Stop before home for some more DE brewed beer.
    Daryl P.

Stopped in for a flight plus a couple more of their delicious brews on a Monday afternoon to wrap up the start of a new work week. An empty brewery on a early Monday, the hope was that the evening football game would pull in a crowd to sip some beers and enjoy some freshly made food from the local food truck L's. Didn't stick around that late to see but enjoy my time chatting with the bartender Zach while he was taking care of me along with a couple other patrons. Decided on a flight of their light 2 brews and 2 of their IPA style beers. For the Weiss, it was light and easy going and found out later that you can do a couple flavor drops to change the taste up. Whether it is mango, strawberry, or a couple other flavors might be an experiment that I'd try next time I'm there. The IPA had deep flavor with the hops coming thru with each sip. The one that did catch me by surprise was the blood orange sour. An risky move on their part you are better drinking it and not smelling it. For an adventurous taster grab one of those or for a fun prank for a friend. All in all the place is lively even without many people. I can see this place continue to bring in a crowd and maybe on a Wednesday swing by again for their music bingo and check out the latest beers on tap. Pumpkin season is around the corner and they got some fall beers that sound fun to try out!

We've been here a handful of times and it's always a fun vibe. They often have food trucks, live music, and bingo different nights of the week that are featured on their instagram and facebook. I always have consistent service when I'm at the bar and I like how they always have new things on tap for the season. Dog friendly and Sunny Approved

Great beer and friendly staff. It's one of Delaware's best breweries. It's in a hole-in-the-wall location but the beer is worth it

In the end it was good food, other than stale chips, but the service could have been better.. it's a cool place/vibe just kinda average overall given this..

The booth we originally sat at made us feel too squished & hot, so we changed to a table which made us feel a lot better (regarding the heat) Alyssa was our server and she was great, however the service was a bit slow (not her fault, seemed like the kitchen?) We dined in on a Friday but we arrived early around 4:30. We were the only people in the one dining area with two others at the bar so not sure why the food took so long. However, the timeliness (& the heat) was my only complaint. The beer was great as well as the food! We also had two different managers come to us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was great. Would recommend.

The grilled cheese was different than what other places offer and it did not disappoint- Both were great! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Loved the atmosphere here. Waited 30 minutes sitting at the bar, no update or apology offered during the wait. I then asked how much longer and was eventually told a few more minutes, but they have a "new manager," so things were backed up. I've worked in a restaurant before, I understand mistakes happen. To not receive an apology stunned me, honestly. I asked to speak to manager and he told me that I needed to understand they received the order at 7:15pm and they were hosting a private event so it's not their fault. I was more stunned. I showed him on the receipt the 543pm placement time and the 7:15pm pick up time. He told me again they did not receive the order until 7:15 despite the website, receipt recording all this information. Unsurprisingly, some stuff was missing and needed to be added to complete the order. I was given an apology as I walked out by manager, but very poor experience overall. Avoid the online ordering.

I enjoyed the bacon and cheese potato kegs. My wife and I split the BLT and grilled cheese. Hers came with a side salad mine with shoe string fries. My son has the salad. Salmon was very good, it was vodka cured; bloodline and skin removed (+++)! Grain was pretty busy for mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Modern pub/ sports pub feel. Phillies game on the TVs. Music playing. Service was OK. My one pet peeve is allowing servers to leave dirty dishes and empty glasses on the table. And our server, although attentive, did not clear any dishes or glasses. Thank god I don't have epilepsy, the light over our table kept blinking non-stop. Plenty of off street parking for patrons. Lots of varied seating, both indoor and outdoor. See warning sign in my pics (haha). As far as prices, they are in line with any other places, as far as these other reviews that said it is excessively expensive, not true. Lunches are $15-20. Apps are a little pricey. Nice beer selection in the $8 ish range. Forgot I wanted to get a pan dessert, next time. I paid using InKind and got a nice discount.
