It's been a week and I've been 2x already - yes the food is THAT good. We don't need to argue if Stewart's is a brewpub, gastropub or brewery that serves food because the definition doesn't matter - the outstanding food does. Yes Yelpers, I said outstanding food, in a strip mall, in Bear. We saw the Nachos walk by as we were deciding which beer to order and promptly order our own plate. This is Nachos done right - melty cheese layered throughout multiple chip layers means you WILL find that cheesy goodness on every chip. Plenty of toppings and large enough to make it an entire meal if you wanted. I ordered the NY Style Ruben and was delighted to enjoy the best Ruben I've had in years - packed full of flavorful corned beef, perfectly toasted and so large I took half home with me. I'm critical when it comes to Rye and this was not overpowering but the perfect meat delivery method. Husband's review of the BYOBurger was juicy, flavorful and a huge portion. We were so happy with our meal we ended up back on Sunday for their newly returned brunch. I used to be on the search for the perfect biscuits & gravy and I think I found it at Stewart's. Savory sausage gravy smothering crispy yet fluffy biscuits topped with two huge house made chicken tenders (with the perfect breading ratio). This is so large it could be a breakfast sharable - or the only meal you'll need all day. Service on both visits was friendly and attentive, and you could tell it's a little bit of a local watering hole, which makes me like the place even more. Beers are good/fine - I tried the Wacky Wheat with raspberry and the Citrus Crushable, but I'm not a huge hoppy beer fan so I'm not the target audience- but the food is 100% worth the visit.

Absolutely STELLAR!!!! Top to bottom Stewart's does it right!!!! The Hell's Kitchen manhattan is exquisite, and the cheesesteak egg rolls (on special so don't always expect them) were phenomenal!!!! The NY Strip (also a special) TO! DIE! FOR! If you're ever in DE and don't stop in here you're doing yourself the ultimate disservice!!!!

We had beer and a drink...food looked amazing but we didn't eat! This place is 110% worth a visit!

This place was okay to get a bite to eat for lunch. I had a gift card that I needed to use and figured that it would be okay to check out during a down time. There is open seating during the lunch hour. Plenty of spots near the bar as well as high top tables. There was another section on the other side of the restaurant that was available for regular table service. My server was great! There are a lot of drink and food specials. The drink that I wanted to try out was not available because they were out of stock so I opted for something else. Of course my second choice was not as exciting. I ordered the Bavarian pretzel sticks for my appetizer. They were generous and delicious. The dipping sauce was also great. I ordered the Jumbo crab cake sandwich for my meal. There was no way that I was going to be able to finish. The crab cake was all crab. No filler. My only complaint was that it needed a little more flavor. I was able to take the majority of my sandwich home for dinner. I got French fries with my sandwich and they were nice and crispy. This seems like a place for regulars. I can definitely see it getting crowded for happy hour or on the weekends.

Tried 7 different beers- out faves the Maibock

We need to duck out of the midday heat so we came here to take advantage of the AC. Well, we live the beers! What a nice surprise. Tried 7 varieties. Hubby liked the Delcastle Brown Ale and the Buena Vista IPA, I like the Wacky Wheat and Cali Ripa. Our top favorite was the Maibock. All beers tasted were well made. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly as well. This one is definitely a repeat visit if we ever come this way again.

We moved to the area six months ago and we finally got to try this place! They have a unique selection of their own brews that change frequently so there's always something new to try. Their menu looked great and my only regret is not bringing more friends to try more of their entrees. I heard they were known for their skillet Mac and cheese and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was delicious and I can't wait to go again! A hidden gem in Bear with friendly, knowledgeable staff, great drinks and even better food!

I love this little gem. Situated in an odd strip mall, you would never guess what you get by opening the door. Lots of brick and wood, with a full bar down the middle. Craft beers rotate, and there is a mix of styles at all times that can satisfy most anyone. Very good menu as well, with solid pub fare and elevated pub fare choices. Kids are welcome. Service here is always friendly and attentive.

I found Stewart's Brewing Co. one morning on my way to work. I told myself I'd be back to check it out and I finally made it. Honestly I didn't know what to expect but I loved the atmosphere in which I was greeted with upon entering. Diverse crowd which I liked, chill atmosphere, and welcoming staff. I came in for their happy hour. I can say, with what I tried I was pleased. Happy hour occurs Mon-Fri from 3p-6pm. I tried the Crispy Grouper Bites ($6), the Jameson Whiskey Wings ($6), House Wine ($4 x 2). Leaving happy hour with a bill of only $20 I'd say a happy hour well spent. You can also find hear multiple tv for sports lovers, music, and a friendly vibe. The bartenders were attentive and helpful. Until next review, @kicknitwithki (IG)

Originally, I was here pre-COVID, a few years ago. I was in the area, noticed it and decided to stop in and check it out again. A few things have changed but nothing to the downside. Service was excellent and plenty of parking. food priced as good as the market allows. Place is very big roomy and comfortable and clean. Enjoy joy!

Mild buffalo wings with TWO blue cheese's...Blue cheese is delicious

Stewart's is pretty good for when you wanna link up with a couple of friends and quick bite to eat or If you and your girl friend/wife are hungry and wanted to have a few drinks. After years of knowing Stewarts existance since I was in high school (Real early 2000's) I just tried them for the first time after 18yrs. Honestly, they're pretty decent. Customer service is great whether calling to place a order or being seated. Nice, relaxing vibes giving when eating inside. This time I've ordered takeout with my brother. I've ordered the mild buffalo wings, a ceasar salad, and the bavarian pretzel sticks. Ceasar was very fresh, croutons crunchy with a little salt taste and the dressing very good. Bavarian pretzels you get 3 nice size sticks that are soft and warm with a really sweet, but right tangy delicious honey mustard. Beer infused mustard too if im not mistaken. My mild wings were okay. Not really a naked buffalo wing kind of person so it was alright. Just the mild seemed a little under mild. Maybe should got hot I guess. Overall I will be back because I lived around the corner from there for years where my mother still resides so they'll see me back. Next thing though, is their Nachos.

I've been meaning to try this place all summer and was so glad I finally did this weekend. We arrived late Saturday (they closed at 9pm) and were seated immediately. The hostesses were polite and friendly. Sports bar ambiance but not as loud as other sports bars. Food was great. The crab dip was so creamy and yummy and I loved the pretzel bites they added with the tortilla chips. 219 burger was nice and juicy. Cowboy brisket was also yummy but a bit too spicy for me. We also tried a few samples of their brewed brews not too bad. They had a nice selection of speciality drinks like special root beer. Definitely recommend and will return :)

The booth we originally sat at made us feel too squished & hot, so we changed to a table which made us feel a lot better (regarding the heat) Alyssa was our server and she was great, however the service was a bit slow (not her fault, seemed like the kitchen?) We dined in on a Friday but we arrived early around 4:30. We were the only people in the one dining area with two others at the bar so not sure why the food took so long. However, the timeliness (& the heat) was my only complaint. The beer was great as well as the food! We also had two different managers come to us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was great. Would recommend.

While I've normally visited for weekend dinner visits my visit on this occasion was a mid-week happy hour. First, if you've enjoyed the setting in the past you will be happy to know it looks/feels like the same Iron Hill, spacious, clean, well lit, and plenty of TVs in the expansive bar area for watching sporting events. There is outdoor seating both on the main level and the upper level ---for this visit I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by a welcoming bartender who walked me through the happy hour specials---half dozen food options from a soft hot pretzel to personal pan pizzas for $7....thats a bargain from my perspective. Throw in drink specials and this is a great happy hour setup. Opted for a red blend and they had a very good mid-level blend I've had other places---Pessimist red blend. Went with a personal pan pizza and asked for light sauce and extra cheese and it was prepared perfectly.....didn't even get charged for the extra cheese! There was a nice crowd for a mid week late afternoon happy hour and the place seemed well staffed and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and attentive----good place to visit or revisit while down on the Wilmington riverfront.

Happy hour means $6 well drinks, so my standard is rum and diet Coke. Good drink, single pour of Cruzan. I chose to dine at the bar because the weather was a little steamy out. But I later took my second drink out onto their riverfront patio, and sat awhile in the shade of the building. It was lovely. For snacks, I ordered the blackened filet medallions and the garlic mussels. On a skewer, four hefty pieces of excellent beef were joined with a nifty horseradish dip. I did cut the steak into several bites per piece, so it was a good sized portion. My only preference would have been some garnish (greens maybe?). The mussels normally come with bread, but I let them keep it in the kitchen to sub my own GF bread from home. The broth was thin and lightly flavored, which I enjoyed almost like a soup (but was too embarrassed to tip the bowl). The patron to my right bemoaned the loss of a thicker broth from a previous recipe, so the bartender brought him some scampi butter which helped apparently. I really loved the light broth and found it soaked into the bread quite nicely. Friendly bartender gal cashed me out at my request before I took my drink on the patio. $30 plus tip, well spent. I could be a regular here, and look forward to another visit to Wilmington next time we are in Philly.
