I need to give a moment of silence for the queso, it was soooo good! I could have had a massive bowl of that and been happy. It was amazing! When I tell you that I love this place , I'm not just saying it. I ordered the pork Ribeye meal and it was flawless. The ribeye was juicy and so flavorful and the Demi glaze was out of this world this! I was in town for two days and I had the same meal twice! It was that good. First time at a Two Stones Pub. Went with my partner. Thursday night the place was not too busy. I appreciate the happy Buddah statue decor near the entrance; it give the palce a unique and fun flare. The TVs around Us were showing video games and poker which was great for me since I don't really watch sports. They are also doing a food drive since I saw a box with cans in it. Not sure how long they're doing it though. As I took a look at the menu - at first glance it seems like a standard American bar menu with burgers, fries, nachos, salads, wings, and sandwhiches, but upon further reading I noticed the ingredience are a bit diffrent. This is where it really stands out. Subtle changes to some classic foods really shines at this place. Example: PeeBee & Jay Burger/Dirty Kettle Chips Overall we had a pleasant experience at this place and really feels like we could be regulars. Service is good, food is good, drinks, good, and portion sizes are excellent. (2) Alcoholic beverages, (1) appitizer, and (2) entrees. Bill came out to about $61. (Not including tip) Shout out to our server JASON. He was very attentive, we watched him keep that same energy with the other tables around us. Very honest and knowledgeable about the menu. Sweet potatos weren't very sweet but that was fine with me since I generally don't eat sweet potatos. These were propbably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Fish Tacos with a side of garden salad with Herb Vinegrett dressing - Fish Tacos were good. the sauce was spicy, a lot spicier than I expected. Fish was well fried and good size. It didn't have a fishy taste to them so it felt fresh. The Herb Vinegrett dressing was sooooo goooood. I wish i had more of it. I can't even describe it other than it was so good. Chopped Santa Fe Salad with requested Jerked Chicken - Chicken was well cooked and juicy. Just the right amount of dressing and chicken. Ratio of sauce to salad was well balanced. My family is in town for a college tour. We were looking for a restaurant. Two Stones Pub is literally in the parking lot of the hotel we're staying in. Ended up being a fantastic coincidence. We were seated right away and the restaurant filled in soon thereafter. Our waitress was very nice and dealt with all of my questions professionally. We sat at a nice spacious high top. We shared delicious bbq boneless wings and pretzels for appetizers. I also had a wonderful carrot bisque from the specials menu. The depth of flavor in the bisque was impressive. I selected the Spring Risotto for an entree. Believe me, I was tempted by the range of burgers but ended up tremendously happy with the risotto. The texture was perfect, the pea flavor was excellent, nicely loaded up with ham, and topped with a nice portion of burrata. Really an awesome entree! Glad we ended up at Two Stone Pub! read more

Food great. Servers great. Bartender who worked 9.30 on 01.17 is known by my company and my old company to be rude and dismissive of black people. Fact. I've attempted to come her multiple times with or without people and sit at the bar to have a meal or order together. I always tip at least 20% (even when she truly doesn't deserve it). I have never gotten a coaster with my drink. I have never been greeted first or with a smile. I see her greet and speak to every other party differently. This last instance, I left the gym and stopped here after not coming back here for ALMOST A YEAR because of her horrible attitude towards me that's completely unwarranted. I wanted a salad and mash potatoes to go and have a beer at the bar. The food of people all around me came out upwards of 20 minutes before I got my SALAD AND SIDE. She either didn't ring it in or out wanted it to sit considering the mash potatoes were COLD when I checked in my car. I recommend management, check the cameras, check my ticket - I barely spoke to her. I tried to smile and converse to place my drink order but she had already ignored me and moved onto another guest before I could say anything before doubling back. I'll continue to come and sit at tables but I recommend any non-male people of color to avoid the bar here. read more

Nice big menu with lots of delicious options, and lots of good local(ish) beers to get your Happy Hour or weekend started. Friend and I opted to try a bunch of different appetizers so we could sample more of the menu. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, but we got to try two of the tacos -- the Carolina pulled pork was delicious and easily our favorite. The Mexicali chorizo was just a little dried out, even though the corn and bean salsa it was topped with was delicious. We devoured our hot and spicy cheese fries -- that queso blanco is just *chefs kiss* -- but left enough room to give the cheeseboard a try. It seemed a little pricey at $25 but when we saw the size of the whole thing, we understood. The meats were nothing to write home about, but every cheese we tried was more delicious than the last, and it paired so well with the jam and honey that we were very happy campers. We somehow managed to enjoy some local brews in addition to all that food - I'd never tried Big Oyster before (a super smooth stout), and the two Two Stones brews I tried were all decent - Up and Out IPA was as juicy as advertised and Cold Cock IPA was pretty crushable. Atmosphere was crowded but friendly, and service was quick and attentive. Will definitely be adding this spot to my rotation when I'm in town. read more

Well, I think we found a new spot in Newark to take my father when we visit. He actually suggested it and after viewing the menu and the photos, we decided to give it a try last Tuesday. We arrived for a late lunch / early dinner. There is ample parking and the restaurant is located right off I-95 near the Christiana mega mall. The interior is has a sports bar - craft beer bar tavern feel to it. They have a selection of their own craft beers and, if I'm not mistaken, they may operate a brewery at another site. They have a nice selection of beers, wines and do offer cocktails. The menu is extensive with appetizers, soups, salads, handhelds, and entrees. They do offer daily lunch and dinner specials. And, they do change some of the items on the menu to go with the seasons. I ordered the roasted Brussel Sprouts appetizer. It was fried with a soy sauce dressing with tograshi, cilantro and garlic. The sauce on the side of the plate was a siracha aioli. It all went together great. It was different and I think I need to try and make this at home. My sister went with the Beets n Sweets that comes with mesclun greens, roasted beets, diced sweet potatoes, onions, artisanal blue cheese, walnuts and black cherry kombucha dressing. She said it was delish. I had a small portion and I concurred. She took most of it home. My dad actually got TWO orders by mistake. Anyway, he wanted the BLT salad and was given the Chicken Sandwich BLT. it was a communication error partially on him and maybe the waitress. No big deal. They also made the BLT salad and he actually ate 2/3s of both. Both dishes looked really good. I'll just say that he liked both of them. The kettle chips and pickle that came with the sandwich didn't stand a chance. I went with the Hudson Valley Foie Gras Burger with the truffle fries (which is an up charge). It was delicious. It was probably one of the best burgers I have had in awhile. The fries were tasty and crisp. No ketchup needed for them. My sister got the chorizo (meatless) tacos. FYI, they do offer vegetarian and vegan substitutions on some of the menu items. The tacos looked really good. She said they were slightly spicy and had a nice overall kick to them. I've never had a meatless chorizo taco, however, next time I just might. I forgot to mention that I tried their 2SP Bogey golden ale and checked in on Untapped. it gets a good review there (3.5). It had a nice, light and crisp taste and it complemented the appetizer and burger that I ordered. This location just opened by my house and I'm happy that I went to try it out. The atmosphere is very laid back. Not too loud, at least when I went. I was greater upon arrival. There wasn't any wait. I sat in the bar area which I was seated in pretty quickly upon arrival. My waitress was AMAZING! Her name was Z (I don't want to misspell her name ‍). Her personality was awesome, very knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. My friend ordered The Leon burger and I had the Sweet Heat wings. THE BURGER WAS HUGE. I like their beer. We do a lot of breweries. But my family has a somewhat but not completely unique situation. My wife is allergic to gluten. We knew 2SP had a lame moniker on many items, "gluten friendly" which means the ingredients don't contain gluten, but we'll fry it or roll it around in gluten. We had to go here for an event tonight but we won't return. As most other restaurants have evolved to offer some simple solutions, 2SP refuses to evolve. Just wipe a counter, add a GF bun and whalla your GF menu is born. There is so many good options out there and this food is average. So we will avoid this one. There are a ton of places that offer craft beers and a mature menu. Good beer. Food prices a bit ahead of the quality but food is good and menu has some variety. read more

I have avoided this place for a few years due to them for reasons that escape me...not having take out during COVID...we stayed at a hotel steps away and were at a loss when they said they didn't do take out...now this was during the part of COVID when restaurants could open as long as they used all the proper restrictions...but they now do take out so we thought we'd try them. Well...if you use the app and want to make some custom orders...forget it. The app won't let you do it. That almost sealed the deal for us...but we decided to just go and eat there and NOT do the take out. But we were concerned that they might not let us customize orders. We get there and sure enough we can customize anything we want. The staff was shocked to learn of the problem on the apps, and said they'd look into it. They indicated that normally people just call and they can customize anything at all. With THAT out of the way...I have to say they have really good food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Not the GREATEST selection of beer for a Pub, but still okay. I'll no longer avoid this place and happily enjoy their food when I'm staying steps away. read more

Food is good and prices are reasonable. Have been there several times while staying in the area. We had a bad experience with one server on one night, but the rest of the time we had no problems with service. Be aware that some restrictions on sides apply if you order from the Taco Tuesday menu. Also know that your server may try to upsell you. We were unknowingly upsold to a more expensive side on two occasions. But I'll still go back, I'll just order carefully and ask about prices if the server suggests a substitution.
