Different chemistry going on in the brewery now

Great Beer. Terrific Cider. Confusing system. Not all beers they make are for sale in cans (growlers available). So come on in and use the QR code and try to order. Oh, you can't. That's right. A waiter will come and take your order. Still, restauranting shouldn't be hard or confusing. Did I say restaurant? No food here. People brought in pizzas and meatballs from next door. But the synergy isn't easy (I had three beer samples-do I leave them here to get a pizza? I need very explicit instructions. Turntable Tuesday is all about vinyl. Fun music but you shouldn't have to love your customers so that the DJ can set up. Did I share that the sour beers are excellent? Music was great 80's stuff too.

Private area for a larger event.

Stopped in with a friend of mine while my boyfriend was working nearby. It was a great find checking this place out. We were taken care of by Derek who walked us thru the different options for brews. We decided to take on the menu with a flight each pretty much drinking the meal between the two flights. A couple of light summer drinks like a radler and sours along with a sour milkshake with fruit flavors like coconut, lime, and strawberry. The atmosphere is gorgeous with indoor and outdoor seating with tons of natural light that brightens up the whole building. You can see yourself enjoying some drinks while chatting with friends or getting caught up with work. With a dangerous combination of an Italian restaurant next door, you can bring a meal to enjoy while sipping on your brews. I'll be coming back with a growler and some more company to enjoy the drinks. Hope to be here on a night there was a couple of events and music.

WBW remains my favorite local brewery, and I have to give them kudos for adapting well in the face of the COVID pandemic. They have been following restrictions appropriately, the friendly staff is always masked, and the tables are appropriately spaced. They have really expanded their outdoor seating options, featuring a variety of picnic tables, cozy patio sets for two, and adirondack chairs. Additionally, they have been offering online ordering for growlers, crowlers, and more recently, canned options of their beers, allowing for easy pick-up to enjoy WBW at home. Since my original review, WBW has greatly expanded their creative beer offerings. I love a good sour beer, and their Duvette and Par Avion series are delicious. We literally purchased one of their growlers to use every time Par Avion Pineapple Cream comes back on tap --- it is one of my all-time favorite beers with the perfect blend of pineapple and vanilla. They've also had some excellent IPAs recently, including the ode-to-Biden Railcar One and the tropical Postcards to Paradise. Their Irish stout, Bricfeasta Indiscretion is really good, and we were thrilled to find somewhere offering a stout with a lower ABV for those days you want something lighter.

Great local spot! Nice variety of ciders and brews. I really love the vibe of the place. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Establishment was clean and allows you to bring in your own food. I highly recommend La Pizzeria Metro next door. I really enjoyed their sour ales. Lots of options for takeout brews as well a variety of slushees. Dog friendly too! Def recommend and def will return.

Interior cashier! You can try the beer as well before you buy!

I think this place is a fantastic! Came here for a work outing, and the place is huge, which is appropriate as a beer hall. Decor is super nice and spacious. Prices are what you expect a brewery to be. Good selection as well, and would love to come back for the flights on a day off. They don't serve food, but I heard that there are food trucks out front. Would definitely recommend trying, especially if you're around the area. Pros: Large space Cons: No food

Catch the Tuesday pop up! There's eclectic vinyls being sold, great brew samples and lots of conversations buzzing around the space. A great vibe out on a weeknight.

Great beer No food but pizza joint next door Friendly staff Non alcoholic drinks also

Wilmington Beer Works easily deserves the five star review it gets here! Let's first start with: The Atmosphere - it's a cozy and clean establishment that is perfect for families, friends and anyone wanting to enjoy a good beer. Not a rowdy bar scene at all. Food - There were two food trucks when we visited this afternoon. Which is a great selection for a brewery with a variety of food from pizza to fried food. Beer - Wilmington Beer Works is one of a kind because it's not your typical brewery full of IPAs, Pale Ales and Ambers.. they had lots of different concepts like dopplebocks, sours, hybrids and they use a variety of hops and brewing methods. Every single beer was different from the other. I am convinced there brew master is a mad scientist with all of these crazy concoctions. Overall amazing experience!

A great spot for Delaware! The beer was pretty good. There were a handful of average brews and a couple of really good brews. We grabbed 2 crowlers after our flights to take home. Everything was reasonable. The day that we went there was a food truck: Dump N Roll. I'm glad for that because we were all a bit hungry. The bar was an interesting set up. You stand in line and order at the register. I'm not sure I like that set up much. If I wasn't with my family, I would have loved to belly up to a bar. The atmosphere was quite lovely. I like the community seating because the whole social thing of going to a bar. The chalk walls were fun for all ages!

Love this place. Delicious, flavorful, creative beers. I don't even like beer very much but the sampler option is perfect for me. Tons to pick from, lots of variety. Great local spot that I am happy to support !

Went here a few weeks ago with 3 other people to have a couple beers and watch a comedy show. Overall I really enjoyed it here - service was great and the atmosphere was really cool. The reason I didn't put 5 stars is because to me the beer and cider was just ok. I tried 2 beers and 3 ciders and all 3 ciders just tasted a bit odd. One in particular which I unfortunately can't remember the name of was undrinkable. The beer was better but not remarkable. I'd still go back though because I enjoyed the vibe and they have a lot of cool events. It sounds like they change the beers often so I'd like to try something new, maybe I picked the wrong things.

New beer hall that just opened in Wilmington Delaware. The place has community seating with an odd way to order beer. There isn't a bar. There is a cashier that you wait in line. You order and then take a seat. You then go back up and get your alcohol especially if there is alot of people with a wait. The process is awkward especially if you want a second round...you need to get back in line again. We ordered a flight. The beer was not extraordinary. Wilmington Brew Works is a run of the mill brewery with nothing that stood out.

The space inside is small and cozy, and the space outside is large and spectacular. Several tables, an outdoor bar, a huge lawn for cornhole and other games. The outdoor area alone seems worth the visit. It was a freezing cold March day so we spent all of our time inside. My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!

It's a bit of a maze through an industrial park in Newport to find the place, which has plenty of parking. We walked in around 4 PM on a Saturday to find a nearly empty space, except for a group of people that was clearly friends/family of the bartender. There's a variety of seating options --- bar stools, couches, picnic tables, etc. There's also a bunch of games including shuffleboard, darts, and various board games. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. They had 11 available options, though several were spins on other options (ex: one tap was their stout, another option was their stout mixed with their root beer as a "float"). They seem to excel most with their dark beers --- we enjoyed the "float" and the "chocolate covered cherry" flavored stout. The rest of the beers were just okay. The Jubilicious is pitched as the closest option to an IPA (but it wasn't really hoppy), though based on the can design it was intended to be a holiday special that was somehow still on tap. I was disappointed by the cider, which really tasted more like champagne. I'd be willing to go back for a trivia night or some other activity, but I'm not sure I'd trek back just to grab a drink.

Those are the most important things for a brewery/taproom to get right, and Levante absolutely does. That said, the taproom can get very loud. Some people like raucous bars, but I like to be able to shoot the breeze when I'm drinking and actively avoid these events. I also wish they worked with more food trucks that have at least one vegetarian option on the menu. Barbecue or glizzy trucks mean I'm going elsewhere to get my drink on. (A few years ago they ran their own top-notch pizza truck, and if they brought it back, I would probably try to move in.) Anyway, my complaints are minor.
