This is my first time trying the pizza from Argillas. I know it's a brewery, but I got takeout instead. They have a pretty huge selection and Woodfire pizza! The ordering and pick up process was easy. My pizza was cold upon pick up so I'd go ahead of the time they give you online. Eh, service was fine, we were told only large pizzas left no personal or mediums. We ordered sandwiches. I had a Rueben it was tasty but then bread wasn't toasted so it was soggy fast. Their fries were hot and tasty. Hubby got a chicken cheesesteak. Couldn't see or taste the cheese and never saw onions. We asked about the cheese and she bought it to kitchen manager who assured us it was there. Beers were good. The place smelled funny and when I went to bathroom the back area really smelled funky. Each time we go we know our pizza will be full of flavor with that perfect crispy crust. Delicious! Stopped in for an evening bite on a rainy and windy Friday. The weather outside may be bad but the atmosphere and the vibe inside was warm and inviting. Parked myself at the bar as I was on my own adventure to explore the beers and the bites of this place. Enjoyed a flight with their seasonal pumpkin beer that had a light pumpkin flavor to start of the night. Their sour was a tart contrast from the pumpkin that I just had. Their IPAs were strong and flavorful while their Noats stood out from the other IPAs. The one that made me raise an eyebrow as I sipped it was the Blonde on Belgium, which had tasted like buttered popcorn. I asked the bartender if anyone else had their response but I guess I was the lucky infamous one to tell that first. I could have taken some cans home if I wanted to but the rain urged me to get home safe and sound. The other item that I was curious about and ordered was the Deathwish Cheesesteak a funky combination of steak, pork roll, bacon, egg and the one that caught my attention; scrapple. The bartender wanted me to be surprised and refused to tell me about the sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, savory, warm and a very filled mouth feel. It was so good. We recently visited Argilla Brewing, hoping for a pleasant dining and beer-tasting experience. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations in several areas. First, the food was quite bland. The tater tots with beer cheese were common and lacked any unique flavor, certainly not worth the money spent. Additionally, the fried pickle spears were over fried and excessively greasy, making them unappealing. Pizza was just okay. On a scale from 1-10, the pizza was a 5. Service was okay but not remarkable. The server mistakenly brought us the wrong beer flight, and when he delivered it, he spilled a tenth of the beer on the table. This mishap didn't help improve the overall experience, especially since the beer itself was mediocre. He was super friendly but definitely inexperienced. Given all these issues, I would not recommend visiting Argilla Brewing Co. There are certainly better options available for both food and craft beer enthusiasts. I've been coming here for at least 15 years. I recommended the beer and pizza to many folks and did it proudly. I was faithful through Covid, staffing issues and kept coming back. Tonight it ends. We sat down and ordered beverages to begin. Our waitress, "A", proceeded to go to the hostess station where the two played with their phones. When she finally tore herself away, I mentioned the long wait (10-15 minutes on a very slow night). She said the time was "standard". Too this, I replied that hanging at the hostess station was not "standard". She replied "I don't make the drinks, SIR. We're training someone". The owner and his wife and a long-tie manager were all there. I can't imagine if the order was put in and picked up promptly that the wait would have been so long. We finished, ordered no more drinks and left. There are other options for pizza and better options for craft beer. I might have to drive farther but it will be a happier drive. Every time we visit, we have an amazing time. The beers are killer and the food is fantastic. My husband usually gets a flatbread--his last one was made with spent grain dough--and I am a sucker for the salad with fig and prosciutto on it. But honestly everything is great. I've never been disappointed. Also if you sit at the bar and get to chat with Pete, you'll have an awesome time. He's super friendly and will answer any questions you have about beer or food. I still highly recommend Argilla. Stopped in tonight for dinner after our son's opening day baseball game. He wanted pizza and wings and they more than delivered. We got the Sunday pizza and wings deal for him. Also fried pickles which we loved because they weren't the pickle chips you find at most places and they came with 3 good dipping sauces. My husband had a steak salad off the special menu and I the caprese salad + chicken. Both salads were great as well. Argilla offers decent craft beer and good pizza in a casual pub environment. If you're looking for somewhere to hang out with buddies and grab a bite to eat, consider this bar. I like supporting small local establishments, especially micro and nano-breweries, and this one seems to do a good business (and as such can get a bit cramped and loud, but not uncomfortably so). Staff is friendly and easy to talk to, and even invited a friend of mine who is very interested in home brewing to come in before they open one day to see how they brew their beer. They offer a variety of beers for any taste preferences, but I particularly recommend their Belgian, which is easy to drink and had a good flavor. The food menu is much more extensive that I would have expected for such a small brewpub establishment. You can order pizza by the slice or in three different sizes (personal, medium, large) and they have a wide variety of toppings. I really enjoyed the white pie, and my friend got something with chicken which was also great. They also have wings, salads, tater tot "creations," sandwiches, burgers, and small plates like proper authentic street tacos (only meat, onions, and cilantro in a corn tortilla - no Americanized toppings like sour cream or lettuce to cover the flavor). Descent restaurant/pub. My wife and I are collecting t-shirts of micro-brew pubs. We have been here before and the food was pretty descent. The beer is outstanding. The manager was not there and was the only person that had the key to sell us a shirt so we could not pick one up. They have great pizza and the nachos were outstanding. We went on a Friday afternoon during lunch. Ambiance is nice, and there was some Halloween décor. Though we were one of 3 groups in the entire restaurant, service was extremely slow. We had a party of 6 and we all ordered personal pizzas, that all came out at different times. Mine was last and by the time I started my pizza, half my table was already halfway done. I ordered The Freddie (pictured) which was pretty good, and tried the Brewers Guild "Midnight in Thailand" -- very unique taste for a pizza. The Thai sweet chili sauce makes the pizza sweet while the fresh jalapenos (not pickled!) makes it REALLY hot. I like that they are creative with their pizzas and toppings, and I'm glad I tried that one, but probably wouldn't recommend it unless someone is feeling really adventurous. read more

The waitstaff were a bit overwhelmed, understandably, and my table was not acknowledged for quite a while- it was the Saturday before Halloween. The beer was hit or miss like most brew-pubs. I loved the 2X IPA, Flute Lumption, but the rest were eh. Fun night. However, I went here again. Once again, the 2X IPA was good. I tried some of the others, but they weren't very good. This time, there was a different pizza guy, and the pizza was burnt and unevenly cooked. The wings were very good. However, when paying my bill, I noticed that the pricing on the menu is not true. They charge an extra $0.50 for any sauce on the wings. This means that the price on the menu is for a DRY wing. I am truly disturbed by the lack of customer service. The man that seems to be running the business is very rude & not helpful at all. The font on the menu is horrible & barley legible... When I asked for help he had such acted in a rude manner. This is my first & last time here & I'm a big foodie!!! Took my daughter here for some pizza, went in and we were seated promptly. I asked for a booth (daughter is two) and we were able to get one. I forget the waitresses name but she came by about five minutes or so. Took our drink order and brought out to us pretty quickly. We ordered the pizza and it didn't take too long. Both of us really enjoyed the 7 IPA. Reminded us of a dive bar. Even brought some beer home. Nachos were ok. When we flipped the cheese it was half melted. But liked the cascading. When in search of a good pizza, Argilla was a try I am glad I made. The large thin crust pizzas are cooked to perfection and the inventive pizzas make each order a new experience. Despite some of the descriptions (like the dessert pizza), I have yet to meet a pizza at Argilla I did not like. Branching out, I also tried the wings, fries, and salads. The fries will always accompany my pizza orders from this point forward. Ultimately, I love the food at Argilla--the only ding would be the price. As good as the food is, the prices make Argilla a treat that will not be experienced all that often. Even if ordering with a group, purchasing more than one pizzas will quickly hit the $50 mark. I stopped by with a friend on June 12, 2022. I ordered shrimp tacos, cheese fries and Abre tus ojos stout. The beer was good. To my surprise, I found 4 small pieces of rubber band in my tacos. When I spoke to the manager I was appalled to hear how he handled the situation. He responded there was nothing looking like the rubber band in the entire restaurant and it was impossible this came with the food. He even added it would have melted when they prepared the food.
