I have avoided this place for a few years due to them for reasons that escape me...not having take out during COVID...we stayed at a hotel steps away and were at a loss when they said they didn't do take out...now this was during the part of COVID when restaurants could open as long as they used all the proper restrictions...but they now do take out so we thought we'd try them. Well...if you use the app and want to make some custom orders...forget it. The app won't let you do it. That almost sealed the deal for us...but we decided to just go and eat there and NOT do the take out. But we were concerned that they might not let us customize orders. We get there and sure enough we can customize anything we want. The staff was shocked to learn of the problem on the apps, and said they'd look into it. They indicated that normally people just call and they can customize anything at all. With THAT out of the way...I have to say they have really good food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Not the GREATEST selection of beer for a Pub, but still okay. I'll no longer avoid this place and happily enjoy their food when I'm staying steps away. read more

I love the food at Two Stones! The Sunday brunch menu regularly changes and so do their specials. There's always plenty of vegetarian options. The beer is great and not too expensive. I like to sit at the bar. Service is fast! read more

My wife and I were on I-95 going to Virginia when we started to get hungry for dinner. Not wanting to stop at a rest area for horrible fast food, we did a search of Yelp for places near Wilmington, DE. This is an unassuming spot in a strip mall, which wasn't what we expected. Our server was awesome, very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations on the menu. Our food was really tasty and the craft beer selection was plentiful. They are a local chain / group but you wouldn't realize it. We'll definitely be making a stop here again. read more

Food is good and prices are reasonable. Have been there several times while staying in the area. We had a bad experience with one server on one night, but the rest of the time we had no problems with service. Be aware that some restrictions on sides apply if you order from the Taco Tuesday menu. Also know that your server may try to upsell you. We were unknowingly upsold to a more expensive side on two occasions. But I'll still go back, I'll just order carefully and ask about prices if the server suggests a substitution. I like it that they have the option of ordering a 9 oz pour for wine, it helps keep the cost down vs. ordering a second glass of wine. read more

Nice menu, but definitely check your bill before you leave. A couple of times, Two Stones has charged for the full price of a side dish when I clearly said to sub a side dish at the advertised price. Watch out when you're paying cash too -- it's pretty typical of restaurants in this area to short you on the change. Thank God and Mrs. Malone of Oak Grove Elementary School that I can add and subtract in my head. read more

My next visit to Two Stones Pub was fantastic! I had the Hudson Valley burger and truffle fries, both phenomenal. I tried a seasonal draft because I felt adventurous tonight. Their "Up Up and Away" brew is really nice. Great fruity scent with a mild dry feeling, surprisingly a great thirst quencher. Overall another lovely experience and I can't wait for my next visit! read more

We have never been to any of the Two Stones Pubs but always hear good things. We saw they had brunch on Sunday and we were interested. We arrived around 12:30 and there weren't a lot of people. We misunderstood the Facebook page saying the brunch items would be posted but we didn't see anything brunchy. it seems Two Stones brunch doesn't have breakfast, which is fine for me because usually get something lunchy, but RJ always gets breakfast. He said my face looked so disappointed. However, we decided to try the Totcho, tater tots with queso and tomatoes and jalapeno, and RJ ordered the burger with PB and j and pork belly. I went with the chicken salad sandwich with arugula, brie, and sweet potato. All of the food was fantastic except for the 3.95 upgrade of fries. They were terrible and I'll stick with kettle chips next time. We were drinking Kiwi Beermosas. I don't like beer but I couldn't even taste it as it was mixed with Kiwi puree and prosecco. Isabella was our bartender and she was excellent. She was friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back for sure to work our way through the rest of the menu. read more

No way! I stopped in here thinking I would just get a beer and a sandwich. I perused the beer list and menu, and quickly discovered this was a money trap. While I thought the drinks were heftily priced, the food was much worse. Looking for just a quick bite, I looked at the burgers section of the menu. $16 for a burger dwarfs the average price you'll find in your typical Philly or NYC gastropub. No way. I just drank my drink (which, in itself, was overpriced) and split. I'll go to Burger King and get a Whopper for $7 rather than get reamed here. Suckers are born every minute, as Barnum said. I'm not one of them. Just an aside: ever notice that most of the Yelp Elite reviews, which get placed above the rest of us, seem to be 4 or 5 star? You can't tell me there isn't something fishy here. Kind of like pay to play, maybe? read more

What a great little spot. We were greeted immediately at the door and seated. We just missed the lunch crowd. Staff was attentive and great about refilling our water. Menu seemed diverse which caught our attention. And love love love the GF options! We opted for the double dog... hot dog with chorizo beef chili top on a pretzel roll, pickle and side of sweet potato fries... it looked good and my husband said it was delicious! I had a bun less classic burger with a side of Brussels sprouts, yum! We would definitely try this place again. We look forward to trying other menu options that caught our attention. read more

Love the food and atmosphere at Two Stones. The wings are awesome and the best fish tacos! Prices are great too !

We have been dining at Two Stones for about four years. Pre pandemic I believe. Anyway, we always went to the location on Naaman's Road. The service was always very good and the food was amazing. We have recently moved to the Newark area so of course we went to the Newark location on Route 273. Unfortunately the service and the food was less than impressive. Our server was rude and my husband's entree was missing food. My burger was overcooked and tasteless. We won't be visiting the Newark location again. read more

It really depends what you get. Burgers are awesome - I got the veggie burger but with a beef patty and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries are decent but I've had better, while regular fries are McDonald's-like. I also got the pear cocktail which was good, but the cucumber cocktail was way too sweet with too much symple syrup. My friend got a chicken tandoori salad in a pita bread which was ok. read more

My wife, kids, and I tried this location a year or so after it opened. We had been to other locations, and enjoyed our visit so we figured we would check out this one. We waited over ten minutes for a waitress to come and take our drink orders. Other tables were being served who had come in after us, but we were left sitting there. We finally walked out, because we felt like they couldn't care less about serving us. You begin to assume things when you see other tables being served and your table isn't - I would hate to think that it had something to do with the fact that I'm white and my wife is black, but who knows. Regardless of why we weren't served, we have decided that we will not patronize any of the Two Stone's locations. I can get good service at any number of other local pubs and micro breweries. read more

Was traveling on business in Delaware and one was right across the street from my hotel. It's a mini chain with its own brewery that supports all its locations. Happy hour was from 4 to 6. I had three delicious hazy IPAs, and two appetizers and left with a bill of $23. Set at the bar and service was excellent. read more

We saw the name as we were driving by and said to each other why do we know it. Couldn't figure it out but decided to stop in on our way back for a late lunch. Typical modern pub like settling and we were seated immediately. Server came right over for our drink order. (I did not know this was a pretty much a craft beer place). None of the descriptions of the craft beers sounded appealing so I went with an allagash. Beer was not much above room temperature. Ordered the dumplings and the short rib poppers. The sauce on the poppers was tasty but that was it. Her dumplings were still rawish. Was not a good meal at all and came back to haunt us less than an hour later. Won't be coming back, that's for sure. read more

OK I was down this way and stopped for a burger and fries, the following picture is the burger that I got I ordered it medium he brings me this out that is burnt more like a hockey puck, I've never seen a burger this well done, I take one bite and almost broke my teeth, so I said dude really? Manager came over and said oh my God let me get you another one, she said she talk to the chef and will make sure that I get the proper burger, I hate when people loosely Use that term, there's no way in hell there was a chef back there with a culinary degree, someone cooked this and let it go that way thinking it wouldn't be sent back, I finally got the burger that I ordered the second time around it was done as it should, the whole process took an hour and 40 minutes, never again read more

Went to lunch with a friend, so the company good! Not impressed with this place at all. Had a chicken sandwich on gluten free roll, worth a side salad. The chicken was ok but the roll was cold & stale. Honestly the best thing on my plate was the pickle on the side. The atmosphere also needs improvement. I would not go back. read more

Food is mediocre and so does the drink! My husband and I wanted to try this place on Valentine's Day. We tried their cocktails it's hhmmmkaaayy. For appetizers we tried the spicy fries. It's basically frozen fries showered with cheap hot sauce. We tried their brunch menu and it was mediocre. I ordered eggs over medium, my eggs does not look like over medium. It's overcooked! My 13 years old can cook better than this. Our waitress didn't even gave us silverwares, we had to ask. I don't think we'll ever come back here again. Worst first experience ever! read more

This place was one of the late night eats and their late menu did not disappoint. I had the fish tacos (3) and it was very good. Juicy and well cooked. The server was New but she was thorough in getting us exactly what we needed when we needed it and there were 10 of us. Props to her! The ambiance was great. Highly recommend for a late night. This is my second Two Stores (does that make it four stones? lol) and this one is just as good as the one off Naamans Road. There is a "front" room that has tables and the bar and they have a "back" room that is just tables. I was seated in the back room as I specifically asked the hostess for a table near a power outlet. Great beer list and a really good variety of food choices on the menu plus a changing list of specials. I wanted "healthy" and so I went with the pan-seared salmon, which was served with some steamed spinach and other veggies on top of a mile of mashed potatoes. Very tasty, I ate the whole thing and nearly licked the plate. Yep, that good. Service was good, the food was hot and tasty, and the restaurant was comfortable. I would return! read more

Two Stones sits in Chesmar Plaza, next to a Subway and a Great Clips, across the street from a Dairy Queen, a Wendy's and a Taco Bell. The location is unassuming, indicating little of the excellent pub within. Such austere locales, indeed, can produce the greatest of venues. This is a gastropub that knows how to do the job well. One could infer as much from their number of locations, and in that they brew some of their own beers. Entering the building, after parking either in one of the spots directly out front or in the larger lot for the greater strip, the bar is in front on the left, with booths to the right, and, around the back, bathrooms to the left, and an additional dining area to the right. Though it seems quite cozy when it gets packed, there is actually quite a bit of space. The beer selection is shrewd, showcasing both local brews of merit and craft beers from far away. They have a good few wines as well, and rest assured that they can whip up decent cocktails, too. Happy hour brings the beer prices down another notch, and the accompanying menu makes some of their finer appetizers a little cheaper. The truffle fries are essentially, particularly when welcoming newcomers to the joint. They cook great hamburgers, and it's always worth asking about the burger of the day. Taco Tuesday is a great time to sample their South of the Border experiments, and just about anything else off the menu is sure to impress. Two Stones is great. read more

The environment is nice, but the food is quite bland. We ended up settling for the fried ravioli, which the salsa was bland. Then the food came and my wife picked the caesar salad, which was bland and had charred chicken that cost an extra $8.00. The caesar dressing was bland and tasted like mayonnaise. Not sure how can mess up caesar dressing but they did just that...Ended up paying $51 for 4 small raviolis, 3 veggie tacos and a small caesar salad with added chicken. If the food had more flavor and the menu was a bit bigger and diverse it would be worth it, but as is not so much. On the positive side, the server was delightful, but flavor was just not there. Also too overpriced, kinda a millennial place, but just not for me. read more

Excellent local pub which is a spinoff of the 2 Stones Brewery from PA. This place is always packed with locals especially on a Friday during happy hour. This time we happened to actually not have to wait for a table. The sevice was great and food came out pretty quickly. AND it was deliscious. The food and beer is always outstanding. The food is also creative, unique, and fun. I had the chorizo chile and a harvest salad and was quite pleased. read more

This place is great and I don't even drink. My family of four get take out from 2SP at least twice a month. We usually get the Foie Gras Burger with arugula and fig jam on brioche bun. The Brussels Sprouts app is delicious. Fried (not breaded) till almost crisp and tossed in a soy glaze. Served with an awesome Sriracha Mayo. The loaded nachos are my kids favorite. Pulled Pork Sandwich is very good too. I'm alcohol free, but their beer selection is pretty strong as well. Sad they took scrapple fries off the menu. read more

The food and drinks were good. The service and managers were absolutely nasty. We came in and the entire staff was clearly angry we were there, then moved us. The server who moved our table then tore the menus out of our hands, shushed us, and was absolutely unprofessional and nasty. The manager then came over and was entirely rude, unprofessional, and downright nasty. Unfortunate given that the food is pretty good. Won't be returning here and making sure my family and friends don't come to receive this absolutely nasty and poor treatment as well. Despicable. read more
