On an easy like Sunday morning drive across the Bay Bridge, let's check out The Jetty. The atmosphere cannot be beat. Once I looked around, it reminded me of the place I visited the most when I was in Maui a few months back. Of course the water color was a lot different.. Lol! A very large outside with two bars and a decent sized indoors for the cooler months. We came for crabs and a dozen XL for $135, sign me up!! They were big and meaty, what more can you ask for?!? Our server was great and checked on us continuously and of course looking at the boats and the condos on the water made us daydream :) If I ever want to drive a little further, The Jetty is the place! Unfortunately, I also love "The Point" in Arnold and it's 30min closer. Will I come back? Absolutely, I just don't know when..! :) read more

We stopped here on our way to Delaware. The place is a crab house that serves them and bar food. The wife ordered a mice drink and I ordered an iced tea. It came in a very small plastic cup. After the use was added there was about three mouthfuls per cup. It's just ridiculous... and our waiter was a short young white kid with brown hair. And he spent a lot of time in the waiter station. So I ordered a cheesesteak with mayo, raw onions and cheese When the food runner came to the table she handed the plate and the sandwich had tomatoes and lettuce on it. I told her it wasn't right. She left and handed tue kid the plate which he brought over laughing He said smiling here's your plate. I said this isn't how I ordered it and he said the extra mayo is in the cup. I said I asked for it with mayo, onions, and cheese. He walked away laughing . When he returned he had the sandwich... rather than remaking it they tried to scrape off the lettuce and tomato and added a fresh slice of cheese. Sadly the sandwich still had lettuce on it and it was hot and wilted from remelting the new cheese. And the fries were now cold. So the chef gets a zero and the waiter a Double Zero. I left a 15% tip as my wife wouldn't let me leave zero. Which was what he was due. Sadly I couldn't decide if he's just a bad waiter or poor training Either way ... Epic fail. Lots of choices in Kent Narrows. read more

We stopped by The Jetty after spending a few hours at Matapeak Park. First, this place definitely has a lot of outdoor and well-shaded spots. In fact, the dining areas for the restaurant were a lot larger than what I expected. The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu, so everyone should be able to find something that they'll like. Relative to other places, I thought the prices were fine - not super cheap, but not expensive. The restaurant also has a nice list of various frozen and regular cocktails. Overall, service was great in that our waitress made some great recommendations and check in on us a few times during our meal. The waitress did not go wrong in recommending the shrimp tacos. I was hoping for three tacos instead of two, but the portion size of the tacos were packed so I guess two tacos are fine. Overall, we a nice time at The Jetty and hope do visit again after Matapeake Park. Oh, I almost forgot to add that the The Jetty is very dog-friendly. read more

Service by Tarah was excellent. Wasn't sure in the beginning but she came around fast and was extremely friendly and attentive. Food, crab cake sandwich was good. Tuna wrap and blackened shrimp was good. Blackened Mahi, new on menu should stay off the menu. Wasn't blackened, not great flavor. The place has lots of outside waterfront seating as well as inside including a cute beach area. Local but won't run back read more

Stopped for the view and had a very nice lunch. Service was fast and high-quality. My server Amber helped me through several options and we chose the cioppino, basically a seafood stew over linguine. Good advice. It came it came with the Caesar salad salad. The salad was fresh, and the croutons were fresh and crunchy, the broth of the cioppino could have had more garlic to my taste, but suited the seafood, just fine. This place is all about the scenery and vibes. I loved being over the water and watching the ducks swim and waddle by while we ate. We got the blackened mahi mahi tacos and the rockfish fish and chips. The tacos were excellent, and I got to try rockfish for the first time and enjoyed it. "No Brainer" If you're looking for a lively, energetic atmosphere with super cool karaoke music, then The Jetty definitely should be right at the top of your list. I'm talking good vibes and pretty good food to go along with it. Beautiful setting right there on the water, with friends ducks that may want you to drop a little token of appreciation to show them you care. The steamed shrimp were delicious and the stuffed flounder wasn't bad at all. The cream of crab soup was good ( could have been a little hotter ) And the service was friendly and extremely helpful when needed ( including acting as a photographer before I left !! ) When I feel like taking a cool drive to enjoy a nice upbeat evening... The Jetty is definitely my go to !!!! read more

Love that dogs are allowed Service was okay. We got seated and had to wait a while for someone to come check in on us/take an order. We got half a dozen x large crabs. The crabs here are size designated by the size of the shell. Not by weight. The weight different DRASTICALLY. I'd read other reviews that said the jetty does not give af if you let them know the crabs are light/basically empty. And service was spotty so no one came to check anyway But dang one of my crabs barely had more meat on the inside than the claws of the other crabs. Sigh. I also felt like the seasoning was not as heavily old bay as I'd prefer. But great waterside dining? Easy parking. Would not return unless we had the dog with us. The dog enjoyed her hamburger patty. read more

Came on a Wednesday afternoon. Sat/was seated half in the Sun/half under shade with an umbrella. Really hot out. There was no music or anything being played, so it was kind of boring lol. My cheesesteak bun was too hard for me. I scrapped the meat out to eat, which was kind of bland. read more

Not sure what I can say about The Jetty that everyone else hasn't already said! This is a must visit spot if you're on the Island. Waterfront dining, live music on the weekends, good pricing and an expansive menu? What's not to love? Of you're out for a night around town make this your last stop and enjoy the band (warning: you'll likely have to pay a cover fee depending on the time you go). read more

Always a good time here. Great food, good service, nice views etc. They have entertainment here-a live rock band that plays on Saturday's at 3 pm. All of the food I've had while dining here has always been good. They have some of the best Orange crushes I've had. They also use fresh squeezed orange juice for them-which makes a big difference. My last visit I ordered honey old bay wings, mussels and a flounder poboy. All were excellent. The servers are nice and the place can get packaged on the weekends. They have indoor seating with more of a family feel or if you want a more quiet dining experience. The bar is located outdoors on the water. There are 2 hotels on site also. Good little quick getaway spot cross the bay bridge. read more

We were craving crab, so off to the jetty we went! An hour-and-a-half drive that was absolutely worth it. We got settled in the outdoor jetty area with our dog and ordered a dozen jumbo steamed crabs. They were incredibly fresh--meaty, sweet, and full of flavor. It's not the cheapest, but at $155, it felt worth it for the quality alone. We also had some raw oysters, which were perfectly briny and fresh. On top of that, the drinks were great and reasonably priced. Absolutely love this place. read more

Stopped by The Jetty after shopping at Queenstown. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. We were given a choice of a sunny or shady seat outdoors; I didn't really care since it was great views on the deck regardless. We sat closer to the water. There was a live band setting up. We got medium crabs, fish and chips, and crushes. The crabs were a decent price--$52/dozen for the medium. The sun began to set while we were eating crabs and eventually it was pretty dark while we were eating so then I kind of regretted sitting so far away from more of the lighted, covered deck part. Our server checked in with us frequently and emptied our crab shell bucket. You can tell this place gets lively by how much more of a crowd was starting to come in as the night went on and they were loving the live band. All in all, it was a good experience. read more

The Jetty is usually known as a summer hotspot, but I decided to try it for a winter dinner date, and overall it was still a great experience. Parking was easy, which is always a plus, and the restaurant itself is bright, lively, and welcoming. You can tell it's a place that normally has music and a high-energy vibe, even in the quieter winter season. The atmosphere is upbeat and perfect for group outings or a fun date night. We started with the Oyster Trio, which is a trio of cooked oysters, and it was really good. The oysters were fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned. My date ordered the stuffed flounder, which was the only real downside of the meal. It was noticeably under-seasoned and tasted more like it had been lightly steamed with a bit of broil on top. It lacked the depth of flavor you would expect from a dish like that, making it the biggest con of the night. That said, everything else we had was nicely seasoned and flavorful, and the seafood itself was extremely fresh, which is a huge plus. The food also came out fairly quickly, and the service flowed smoothly. Overall, I would absolutely recommend. The freshness of the seafood, the lively and bright atmosphere, easy parking, and great accessibility make it a solid choice, especially for groups or anyone looking for a fun dining environment. With just a little more attention to seasoning on certain dishes, it could easily be a standout experience. read more

I love this spot, and it's mainly for the views. It's located just a few minutes across the Bay Bridge in Kent. Lots of people pull up, dock their boats and come inside for food and drinks. There's also plenty of parking. Usually a pretty good crowd and the live music is also a plus. Our waitress was good and our food came out pretty quickly. However ,the food was okay. The portion was decent but looked like it had been refried or reheated. I'd come again, just not for the food. read more

I and two other people stopped at this restaurant today unfortunately we didn't get the menu's. The waitress said she was coming back however she did not return after 10minutes so we left. I heard the food and atmosphere is great maybe we'll it another chance on my way back to NYC! read more

I ordered a " colossal" soft crab BLT sandwich, it only covered half of the small burger sized bun. I have lived in MD all my life and I'm aware of what even a decent sized soft crab is, I'm here to tell you that ain't it! When I pleaded to the waitress she looked like she agreed but that was that. I wouldn't be upset but was looking forward to a decent sandwich being described as colossal sized soft crab. The 3rd star rating is because my wife loved the broiled crab cake sandwich and other than not giving a damn the waitress did give us great service. So go enjoy The Jetty, just don't expect the menu to be very accurate or anyone to care. read more

My pick for Breakfast or Lunch, night time is a entirely new vibe. Incredible views of the Bay and always enjoyable service.

Visited Jetty's for Mother's Day and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The issue was not just the crab policy, but the overall service. The waitress was inattentive and dismissive throughout the experience, and the automatic gratuity made it even more frustrating because the level of service did not match the added charge. We ordered crabs priced at $138 per dozen. When the crabs were brought out, several felt extremely light. We immediately raised the concern before eating any of them and decided we were not interested. Management repeatedly referred back to the "all crab sales final" policy instead of trying to resolve the situation or provide better customer service. On top of that, the food overall was honestly about a 4/10. For the prices being charged, the quality and experience simply did not match expectations. The entire interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and overall the experience carried an off-putting vibe that made the situation even worse. I would never visit this place again. I understand restaurants have policies, especially with seafood, but customer service and professionalism still matter. For those prices, customers expect quality food and respectful service. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet either expectation. read more

Well, they started out at zero stars; but it's mostly because they are so loud and so busy that it was unpleasant the first time we ate there (we did go back). We went once, the wait was expected to be 90 minutes (Weekend/lunch), so we declined. Tried again, holiday evening, wait was still about half an hour, but we did it. Got seated, waited probably 30 minutes or more before anyone showed up with water. Wifey was pretty hot because people seated after us had drinks and orders taken before we even got our water. But our waiter, Gunnar I think was his name, finally showed with water for us and a couple other tables. He was clearly overworked, managing about eight tables as best he could, so I give him credit and some stars for his effort. He took dinner orders from the table next to us, then came to our table, taking our order, but didn't write anything down. I expect this to be the start of a royal cluster-*, but amazingly, he delivered everything we ordered, correctly. We did have to wait a really long time (half-dozen crab), and it was almost painfully loud (live band). The crab itself was so over-seasoned with Old Bay that it was really too salty and very messy. Plus, several legs and claws were empty - no meat inside. Probably not the restaurant's fault, but disappointing none-the-less given what we paid for crab. We did go back a third time, mid-week, evening, caught happy hour, and it was much quieter. We sat at the bar, had drinks and appetizers from the happy-hour menu, and that was quite pleasant. I would eat here again, but I would target non-busy weeknights/happy hours so it's not so loud and not so ridiculously busy. read more

Warning to Seniors and People with Disabilities : Beware of Abuse at The Jetty On July 5th a lovely afternoon at The Jetty took a turn for the worse, resulting in 'senior abuse'. This story is not pretty. Our story begins with three friends anticipating a fun day at The Jetty with music and lunch.I am a 70 year old woman with a significant disability . My friends,a married couple, are 81. Our day began well but concluded with a shocking situation of 'senior abuse' We had enjoyed the music and a delicious lunch at our first table. After lunch we told our waitress that we needed to close out our first vheck and move to a table with more shade. We were instructed to inform the hostess so that she could send a server to our new table. We followed her instructions; We found a table with more shade and informed the hostess. But a server never came to our second table. I was very thirsty and wanted too start a new order. I attempted to flag down a waitress. I finally got a server's attention. She indicated that the hostess needed to be aware of our change in tables. We tried to assure her that we had done exacty that and that the hostess knew about our second table. Within seconds, the waitress told us that we had to leave and said that if we refused, she was going to get security. My friend attempted to talk to her but she called to security, wrongly accusing my friend of touching her. My friend also attempted to speak to the manager. She wrongly accused him accused him of raising his hand to her in addition to touching the waitress and causing her to cry. My friend is an animated Italian gentleman who sometimes talks with his hands. So,yes, he may have raised his hand to get her attention but he had absolutely no intent to strike anyone. The manager, bouncers and waitress were in lockstep with their strategy. They silenced my friend. He attempted to speak and they silenced him. Again, within seconds, my 81 year old friend was manhandled into a vice grip by two security guards and they proceeded to physically remove him from The Jetty. My friend's wife and I were also escorted out by security. My dear readers, I have been going 'clubbing' for over50 years. Not only have I never been thrown out of a club, I always receive excellent service as I make a habit of showing well deserved appreciation to our hard- working service staff. I strongly caution seniors and people with disabilities to be aware of customer abuse at The Jetty. You better believe that I will never return there. I will be much happier returning to establishments that appreciate the business of all of their customers, including seniors and people with disabilities. read more
