All that's left of a super tasty hazy NE IPA.

Don't let the unassuming drive up deter you. Amidst some nondescript, corporate warehouse architecture lurks a super-cool brewery with great beverages! Very tasty Diamond State Stout (4.8 ABV) & Eze NEIPA (also an easy 4.8ABV). Fire pits! Pinball! Trivia nights! Food trucks! ... and one of our faves, La Casa de Lulu (killer tacos & great fries!). Magic 8-ball says: "I see a return trip in your future!"

I went here on a Saturday Night for a date. The atmosphere was pretty cool, the seats were socially distanced and they even allowed bar seating. You seat yourself and open your camera to scan the QR code. It opened up the App Untappd. I walked to the bar to see if they were serving flights. They were but the first 3 choices I made on Untappd, were unavailable. The bartender told me the draft list was up there. I think they need to update the Untappd because it was hard to see their offerings. Ordered 2 flights. The beer was okay, I was expecting more, the music and ambience were much better. After sampling we got 2 more drafts, i picked from 2 choices in case 1 was unavailable from the app again. Good thing I did because my 1st choice was unavailable. Again they need to update this especially if they are paying for it. Cool little spot, had an outdoor area but it was too cold to sit outside. I would definitely check out their 2 other spots as they all offer different beers. Music and company were great as well. They had a food truck but we didn't peruse. Bathrooms were very clean as well.

Not sure how the reviews are so high for the place. I also don't know why the bartender had such an attitude as soon as we walked in. We visited on a Saturday night. I thought it was a bigger establishment not next to a bunch of private garages. We tried almost every IPA on tap and unfortunately really was not impressed at all. The bartender was not only not helpful and rude but was eating chips and salsa and cake behind the bar. Def will not return :(

We LOVE bellefonte. They are so sweet to our Stella whenever we come by, and the beers are so good. I love trying a new one every time we go by, and knowing it'll always be great.

This is one of the oddest breweries that I've ever been to. This place is located in an industrial park in basically a storage unit. It was hard to find but well worth the search. Make the time to go here. Staff is great and fun to be around and the beers are incredible. Awesome place to hang out with friends for an afternoon or evening.

There are so many other better breweries in Delaware. The beer is all off tasting. I gave it many tries and it just kept getting worse.

Ask the Community - Bellefonte Brewing

Do they have any outdoor seating?

Yes, we have a patio area with 2 large picnic tables and sun sails covering the area. It's not rainproof but provides some shade on hot days.

Does this brewery have any ciders?

We do not, unfortunately. We do however offer a few fruited ales and sours.

How many Tesla chargers is there to charge a Tesla?

We have 2 Tesla destination chargers located opposite the taproom so you can see that your car is still charging while enjoying a pint.

Luckily, Iron Hill has plenty of seating and we're able to seat us right away, despite our large group. We sat outside on the second floor, which was beautiful. We started with some appetizers: nachos, fried Brussel sprouts, and the chili crunch chicken lettuce wraps. I found the Brussel sprouts to be a little crispy, which took away from the actual Brussel sprout. The rest of the table seemed to enjoy the other appetizers. Next, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. This was especially good, as all of the flavors on the sandwich combined perfectly. The only downside was the chicken was far too small for the bread and the rest of the sandwich. Other people in our group had the fish tacos, different types of burgers, and the vodka rigatoni. Two people were splitting the vodka rigatoni and the food was brought out already split in two bowls, which was very thoughtful. I also tried someone's sweet potato fry and was impressed how thick and somehow "meaty" the fry was. You could tell it was just an actual sweet potato that was cut and cooked. Throughout the evening, we noticed people were staying a long time, which may have been because the service was a little slow. We didn't mind it since we were having a nice time, but it is good to note if you are on a time crunch. Overall, I would say Iron Hill is not somewhere you go when you want an amazing dining experience, but it is a great place to go with a large menu, that will leave everyone happy and satisfied.

The space inside is small and cozy, and the space outside is large and spectacular. Several tables, an outdoor bar, a huge lawn for cornhole and other games. The outdoor area alone seems worth the visit. It was a freezing cold March day so we spent all of our time inside. My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!

It's a bit of a maze through an industrial park in Newport to find the place, which has plenty of parking. We walked in around 4 PM on a Saturday to find a nearly empty space, except for a group of people that was clearly friends/family of the bartender. There's a variety of seating options --- bar stools, couches, picnic tables, etc. There's also a bunch of games including shuffleboard, darts, and various board games. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. They had 11 available options, though several were spins on other options (ex: one tap was their stout, another option was their stout mixed with their root beer as a "float"). They seem to excel most with their dark beers --- we enjoyed the "float" and the "chocolate covered cherry" flavored stout. The rest of the beers were just okay. The Jubilicious is pitched as the closest option to an IPA (but it wasn't really hoppy), though based on the can design it was intended to be a holiday special that was somehow still on tap. I was disappointed by the cider, which really tasted more like champagne. I'd be willing to go back for a trivia night or some other activity, but I'm not sure I'd trek back just to grab a drink.

Those are the most important things for a brewery/taproom to get right, and Levante absolutely does. That said, the taproom can get very loud. Some people like raucous bars, but I like to be able to shoot the breeze when I'm drinking and actively avoid these events. I also wish they worked with more food trucks that have at least one vegetarian option on the menu. Barbecue or glizzy trucks mean I'm going elsewhere to get my drink on. (A few years ago they ran their own top-notch pizza truck, and if they brought it back, I would probably try to move in.) Anyway, my complaints are minor.
