I like that the the food is consistently good and the drinks are phenomenal. No misses, always a hit. I really enjoyed their Ribs recently and you can't go wrong with their burgers. Use to get the Salmon all the time and that is also a solid good dish! Hooked on one of their drinks right now "The Art of Fire!" Corazon Tequila, in house spice Mango Syrup, Lemon Juice and some Tajin on the rim...Fire me up Baby!

I'll start this review by saying if not for Kyle, I would have rated this place 2 stars. Although my opinion of the food is important; customer service will always be a deciding factor on if I recommend a place or if I choose to return. Thanks to the OVER THE TOP service Kyle provided me and my sister this evening, I will be sure to return and recommend this specific location to everyone I know. We called ahead to check if there was a wait time and was told no. Although the restaurant was beautiful + clean and we were seated immediately, it felt like forever before we were greeted and waited on. We sat for over 20 mins before my sister got frustrated and went to the host booth to address the issue. All of the tables around us were being serviced but for some reason no one stopped to greet us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. Different waiters and waitresses walked by, looked us in the face, and said nothing. Finally Kyle saw us, walked over, and asked if we had been waiting long. Initially we were told another waitress was assigned to our table, but because he felt so bad about the wait, he decided to take us on and boy was I glad he did. The phrase "Above and Beyond" does not begin to put into words the care he provided. He made recommendations, he was empathetic, he was quick, and wouldn't leave our table until we gave a seal of approval for everything we ordered. Now, lets talk about the food....it was worth the wait. We had the deviled eggs for start. They were so good. Perfect mixture of sweet and salty. The candy coated bacon really gives the egg that sweetness needed to match the egg filling that had a tangy taste to it from the mustard used it in. We both opted to get the 3 course meal. Cannot say I've dined many places that offer pre fix menues where I was satisfied with all the options offered. Most places put the stuff no one really wants on the pre fixed menu but not Firebirds, as the options offered were great! I had the caesar salad, sirlion (comes with parm mashed potatoes and a veggie), and creme brulee cheesecake. Everything was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. Easy to cut through and seasoned to perfection. So perfect, I didn't even need steak sauce! The mashed potatoes were good as well. The star of the show was the cheesecake. It was amazing. I even got a chance to try my sisters bread pudding, which was amazing as well. To drink, I tried the double black diamond martini and the pineapple paradise. I usually order a lemon drop wherever I go but Kyle challenged me to try something different and recommended the black diamond martini. I'm glad he did because it was soooooo good. Its one of those drinks that taste kinda sweet but sneaks up on you after a few sips. Everything we ordered was literally amazing. Management even came over to check on us after Kyle told him what happened, which sealed the deal for us. We will definately be returning here soon.

Here's how to turnaround a bad experience: This as written was going to be 3 star sub par review. It gets a 4 for how our experience ended. As excited & pleased as we were first time we came a couple weeks ago, today was not good. I'm not sure if it was that we were a bigger party (5 people instead of 2) or if our server was spread too thin, because we didn't see her much at all. Very long periods of time passed before she entered the room we were in, for us or anyone else. It took forever for me to get a beer. All other drinks took long but not as long (soda). My draft beer took 30 minutes. We were seated in the room all the way in the back. More for larger parties. It was really loud. Liked the other dining area better, but we are a party of 5. At this point, we have been seated over an hour now and still waiting for our meals. The waitress did apologize and say it wouldn't be much longer, but it was. Read my first review, i was excited to bring my family here. When our meals finally arrived, my ribs were cold. Like they had been sitting a long while. No warmth at all. Sent back to please have a hot meal. In the meantime, one of us who had a medium steak cut into it to find it was rare. Red and not cooked at all except around edges. So once the waitress came back 20 minutes later with my hot meal, we sent back the steak. At this point we have been here 2 hours and all still have not received our meals. Here's where it turns for the better. A manager came over to apologize. We were politely honest about how bad tonight was..service & food being cold/not cooked properly. When the waitress brought our check, they took the steak AND the ribs OFF the bill!!! That's how to turn a bad experience into a positive. The food here is really good. I think it was just a bad night because the entire experience was the opposite of first time we came here.

Food was fresh and a good quantity. Service was attentive, the waitress did several touch-ins. It did take a little long to get our food. Ambiance was busy, and the lighting is pretty dark. I saw one patron using her phone to read the menu.

Well once again my son demonstrated his ability to identify an amazing place for us to eat. He and his girlfriend told us we needed to try Firebirds. Our group headed out on a Friday night. We numbered 6 and had no reservations. Knowing it was risky, we arrived around 7. At first we were told it would be a30 minute wait but we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server, Ivan, was awesome. He was courteous, helpful and attentive without being obtrusive. The appetizer were wonderful. We had the lobster spinach queso and the cheesesteak egg rolls. Highly recommend both (no pictures- had hungry folks). Everyone tried different cocktails. The Moscow mules were not a hit with either drinker, but the others were very well received. I had the charred pineapple agua fresca. It was a fun presentation of my usual water. The meals were great. You'll see from the pictures the variety. I had the Baja shrimp pasta but substituted the chimichurri portobello mushrooms. It was outstanding. Portion sizes were very generous and the pace of food delivery was perfect for us. For dessert the cheesecake and carrot cake were shared by the table. Oh so good! Recommend you check it out

Went for my burger dinner with family. Great food, ambiance and service. Best steak I've had!

Overall: the spot has a really cool vibe and good steaks. Get a reservation ahead of time or sit at the bar (no wait). One day we were in the area and craving steak so found this place through Yelp. when we pulled up, we noticed a group of people waiting outside and also in the space between the two front doors, and the vibe seemed really cool. However, there was an hour and a half wait to get seated at a table, but they said we could sit in the bar area, including the tables in the bar with full access to the menu so that's what we did! The service wasn't as fast as the main area I think but still pretty good. The complementary bread was on point and delicious with butter. We got the filet mignon with street corn and the filet mignon with au gratin potatoes. It was nice that the steaks came with a side. I got the mixed green salad. I have to say it was pretty weird. I don't recommend the salad, but the filet mignon was great: the bacon wrap around it added a lot of flavor.

We visited to celebrate a belated birthday and had a great time. We were initially seated in an area that was kinda chilly and they were gracious enough to reseat us in a section that was right in front of the kitchen. We had a great server (Abby) and had an opportunity to chat with Chef Jorge Garcia about the food and the flavors. He's very personable. We ordered appetizers and chose the prefix menu for dinner. The prefix is a great value and I appreciated it because I am a frequent restaurant week participant!! The Birthday girl was happy so it's a win/win!!! We have already scheduled to come back for happy hour and check out the bar and some other appetizers during that time!!! Thanks again for great birthday celebration.

My friend and I arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were quickly greeted and offered a beverage menu. Their cocktail options are creative and constantly changing, often featuring some unique foam toppers. On this particular occasion, I started with the Strawberry Kiwi Spice Margarita, which included some cardamom to add depth and warmth to the fruity drink. I also ordered the Apricot Ginger Sour, a consistent favorite bourbon cocktail with a little zing from the lemon foam on top. Both drinks were excellent. For starters, we selected a few of the fresh oysters as well as a scallop special made with a lemon beurre blanc. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and I was grateful the dish came with sourdough to sop up every last drop of that delicious beurre blanc. My entree was where things went awry. I tend toward pescetarian options and selected the lone fish on the menu that night: skate wing. My first few bites were great, though slightly oversalted. However, eventually the mouthfeel evolved into a burning, ammonia taste, and I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the dish. My friend who also had the skate wing, however, did not have that experience (and I tried a bite of hers to confirm, too!). I know skate wing can be tricky to prepare and this is a known potential issue, but it was disappointing. Luckily, dessert was fabulous once again --- we chose the coconut creme brulee which was delightful. I'm sure I'll be back. Just no skate wing for me!
