Cute place in an old house. There was pretty of free street parking on the weekends. The service was great, but it was early when we went, so it was unbusy. We started with the hot pretzels, which were decent. Most places have pretzels with mustard and cheese dip, but this place only had mustard, which was fine, but cheese would take it up a notch. The staff pick of the barramundi fish was too tempting to not try - even though as they say, "it's the best fish you've never heard of." It tasted a bit like cod, but the seasoning and lemon slices made it really tasty. Only big problem was lack of sides, basically only a starch of the day and a vegetable of the day. The potato wedges were good, but broccolini wasn't my favorite but I got kind of stuck with it, and the stalks were really tough and chewy. It was a decent option for the area, and the ambiance is nice. The waiter mentioned his aunt and uncle recently bought the place, so not sure if things are likely to change or stay the course, but I definitely liked the historic home vibe. read more

We had the worst experience ever tonight! We placed our order with our server. Received a soda and waited for about 5 minutes for our hot tea. When our food arrived we were missing an order of fries and the salmon for the salad ordered. About 7-10 minutes later both were delivered. Fries were hot and the salmon was overcooked and dry. Our server never came back to the table to see what f everything was ok. I asked for the bill and we were charged for everything ordered even with all the problems we had. This is a really cute spot in Dover in the midst of a not very nice area (downtown Dover). When you walk in it has a great ambience with very cool vibe: a little bit hipster, a little bit vintage, a little bit tavern. We happened to walk in on a Thursday when they were doing one of their trivia style games called "Survey Sez", which is like family feud. We had a great time here at the tavern. They had a really fun game going, the Moscato that we got was really good, and all the food that we got was excellent. There were only two servers in the entire place and the entire first floor was full by the time we left but we still had good service throughout. We got a steak, side salads, bang bang shrimp and chocolate lava cake with some moscato. We'll be back soon, probably for brunch. read more

Upon arrival our server took the energetic bar scene into consideration and seated us in a more relaxed private room area, which was greatly appreciated. Our server was very attentive, responsive to questions and very helpful. The vast menu offers a great opportunity to share and sample with others and we took that exact approach. We ordered the Caesar salad with glorious croutons (I mean out of this world croutons), it is worth trying this salad just for the croutons. Next were the Garlic Parmesan chicken wings, which were very crispy, meaty and flavorful. The pickle fries were tangy, crispy and a real hit. The Spinach Feta Flatbread presented well but was lacking solid flavor and a little soggy, probably due to the spinach. Lastly the pasta Alfredo was creamy, rich and very satisfying. The moment you walk in its like walking into an old fashion home. Feels cozy and I liked the atmosphere. The flatbread was very good. Definitely would recommend the French Dip Flatbread. The main entrees themselves were not all that great due to the amount of seasoning. The Crab Benedict was a SALT OVERLOAD. Very salty and not very tasty because of it. The steak was pretty good to me but my friend had said it lacked seasoning. If I had rated just the flatbread I would give this restaurant a 4 or 4.5. Overall, we would probably come back to try some different entrees but not the same ones, or if we did, ask for less salt. read more

Stopped in as we were staying in the area for the night. The atmosphere is older and cool if you like old, converted houses. Love the neighborhood even if sleepy at night. Sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She did everything from drinks to getting our food from the kitchen. Odd. Had a burger which was good. I love burger entrees that have two Pattie's. Super attentive and accommodating to our needs, has very great things about the restaurant and gave us her opinions on what to order. Our food was excellent. I've been here many times since moving to Dover, the food is great. Ambiance is good too. My issue is that the service has been slow every time, The wait staff is usually two people running around trying to get every table which makes it hard to serve all guests. I find myself waiting at the front with no one to seat me, waiting 10 minutes once I'm seated to get a server to take my drink order, waiting longer to flag someone down so I can get a napkin and silverware. I love the food here but there really should be better service. I feel bad for the 2 or so servers running around trying to satisfy all tables. read more

Ordered 12 wings. Half house dry rub and half Caribbean jerk. House dry rub was nonexistent and jerk was very Italian tasting. Frozen fries. They only reason I'm not giving a five star is because I've only been there once and don't wanna get ahead of myself. I visited around Christmas of 2022 for the first time (despite living in Dover my entire 30 years of existence). The food was lovely, the ambiance was nice, and the service was acceptable. Since it was late, we were able to have a wonderful conversation with the owner who I really enjoyed speaking with.
