage. There wasn't a food truck but judging from the table next to us, feel fee to bring your own picnic. The drive out to this area is half of the joy in this little spot, we know we'll be back again this summer.

The space inside is small and cozy, and the space outside is large and spectacular. Several tables, an outdoor bar, a huge lawn for cornhole and other games. The outdoor area alone seems worth the visit. It was a freezing cold March day so we spent all of our time inside. My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!

It's a bit of a maze through an industrial park in Newport to find the place, which has plenty of parking. We walked in around 4 PM on a Saturday to find a nearly empty space, except for a group of people that was clearly friends/family of the bartender. There's a variety of seating options --- bar stools, couches, picnic tables, etc. There's also a bunch of games including shuffleboard, darts, and various board games. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. They had 11 available options, though several were spins on other options (ex: one tap was their stout, another option was their stout mixed with their root beer as a "float"). They seem to excel most with their dark beers --- we enjoyed the "float" and the "chocolate covered cherry" flavored stout. The rest of the beers were just okay. The Jubilicious is pitched as the closest option to an IPA (but it wasn't really hoppy), though based on the can design it was intended to be a holiday special that was somehow still on tap. I was disappointed by the cider, which really tasted more like champagne. I'd be willing to go back for a trivia night or some other activity, but I'm not sure I'd trek back just to grab a drink.

Super cool people work here and the atmosphere is real chill. Parking is free and there's plenty of seating in the tasting room. The place is set up where toucan play darts or skeeball. They do flights, pints, and growlers. There's even root beer and a small activity area for the kiddie poos. Their beer does not use corn or rice. We got the Ale and it tasted clean and fresh and has a lingering sweet profile. We will be visiting there in the near future.

Those are the most important things for a brewery/taproom to get right, and Levante absolutely does. That said, the taproom can get very loud. If there's a band playing or bingo taking place, having a conversation can be tough. Some people like raucous bars, but I like to be able to shoot the breeze when I'm drinking and actively avoid these events. I also wish they worked with more food trucks that have at least one vegetarian option on the menu. Barbecue or glizzy trucks mean I'm going elsewhere to get my drink on. (A few years ago they ran their own top-notch pizza truck, and if they brought it back, I would probably try to move in.) Anyway, my complaints are minor. Levante is one of my favorite PA breweries; they have great beer and great people, and they deserve every bit of their success. Cheers!

I love that they have a few frozen drink options and also on-tap rotating seasonal mixed drinks. I believe they have wine and some NA options too. We frequent here for bingo Sundays and they also have trivia and a few other weekly events. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have rotating food trucks but you can also bring your own food as well. There is indoor and a covered outdoor area for seating with a great ambiance & vibe. Children and dogs are welcome. Highly recommend!

They have both indoor and outdoor seating options and a good variety of beers. We enjoyed food from Taco Bar while we were there; they seem to rotate different food trucks. They also had MacGerk's food truck so it was cool to have two different options and there are also snacks available for purchase at the bar. Staff here were very friendly. It was cool to see many people of all ages enjoying themselves on a beautiful day. There was a band while we were there and we enjoyed listening to them while we ate and drank our beers. I'd like to go back to see how their beer rotations change; they didn't have some of my favorite styles, but still was able to find one I liked! Overall, this was a cool spot and loved reading about the history of the farm and family on their website. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area!
