Good service. Plenty of seating. Typical bar food. Chicken tenders with fries- fries on the salty side. Wings were good but on the sweet side. Mushroom Risotto - not a good choice.

So excited to find this spot! Another date night in Columbia and we gave Frisco Taphouse a try. So glad we did. There are two sections of the building. One side is the restaurant with a larger menu and quieter atmosphere. There is a large bar and a beautiful fish tank when you first go in. The stage area has black lighting so it is not very easy to take pictures of the items on the table haha On the other side is the Reckless Shepherd Brewery with a large stage for bands to play. We dropped in on a Tuesday night at 8:00pm and it was open mic night. There were two bands and three individuals that played both original music, and covers. One man played the electric guitar that took over the room! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and the music. As for the food and beers, we ordered the Loyally Blonde, Mellow Howl IPA, Fundido Pizza and the Jumbo Crab Pretzel. The pretzel was smothered in creamy jumbo lump crab dip and had a beautiful crust on the bottom that held up and never got soggy. The pizza had very fresh Pico de gallo and chorizo with a great crispy yet fluffy crust. We really loved the food we got and would absolutely go back to try more. I have a feeling the weekends would be packed with bigger known bands so make sure you go in before the music gets going.

So this is the restaurant side and there is another brewery side. Very typical bar food. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly. I had the March madness hotdog and the crab and pretzel dip. Again. Basic bar food but I would be back if in the area.

I've always really enjoyed Frisco's menu in that it offers as many veggie / pescetarian options as full fledged meat....and the new digs make this place even better. Love that the place looks updated, open, bright, fresh...but the vibe is very 'come as you are.' Tshirt to button down shirts: all good! Stand outs: - French onion soup. This is the real deal. No mix, not salty. Might even venture to say it's my fave in the area!! - Moroccan coffee. We accidentally had the brunch menu stuck in our dinner menu but glad we saw this to order it. It's a much smoother, lighter, delicious version of an Irish coffee Solid: -crab cake sandy: solid crab chunks!! Suggestions: - whipped feta app: thought it'd be lighter..might be more accurate to call it creamed feta (like the cream cheese texture it truly resembles)

    Scallop special

We had a friend visiting from MA and since we enjoyed lunch here the weekend before we thought we'd try dinner! There is plenty of space and they spread people out well. I got their scallop and Parmesan risotto special. It was really good! Although the scallops a bit small. R got the prime rib, which was good but would have been easier to deal with if it came on a real plate and wasn't placed on top of the mashed potatoes. Our friend got the tap house chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. Although stated on the menu we later realized, our waiter asked her if she wanted fries, onion rings, risotto or a side salad and she chose the salad. We were just surprised at the charge on the check with the way it was presented by the waiter. We had to wait about 20 minutes after our food and drink cups were cleared before we could ask for our check. Thank goodness you can pay with the QR code because we wanted to leave. Otherwise this would be 5 stars!

I really wanted to like this place as a new option for brunch but after two visits it's probably coming off that list. First visit chicken and waffles. The chicken was extra extra crispy as in overcooked and seemed to be more batter than chicken. Toast was served dry and we had to ask for butter. They don't offer jelly. Second visit Cajun breakfast skillet had no noticeable chorizo but was loaded with potatoes. So many that I just got tired of eating them. Again, our bread choice was served dry and we had to ask for butter. Would it be so difficult to just add it to the plate in the kitchen? There certainly was plenty of room on the plate for it.

I've been here for brunch and lunch. They have bottomless mimosas for brunch. The atmosphere is great and they have two sides; one more quiet side that's great for a date where you can chat easily and a more club looking side with games. The food has been great and so has the service. Not to mention that they have California burrito with French fries!!

Frisco- Columbia I would like to say it was just a Monday in the kitchen, but....... the restaurant week menu was a complete disaster. The soup was ridiculously salty, I got the shrimp as a mediocre substitute (salty breading) The whipped feta was ok, not whipped enough for my taste, huge chunks. My lamb lollipops was still alive and kicking (medium rare was beyond rare!)re-fired! But the glaze reduced down to ...... dare I say it...... Salty Gravy glued to a shingle!!! The salmon and crab cake was delicious. and then there is dessert...... the bread pudding was excellent (wish the sauce was in a container) as we got it to go..... Then the chocolate mousse ..... grainy, more like wet pudding and the ice cream is cheap and generic this is definitely not at the price point. It is a cavernous restaurant and bar, seemed clean and tidy, until.... The men's room didn't have hand soap in the dispenser there is fuzzy stuff growing on the intake vent above the handicapped stall. the hallway to the restroom had a sticky spot that tried to take my shoe. All of this and there was maybe 5 tables and a few people at the bar. It was a ghost town on the "fun" bar area. Although we tipped 20% Our server disappeared more than a few times, them meal them way longer that'd it should have , even with the other problems. Yes we got a visit from the manager for the lamb (baaaaaaaaa) issue. Nothing subtracted from the check or maybe a gift card to try them again in the future. Don't try to message them on FB, they look but don't say anything.

We went to checkout their new digs on Easter! Our bartender, Keith, was on his A game with drink and beer recommendations. We also went next door to take a look at The Reckless Shepard!

    Potato latkes with sour cream

I can only speak to the food i got delivered from Frisco and it was pretty good. I happened to notice on FB that they were advertising a birria weekend. Birria tacos, cheesesteaks, nachos, burritos. Having not sampled it yet, I got excited to try it out. Also ordered potato latkes cos why not? :p Food arrived packed well. Birria tacos came with consommé and it was delicious even warmed up after a delivery. The consommé really does make the tacos. The potato latkes came with sour cream and I had applesauce at home so that also made for a delicious meal, if eclectic between the two very different items we ordered. I hope they keep the birria tacos on their permanent menu! Also very good social media presence!

Liked the sleek decor and open ambience. They had 3 TVs at the bar to catch all the Sunday football games. It wasn't crowded as we were there between lunch and dinner. Very friendly bar tender/server. The beers we tried were good - the option for a beer flight was not available though. The crab dip appetizer I ordered was ok and I liked the presentation - not very crabby flavored though and a bit spicy. But the BEST was the campfire brownie dessert ... homemade brownie, vanilla ice cream, toasted marshmallow and a delicious chocolate drizzle ... not overly sweet and just perfect jn every way! That brownie is worth another visit and I will try entree item on the menu.

Seems like an easy fix. Anyway, we ordered a Philly Mushroom with old bay chips/drink and a Chicken Club with sweet potato chips/drink. We were given a table flag and we sat outside. Food came a few minutes later. Looked and tasted very good. The bread on the Club was nicely toasted, the aeoli was tasty and not too heavy and the chicken (decent portion) was pretty moist. My partner enjoyed the Philly Mushroom. Unfortunately, my partner received regular chips instead of Old Bay they requested. They don't like to complain, so they basically left them uneaten. I liked the sweet potato chips - really crisp with a good flavor. Nice size pickle wedge came with each sandwich. Very pleasant seating area outside. Fountain soda available with free refills.

Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

I had heard there could be a bit of a wait, which isn't surprising since this well-established market and deli draws not only local residents but also people from nearby businesses. I happened to be about 15 minutes away, so I placed my order through their website. By the time I arrived, I must have missed the lunch rush--there was no line, and it took just a couple more minutes for everything to be wrapped, packaged, and ready to go. The market itself is intriguing and packed with all sorts of house-made specialties and popular Italian brands. There were also plenty of brands I had never heard of, giving the place the feel of a little Italian countryside market. I can only dream of traveling to Italy someday, so for now, I'll happily get a little taste of Italy here! Parking: As mentioned, parking is very limited. The street alongside the shop was also undergoing some sort of construction during my visit, so be prepared for some roadside limitations. There is a small, intimate dining area with room for only about four tables, but I loved seeing the white-tablecloth treatment. It added such a warm and welcoming touch to what is otherwise a very busy little establishment. The staff were busy but friendly. With the back-of-house operation appearing to be quite busy and working within tight quarters, it was impressive to see how well everyone seemed to coordinate and make the most of the available space. What We Tried Eataliano Crab Roll -- A specialty my daughter had told me about after seeing it on TikTok, and now I understand why! Generously filled with a tender, tasty blend of lump crab meat and fillers. Definitely shareable--but only with your favorite people! 10" Margherita Pie -- A NY-style thin crust topped with fresh ingredients, including tomato sauce, house-made mozzarella, and whole basil leaves. Simple, fresh, and delicious. French Fries -- Crispy and crunchy, just as ordered. Sometimes you just need a good order of fries! Greek Salad -- A generous portion loaded with fresh ingredients: feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, Kalamata olives, carrots, green peppers, and pepperoncini. Fresh, colorful, and plenty to share. Overall, Eataliano is exactly the kind of neighborhood gem I love discovering. Between the market, deli, prepared foods, and cozy little dining area, there's plenty to come back and explore. Definitely worth a visit--and I'm already wondering what I should try next!
