Victoria Gastro Pub is a nice spot to grab a few drinks. I liked their selection of drinks and actually tried a type of beer I've never had before. The food is typical bar food and wasn't anything to rave about in my opinion. A hamburger and a beer what a great way to spend a football Sunday.

The ambience is quiet nice, Service also was good. Fast and helpful and friendly... Food was ok but I was expecting the fried oysters a bit more tasty and a bit crispy... Mozeralla pearls was ok

Came in for a quick lunch with my family. I've been here before, and both the food and service were pretty good. The service was quick, and our server was friendly. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is a good place to host events. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The last time I visited, I ordered the crispy chicken biscuit, and it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

All of the food was delicious. Each meal had good flavor, good portions, and good happy hour deals. Victorias is a great place for a dinner out, date night, or any kind of occasion. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The chocolate pecan cake was absolutely fantastic. My only complaint is that the kids menu is not for kids. Looking at the menu the options are fine, but the pizza uses spicy sauce, the chicken nuggets are overly crispy and adult-ish, and the fish and chips is just a smaller portion of the adult version. The fish is overly identifiable for a kid. Perhaps this is my picky eaters, but the kids menu is for a near adult kid in my opinion.

It's been a while since I've had a Sunday-Funday. Was looking to go out with some friends but ended up having a solo Sunday. Since I came out pretty late I went to Victoria Gaston Pub for Happy Hour. It's a nice size restaurant with a cool bar area. On Sundays they also have Breakfast from 10am-2pm and Happy Hour from 2pm-Close. A few things I tried were the Banana Pie Waffles: Really good, but Really Really Sweet. Recommend sharing or getting a side of bacon to break the sweetness with something salty. Crab stuffed Deviled Eggs: more like of Crab topped deviled eggs. Really good filling and the Oldbay chips are a good topping. Cafe Victoria Brunch Cocktail, it's a hot drink.. it doesn't say that on the menu. It's good but I would order it at the end of my meal as a dessert Cocktail because it's sweet. The Port Authority was my favorite of the cocktails. It's Bourbon, Tawny Port, Cherry Brandy. Alcohol taste with a bit of sweetness. If you're an Old Fashioned fan and want to try something different but not too far off I think this is a good one to try. The bartender let me try the Nitro Espresso Martini as it's in tap. Tasty but basic Espresso Martini to me. Things I want to try on my next visit: Dubai Chocolate Tart, Pancake Charcuterie, Duck Fat Reuben, Mocha Boulevardier Cocktail ... it's Rye based and the Pear & Honey N/A Mule. I feel bad because I only remember one bartenders name... Jason.. both were great, but hes a great bartender.. Friendly, makes good drinks, not too over bearing but attentive...ask for him when you visit.

Finally stopped into Victorias on a weekend this winter! It's right by the house I moved into and I'm so excited about being in proximity to this establishment! The restaurant interior feels like a tavern, lots of wood but tasteful decor and a homey vibe. The bar is spacious and they've made the dining room feel more private with dividers which I liked. The bathrooms were clean! The mozzarella balls were delicious and the portion was massive. After 8 cheese balls I barely had room for my dinner! My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and I liked my sandwich. Our server was attentive and the food came out pretty fast! I'd love to return as I know they have some great beers and ciders on tap! Can't wait to try more of their expansive menu.

It's a nice pub. Pretty busy for weekday. Food and service were great. Oysters just so perfect. Fresh. And meaty. Salad with steak - steak cooked just how i liked it. Grits with shrimp looked delicious on my partners plate. Def a cool spot for a simple dinner/ lunch.

Off the bat, the interior is super cute. It's more spacious than it appears from the outside, and had strong Victorian theming. They say you can tell how good a restaurant is based off of their simplest dish. The mozzarella pearls were absolutely delicious. The bread-to-cheese ratio was just right, and their portions were generous. If anything, the sauce was slightly too sweet, but I think it complemented the pearl's seasoning well. I got the oysters Rockefeller and I think they might be the best I've had in Maryland. They fell right off the shell and they weren't gritty. They truly took care while cleaning. My partner got a latte, the cucumber melon refresher, and I got the basil buck. They were super well, balanced, and indeed extremely refreshing. You taste the freshness of the fruit they used in both drink, but no alcohol (which I prefer). For entrees, I got the turkey avocado sandwich and upgraded to duck fat fries, and my partner got victoria's fish and chips. my partner said that for the price, the portions were a bit small and the fish was greasy, heavier than they would have liked. For me, the turkey avocado was tasty, however, it was a little too much meat for me and I found it hard to finish. I fear, that the fries have now changed my life, and I will never be able to eat regular fries again. The duck fat made them feel less greasy than normal, they were seasoned well and definitely addicting! I'll be back, and when I do, I'm beelining for the poutine.

This place is great. They have an amazing menu that has some seasonal offerings as well. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is relaxed while giving an upscale pub feel. I got the fish sandwich and it was to die for. I've had other dishes that have been tasty here too and when I am in the area I always consider stopping by.

I used to frequent VCP when I worked nearby, and haven't been back for a few years. We were in the area doing a little shopping and I was really excited to stop in for lunch over the weekend! The inside decor is gorgeous, the dark wood gives it a warm, cozy, timeless feel, and the decorations make you feel like you're in a palace - especially those big wooden doors leading to the patio area. Our service was a little on the slow side but our server was super friendly and attentive. It was a weekend and not super packed, so we were happy to sip our espresso martinis and wait a bit. For lunch, I had the American Dip and absolutely loved it. It was a twist on a French dip with a delicious pesto, the bread was delicious and not too crunchy, and the meat was super tender. My husband had the Angus Black Burger with all the fixings and bleu cheese and he crushed it, it was barely on his plate before it was gone. Love VCP and the food is some of the best American you'll find in the area!

1/2 baked with hot-honey sauce with waffles, and cream spinach.

It has been a minute since I have visited Victoria's Gastro Pub. The bar is fully stocked and there is a generous dining area. On this visit, I tried the hot-honey baked 1/2 chicken with waffles and cream spinach. The chicken was tender and juicy. The hot-honey glaze had a little heat and was sweet. The waffle with honey or syrup was an unexpected nice touch. The creamy spinach was to creamy from me. In all, the meal was great and that 1/2 chicken was awesome.

Nitro Espresso Martini, Jasmine & Blanco, and Hollywood.
Darren M.

Our server Kyle was very attentive to us even in a busy setting and served us fantastic drinks (in picture). The Hollywood was delicious and definitely did the job. The music was at the perfect volume for conversation too and the bar area looked clean. Will come more often for martinis on Tuesdays (they're half off!)

This place used to be my stomping ground for HH and dinner. However, the quality of food ain't as good as it used to be. These are just two pictures I saved but I've had numerous meals where it wasn't the same. Service is always good and ambiance is still nice. I think they need to upkeep the quality of food to compete with some other nice restaurants

Is there a rental fee to use the private dining room? I have a group of 20-30. Is it individual orders from the menu or must we have a set catering menu?

Thank you for the inquiry! We do not charge a rental fee for private rooms. Instead, we have a food and beverage required minimum in order to close to room. This amount changes based on time and day of the week. We can offer an "off menu" event,…

Is there a relatively quiet area where a conversation can take place? Too many places these days play loud music that then you can no longer here in the din of the conversation, but makes it almost impossible to hear each other.

Yes, I think you can find a quiet table there. Either in the dining room or outside tent, as long as you're not seated near the bar.

Is parking nearby? Menu looks great, but one member of the party has walking problems. Do have handicap placard.

There's parking around the restaurant, and handicapped spaces near the front door.

Is there a dress code? Is it casual?

Casual is fine

Do you charge gratuity on takeout?

No to my knowledge.

Do they have Vegan options?

Yes, their menus are online, but they have salads and a veggie sandwich. I'm sure they have more if you check their website.

Do you guys have good gluten free options?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. We have a few menu items that are already gluten free or a quick sub/alteration can make them so (like no croutons on a salad). We also have gluten-free buns that can be substituted on any of our burgers or…

I see vegan options listed but I'm having trouble finding any on the menu. What vegan options do you offer?

We have a few menu items that are already vegan or a quick sub/alteration can make them so (like no cheese on a salad). Other items can also be modified to meet your needs as most of our food is made from scratch on demand (aside from some sauces…

Does it get really loud at dinner time?

I've never had trouble hearing my party during dinner, and we have been there weekends. It's nice that there are different things so that helps keep the noise level down.

When does the kitchen close?

Hi! Sun - Thurs: we stop serving dinner at 10PM. And stop serving our Late Night Bar Menu at…

Do they have regular fries? I'm a vegetarian and love fries, so obviously I don't want the duck fat fries.

Yes... we have regular fries (just fried in peanut oil and seasoned. no duckfat) that come with our sandwiches! Just tell your server your dietary needs and they'll be happy to accommodate you. Hope to see you soon.

They both was very good match with my cocktail taste! I like the food too! Calamari, truffle fries, edamame, rolles, chicken tenders,... all was tasty. The tour about the how they make Vodka, gin, Baijiu process was pretty impressed. They make all these drinks right behind the bulilding... By the way the most unique and different thing for me was BAIJIU! This is the first time I heard and tast! It's strong and tasty. The an other most important thing was, I was the winner for the event! I won the bottle of Oversea Baijiu. Because of my video that I share at instagram I am glad Oversea Distillery and Bar only 10 minutes away from my house! BAIJIU: (pronounced bye-jyo) is a traditional, clear Chinese distilled spirit. Literally translating to "white liquor," it is typically distilled from fermented grains like sorghum, rice, or wheat and ranges from 35% to 60% ABV. As the world's most consumed spirit, it boasts a history spanning millennia How It's MadeUnlike most Western spirits, baijiu relies on qu, a unique starter culture of crushed grains packed with active molds and yeasts. This culture simultaneously converts grain starches into sugars and ferments those sugars into alcohol--a process called solid-state fermentation. The mash is then traditionally distilled in clay or stone pots. Just like wine or whiskey, baijiu isn't a single flavor. It is categorized into four primary styles, though many sub-varieties exist: Strong Aroma: Sweet and pungent with fruity and spicy notes (e.g., Wuliangye). Sauce Aroma: Complex and savory, often likened to soy sauce, fermented vegetables, or dark chocolate (e.g., Kweichow Moutai). Light Aroma: Crisp, clean, and floral, similar to sake or high-end vodka. Rice Aroma: Mild, slightly sweet, and floral, closely resembling other Asian grain spirits like shochu.

Consider this a first impression with a follow-up visit already planned. What I can say is that the vibe is exactly what it promises a classic dive bar, local hangout energy that feels lived in and comfortable the moment you walk in. The kind of place where you can decompress after a long day, with good music playing. For a large party the staff handled us well attentive, quick and never made us feel like an inconvenience which is not always a given at a bar on a busy night. The layout works in everyone's favor too. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating meant the crowd spread naturally and it never felt overwhelming or cramped despite the number of people. Nottingham is a vibe and I'm looking forward to returning for the full experience food included.

Our waitress referred to my friend and me as "gals." I politely expressed that I did not appreciate being addressed that way and asked that she refrain from using the term. Instead of simply acknowledging my request, she questioned why I found it offensive while displaying what I perceived as a dismissive smirk. She also stated that she was the only waitress on duty and the only person who could assist me, despite my observing other waitresses working at the bar. As a Black woman, I should not have to explain or defend how I prefer to be addressed. A simple request for respect should never escalate into a confrontation. When I requested to speak with a manager, rather than having my concerns addressed professionally, security guards approached us and instructed us to pay our tab and leave. We had only ordered two Cutwater drinks and had not even finished them. I explained that if we were being asked to leave, I intended to finish my drink. I was then told I could leave. To make matters worse, the manager did not approach us until I specifically asked whether he intended to speak with us. When he finally did, I felt that he showed little to no concern, empathy, or interest in understanding what had occurred. What exactly did we do wrong? Ask to be treated respectfully? Request to speak with management? We were not being threatening or disruptive. Yet we were made to feel as though we had done something wrong simply because I expressed discomfort with how we were addressed. As a Black woman and a loyal customer, this experience left me feeling singled out, disrespected, embarrassed, and unwelcome. I genuinely question whether another customer expressing the same concern would have received the same treatment. I have consistently supported this establishment, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Customer service is not just about serving food and drinks. It is about treating every customer with dignity, respect, and professionalism, even when they express a concern. I hope ownership takes this incident seriously, reviews how it was handled, and addresses the conduct of the employees involved. No customer should be made to feel that standing up for themselves or requesting basic respect is grounds for being asked to leave. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed how I view an establishment I once enjoyed supporting.

My wife and I decided to check out the speakeasy upstairs. I wish they had longer hours; as of this writing, they are only open from 8:00 p.m. until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Does that exclusivity add to the mystique? A bit, yes? Does that make it less likely for me to return any time soon? Also yes. The ladies behind the bar and the owner were upstairs chilling and greeted us as soon as we ascended the steep staircase. The dimly-lit Chambers has a lot more space to sit than I had anticipated, so you could come with a bunch of friends. There are tables, but also couches and lounge chairs. True to the speakeasy vibe, they have a bunch of signature cocktails, but they also make classic cocktails and likewise serve wines and beer. We had hoped to get a little food. It's mostly small-plates of food to pick at. The charcuterie plate sounded good, but the one bartender said it would take 15-20 minutes to prepare (surprising, because we were the only ones in there) and we had already kept our babysitter waiting too long, so we just did drinks. I got one of the seasonal signatures - the "What'd I say?" which had a citrusy boozy thing going for it, sort of reminiscent of a Sidecar. My wife got something warm, like an apple toddy. It was a bit too sweet for me, but otherwise tasted great! As mentioned, I wish they had longer hours. They've only been open two years, so maybe someday they'll expand beyond late-night on the weekend. But more folks came in as my wife and I wrapped up our evening, so maybe it's as sustainable level of popular for now. If you like cocktails and a speakeasy vibe, definitely check this place out.
