This is the better of the three two stones I've been to. We went on a friday night and called ahead. There was about a 45 min wait on a friday night and all the servers were moving! At this two stone they actually had the beer on their menu which was surprising. I was able to try a black berry cider. The glass it came with had lipstick on it but im fine to drink out a can (nbd). My boyfriend was able to order a draft he liked as well. We ordered the nachos, tacos, fries, and honey chicken entree. It was all pretty good. No complaints and it came out timely given how freaking busy they were. The building itself is a bit dingy inside but it was the better of all the twostones!

Consistently good food and good service. Hockessin location. The bread pudding is to die for.

Not sure what all the hype is about..... Nothing special about this place. SMH... service was just average and the food was not great.

The Guinness beef stew looked like dog food and had no taste either. We all got dessert and again none of us were impressed. For the price of everything were expecting a lot more than we got. The staff was great, all very talkative. I thought the atmosphere was decent. Sorry won't be back again.

All through our visit I will say all the waiters and waitresses were all hustle and bustle! I mean they were moving! Their menu had a few unique things on it. We had the prosciutto stuff mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were tasty. The waitress had offered us ranch or marinara and since they were mozzarella sticks we took the marinara, which was good, but next time I'll do the ranch because I could see how that could really kick it up! While we waited for our dinner, I couldn't help but notice lots of yummy looking things passing by. Most notable was the wedge salads and the nachos. For my main course I had the Chicken Vera Cruz. It was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The chipotle cream sauce was so good and next time I'll be asking for for extra on the side as some of it got mixed into the cilantro-lime rice and yes, yes, yes that should be a thing. It was more quiet than a tavern normally is which was good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, I recommend trying this place out!

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

Zappa, C.W.Stoneking, you don't hear this music anywhere around here. Started with an old fashioned which feature a "well bourbon" for happy hour. Don't recommend. Ordered two of the small plates and the highlight was the Thai shrimp. They were huge (12s?) and just fried crispy enough. The chicken wings got the job done. Came with 9, but my GLP drugs only tolerated 6. Overall I would try again, but with Bulleit Rye and just the shrimp. Or the fish and chips.

We were in a hurry because we had to get ready for an event, but as soon as we walked in we were seated right away. The first thing I saw when I looked at the menu, was a Carajillo (Which I was pleasantly surprised that they had it on the menu. It's one of my favorite drinks, especially when I need a caffeine boost and at that time I definitely did!!) I wasn't planning on drinking alcohol, but it was so perfect that I ended up having 2 of them!! Lol For food, I ordered the smash burger and got fries instead of the salad. It was pretty yummy! My cousin's wife ordered the Baba Ganoush and it was delicious!! I was pretty impressed because we had no expectations!
