Pulled pork sandwich

The food here is amazing, an actual party in my mouth with every bite of that sandwich. And there is something about those fries, they are salty with a little sweet and a tiny spice, so so good. I've also gotten bite sized cheeseburgers and loaded nachos from here, I am always very satisfied with my meal and can not wait to try more of the menu!

This place is very small town feel and they make you feel at home. My girlfriend and I tried the BBQ Chicken Nachos and the maple sriracha wings along with the beers pictured and I must say! This place didn't disappoint one but! Also met the owner of the place and she is very friendly. Highly recommend and enjoy!!

Decent beer options. Nothing crazy and nothing that I must come back for. Nonetheless most were good and I'm glad to have tried it. Most interesting thing I tried was the butterscotch porter. Tastes exactly like the name suggests. It's a smallish place. They also have a patio with some bar games. They also have a kitchen with a full menu.

Just driving by after hiking at Fair Hill and looking for a place to eat. We had a flight of beer and a specialty drink...plus food. Baja chicken pictured...awesome. Husband had smoked wings and loved them. Love to visit and support independent places. Very friendly spot. Additional parking in rear that is not very well marked.

I was going to google Valhalla to get a definition but I'm OK with assuming it means 'place where great concepts go to fail miserably.' The beers were mediocre and not much of a variety. The worst part is half the beers were guest beers and there was still no variety. The service was horrible. I asked the male bartender if they had a beer list he told me to look at the blackboard. There was no description of the beers on the blackboard. The other bartender was slow. The busgirl's friend was making the most loud obnoxious bird call sounds. The food was amazing. Whoever runs the kitchen, immediately separate yourself from the rest of that place. I got the petite crabcake on a pretzel roll. This was heaven on earth, complementary ingredients in the proper portions and prepared perfectly. Carole got the sliced turkey special. Another example of how nice little touches can make an ordinary sandwich taste great. The big ass pretzel and it's three sauces were to die for. The maple sugar sauce is an absolute 'can not live without' item. If it was feasible I would use it everytime I use a liquid. The other sauces were very good with the pretzel and pretty darn good the next morning with the corn chips.

If you find yourself in the middle of nowhere on 213 in Fair Hilll/Elkton MD and are looking for some nightlife this is the place to be. It is an interesting Viking inspired microbrewery where the wifi name is "son-of-odin". (creative) Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. They have a self serve kiosk for food and the bar service is pretty good too. Enough tables for about 50 ppl and a bar with about a dozen seats. We ordered flights and some mead.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. We stopped by for food after picking cherries at nearby Milburn Orchards. So glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious. Portions sizes were much larger than we expected. We all took leftovers home. It's not a full service restaurant so food is ordered at the bar and taken to a seat. The bartenders ending up serving us anyway. Very pleasant experience. We will definitely return.

During a recent trip to MD, we visited 3 breweries in the area, and this was the only one that had cider. We also tried the Angry Asian spicy wings. We were expecting the spiciness to be a more Tabasco vinegary spicy, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't, it was a bit sweet. Very delicious and spicy! Needed two ciders to subdue the heat from the wings!

Visiting Valhalla is becoming an annual pre-Thanksgiving tradition for our family. Every visit we have received excellent and friendly service. We always enjoy trying the variety of wing sauces, and particularly enjoyed the spicy Thor's Hammer and tasty Carolina Mustard on our most recent visit. The beer drinkers in our group enjoyed trying out some flights, and there are also some wine options available for those of us who don't like beer. We will definitely be back!

We love this place. Great sandwiches and great drinks. We always stop after our hikes. Outside tables so we can bring the dog.

Food was excellent and unique. We got the Drunkin Piggy sandwich, Crab nachos and wings with honey bourbon sauce. Beers were great too.

Their garden outside was done up with amazing seasonal florals and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a cider flight followed by a Pina colada wine drink and liked both. They had a Mexican food truck onsite that we also greatly enjoyed. They had self serve water stations both inside and out.The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because service was lacking. We received rather rude service from one of the bartenders when ordering drinks and found it challenging to determine what to do with our empty glasses, as no one was coming around to service tables and there was no drop bin either inside or out. Overall, a cute spot that I would return to for good cider.

They have board games/card games inside which you can bring out and play with your group. We got the flight to start off and you can mix ciders and beers. They also have different size growlers which you can take home and come back to refill at a cheaper price. Our favorite ciders were the shandy and blueberry! When we went, there was a pizza food truck which made fresh woodfire pizza which tasted great!

In the end it was good food, other than stale chips, but the service could have been better.. it's a cool place/vibe just kinda average overall given this..

The booth we originally sat at made us feel too squished & hot, so we changed to a table which made us feel a lot better (regarding the heat) Alyssa was our server and she was great, however the service was a bit slow (not her fault, seemed like the kitchen?) We dined in on a Friday but we arrived early around 4:30. We were the only people in the one dining area with two others at the bar so not sure why the food took so long. However, the timeliness (& the heat) was my only complaint. The beer was great as well as the food! We also had two different managers come to us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was great. Would recommend.
