It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's not bad. 4 stars is a little generous - I'd give it a 3.5. I had vegetable fajitas with added shrimp. Luckily I did otherwise it would have been peppers, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes swimming in some kind of soy sauce. My plate was literally overflowing. They were generous with the shrimp though and the shrimp really made the dish. It came with some toppings on another plate: some greens, salsa, sour cream, and shredded cheddar from a bag. One friend had the chicken and shrimp pasta which was a nice sized portion and looked good. If I wasn't a vegetarian, I would have ordered that. What a nice little hidden bar to stumble upon. The food was fantastic fresh homemade none of that pre-frozen stuff. Alex our bartender was pretty awesome. Made great drinks and was very personable. I also noticed how not only was he able to serve people at the bar but people who were seats dining in constantly making sure that they were OK. Look this page has a horrible start with the pictures posted but I gotta tell you this place is fantastic. The food is really good. The boneless wings are some of the biggest, delicious chunks of chicken with tons of great sauce options. They have all you can eat boneless on mondays and all you can eat steamed shrimp on tuesdays and they are well worth the price. The fresh cut fries are some of the best I've ever had! The bar is well stocked and the beer is cold. I've been there twice this week and plan to be back. This one is a hidden gem! read more

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Parking was pleasant. I ordered cheese steak and fries with a cheese steak egg roll and a Long Island iced tea. The cheese steak egg rolls were perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. The side dipping sauce was great. Every bite was amazing and wanted more. The cheese steak was cooked perfectly no hard pieces with WIZ CHEESE!!!! A abundance of meat packed into a decent roll. Great flavor salt pepper and let the meat shine throw. The bread was toasted good but the ends were slightly hard is my only complaint. My Long Island iced tea was very good as well one of the best I've had not to much lemon and not to much soda. Very good with small buzz after just 1. I would highly recommend wolfies to anyone looking for great food. Look, the food is just ok and the beer is fine. That is NOT the reason for the one star. The reason is the owner. I went in some time ago and have not been back since, because of how she talked to her employee in front of everyone. I wish the employee had walked out right then and there. She berated and deliberately embarassed the employee for what I am nit sure, but if anyone talked to me, my kid or my wife like that, we would have a problem. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let me start by saying this establishment has potential. I've been a handful of times, encountered some extremely friendly servers and customers, it was a nice chill spot that wasn't overly crowded. However, last night, the owner--a psycho named Gina, ruined all of that for us! She argued and yelled at me and my friend over a bill that she blatantly overcharged is for. We asked her to correct it so we could pay n leave. Well that wasn't good enough for her. See, as young minority women she truly expected us to get real "ghetto" with her and when that didn't happen, she turned it up a notch. Screaming, rolling her eyes, telling us to shut up--she sounded worse than my 9 year old son. Asked her name numerous times and the response was "I don't need to tell you" so I snapped a pic for the internet to tell meupon leaving a bad review on fb, I was flooded with similar stories from strangers all over the city! Again, I've had good dealings with other staff, food is decent, but the manager from hell is what's going to get this place shut down sooner or later. Oh and I didn't mention that a few years ago, at a grocery store she laughed at my aunt (who had late stage cancer) for having a stroke in the parking lot then called my cousin a fa*got. Once I got reminded of that last night, it's safe to say that she better hope we never cross paths again. Don't do business with shi*ty people, too many other good food spots around. The food was good but the service was terrible. 4 girls working on a Friday night with 30 people in the place. Waited 20 min for refills on drinks after asking for refills twice. Was served our food after waiting 30 min to even order and had to ask for silverware then wait 10 more min for the silverware. Servers were observed standing behind the bar talking amongst themselves or patrons at the bar while we waited! Don't mind waiting but this was terrible service when your servers clearly weren't that busy. read more

This is a cool place that has surprisingly good food. It's your standard hometown, for lack of a better word, dive. I mean that with absolutely no disrespect. Pool tables in the back. Plenty of seating, and very clean. Both the staff and patrons make you feel comfortable and welcome. Good music. The food! They have an nice menu with plenty of options. Nightly specials like all you can eat peel and eat shrimp. I got a specialty burger with fries that was plenty to fill me up. I believe it was the firecracker or something like that. Very good. I hesitated going here at first because, I'm ashamed to say, the pics I saw on line gave it a bad look. Since the other locations I tried were packed, I chose my option C. Glad I did. What a crap show!! We pulled in and was welcomed by a parking lot full of motor cycles, one of the motor cycle dudes (pleasant). Headed into the bar and the entire bar top was covered in empty bottles, glasses and litter. Whilst trying to decide if any bar spots were open, a short fella, obviously part of the biker's club, walks by and yells "I'm not waiting any longer for a beer, F___ YOU". Although an attention getter, his height, weight and him leaving the bar just didn't cause any alarm bells. Bar tender arrived quickly and took my order. We spoke of his struggles of the line cook walking out, and him being the only person available in the "front end". I get it, during these trying times it's hard to get good quality staff... it's even hard to get product! But this is our new lives for the time being... Back to the visit... well shortly after our arrival I see this oily haired young fella throw something out of the serving window from the kitchen and at our bartender... although weird and unnecessary I came to the conclusion this is what you hire when people walk out. Obviously, we are not watching the crowd but this couldn't be ignored! The next minute I see the same oily hair kid wearing this biker's outfit and trying to start a fight with a guy who was ordering food!!! This crap can not be made up!! The darn kitchen staff comes out with his silly hole earrings comes out to pick a fight with a paying customer!! who knew?! The fun begins.... shortly after this exchange between oily haired kid and the paying customer... we have the paying customer walking into the kitchen making sure that his food wasn't messed with... all of a sudden we have the motor cycle "club" surrounding the paying customer where threats were flying. Even an over weight woman with the same type biker's vest, walks over to throw a few of her own threats in! Here comes the kid rushing the paying customer ... luckily a lone biker with some common sense stops his rampage, Having enough of the childish bull crap. I then looked at the bartender and said, "I want my bill now!" Here's the kicker, the owner was there in the room where the majority of the biker group was sitting... she never came out! If it wasn't for one lone biker affiliates who spoke of respecting the "lady's" business no one would have stopped the potential brawl. Owner, you should be ashamed of yourself!! One, hiring such a shitty person that would try fighting a paying customer and just being an absent owner... your food is Ok... but you just showed you could care less about the people that comes in to support your business. I do give Wolfie's a thumbs up, will go back. The food was outstanding and they have enough of a beer selection to get by for us beer snobs. The live music is in a separate equal-sized room, which you can hear (and see, through a large window) from the dining area, but still have dinner conversation - a nice touch for us music lovers. The wait staff and owner are such nice people too! The 3 stars is because the wait staff can be much more efficient. My beer came right away, but my wife's cosmo took forever, including us seeing it sitting tantalizingly in the delivery window for at least 8 minutes, during which many draft beers were delivered to other patrons, and the wait staff walked right by it numerous times. We also didn't get water offered or delivered until I had to request it, as my wife had to stop eating our appetizer, needing SOMETHING to drink (yes the appetizer came before her drink, though we did order the appetizer 5 minutes earlier). They also don't yet know how to fully control their TV channels for some reason. I asked for a certain ballgame on the nearest TV, but it was too complicated to change the channel, so we moved over a table for a view at a nearby table. All of the above is easily fixable - we are a supporter of the new Wolfies!!! read more

I visited Wolfie's yesterday with several friends (9) of us total.. The waitress was very nice and professional.. however she was alone.. The owner was doing all the food orders.. I ordered a special of the day "lobster bisque", it came out room temperature, finally got to send it back to be reheated.. came out 30 minutes later again not even warm " it sat as I suppose like the first time in the window". Frustrated I requested that I take it to go". the waitress said they did not have "to go cups" I then said that is strange.. how about a "to go soda cup since the bisque was not hot, at this point cold". she said they did not have those either.. so I said, well I am paying $7.00 for bisque which came out cold due to sitting in the window.. I also ordered a sandwich which there was no issue with.. the waitress then said to me, I will take it off your bill since it is our issue. Not long after that, we were getting our checks & I noticed the $7.00 plus bisque was on the bill.. The owner (daughter) came over to the table and was extremely rude and loud saying she will NOT take the charge off my bill, I told her I would gladly take it home, I just couldn't eat cold bisque.. That got her even more upset.. She stated " well I am not going to argue with you & stormed away.. All my friend gasped.. NOT ever going back, and it is a shame because she her father is the other co- owner & has always been good to our group, friendly & professional.. The owner needs to take a customer service course on how to treat your customers, and maybe order take out containers for soup, bisque & soda.. I've been wanting to go into Wolfies new location and finally got there today. I walked around and saw that its spacious and has potential. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. Bartender was very pleasant. While sitting there I noticed a gentleman sit and talking on his phone. He was minding his own business however there times when he was getting louder and dropping "F" bombs pretty consistently. I looked around and didn't see any kids so I just ignored the man. It is an adult establishment. I ordered and ate my meal. Towards the end of the meal the manager addressed the man about the language. The patron began to get irritated over being corrected over his language. The manager cashed him out and asked him to leave. The man began yelling and screaming as did the manager. A couple of waitresses prevented the altercation. Before the guy was walked out by two waitresses he threw a glass at the back of the bar breaking it. The unruly customer threatened to kill the manager as he was leaving. The most disturbing thing I saw was the owner was more concerned about the customer rather her manager. By the time everything was settled the staff continued to apologize. Apparently, the unruly customer was a regular. It's a shame. I really liked the place and the food I had was quite good. The place wasn't busy. If these patrons can act the fool during a slow period what's going to happen on a Friday or Saturday night? Until they get some sort of security, I refuse to return. read more

It was a cold, rainy & windy Sunday night. The type of wind that gets to places on your body that you do NOT want wind to get to! Fortunately it was a short walk from my hotel to Wolfie's. I got there after the rained out Dover race fans had cleared out so it was not too crowded. One room with the bar, some hightop tables and more traditional tables. A back room with all sorts of gaming going on; pool, cornhole (never figured out how it got that name) and where the bands set up when they have music. Typical pub fare and a decent selection of draft/bottle/canned beers. Several monitors were around the room with various games on. I wanted to watch the NHL and it took a bit of time for the owner to find the game (it wa son the NHL Network but had a NBV logo on the screen??) but she prevailed and I was happy. I Ordered the Drunken clams and Sunday night the had $.60 wings!! The clams were absolutely delicious. Steamed littlenecks is a clam broth with just the right amount of garlic, grreen onions and parsely. It came with a bit of toasted french bread with garlic to mop up the sauce. Had I known it was going to be this good I would not have had the wings but 2 orders of the clams. Could have used another slice of bread as there was more sauce to mop up. Ended up using a clam shell as a spoon. The wings (garlic/parmesan) were of decent size and a order of 12 wings came out. They have specials 7 nights a week for dine in only. Price was very reasonable and a decent vibe on the inside. Seems like a regulars place as most folks seemed to know one another. Highly recommend stopping in when in Dover, especially on a Sunday when it seems 90% of restaurants are closed. read more
