While I've normally visited for weekend dinner visits my visit on this occasion was a mid-week happy hour. First, if you've enjoyed the setting in the past you will be happy to know it looks/feels like the same Iron Hill, spacious, clean, well lit, and plenty of TVs in the expansive bar area for watching sporting events. There is outdoor seating both on the main level and the upper level ---for this visit I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by a welcoming bartender who walked me through the happy hour specials---half dozen food options from a soft hot pretzel to personal pan pizzas for $7....thats a bargain from my perspective. Throw in drink specials and this is a great happy hour setup. Opted for a red blend and they had a very good mid-level blend I've had other places---Pessimist red blend. Went with a personal pan pizza and asked for light sauce and extra cheese and it was prepared perfectly.....didn't even get charged for the extra cheese! There was a nice crowd for a mid week late afternoon happy hour and the place seemed well staffed and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and attentive----good place to visit or revisit while down on the Wilmington riverfront.

Just trust your GPS especially when the road seems like it might not be right. Once we parked we found the place to be really fun. Good beers on tap, friendly service, lots of big social tables, and nice outdoor seating too. We only had time for one beer. But this place has good vibes and if I were local it'd probably be a regular stop for me. They have lots of games to play to pass the time while enjoying your fresh cold brews. Definitely recommend.

Set in a snuff mill built in 1901, there's plenty of history to explore at this former manufacturing site. The brewery is located on the second floor of this family run spot with plenty of seating inside or out. We had the friendliest bartentder walk us through the beer options & quick history of the site and headed back downstairs to enjoy our brews in the spring sunshine. There's plenty of tables (with umbrellas for shade!) on the patio and some additional tables tucked underneath the small tree grove having the stage. There wasn't a food truck but judging from the table next to us, feel fee to bring your own picnic. The drive out to this area is half of the joy in this little spot, we know we'll be back again this summer.

Super cool people work here and the atmosphere is real chill. Parking is free and there's plenty of seating in the tasting room. The place is set up where toucan play darts or skeeball. They do flights, pints, and growlers. There's even root beer and a small activity area for the kiddie poos. Their beer does not use corn or rice. We got the Ale and it tasted clean and fresh and has a lingering sweet profile. We will be visiting there in the near future.

We walked in around 4 PM on a Saturday to find a nearly empty space, except for a group of people that was clearly friends/family of the bartender. There's a variety of seating options --- bar stools, couches, picnic tables, etc. There's also a bunch of games including shuffleboard, darts, and various board games. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. They had 11 available options, though several were spins on other options (ex: one tap was their stout, another option was their stout mixed with their root beer as a "float"). They seem to excel most with their dark beers --- we enjoyed the "float" and the "chocolate covered cherry" flavored stout. The rest of the beers were just okay. The Jubilicious is pitched as the closest option to an IPA (but it wasn't really hoppy), though based on the can design it was intended to be a holiday special that was somehow still on tap. I was disappointed by the cider, which really tasted more like champagne. I'd be willing to go back for a trivia night or some other activity, but I'm not sure I'd trek back just to grab a drink.
