Checked out Bridges while on the area. The restaurant is stunning and well decorated. Our server was excellent as well. The food was decent - it was slightly overpriced in my opinion, likely because of the location/amount of tourists. I would return but with tempered expectations. The outside seating area is stunning at sunset and if the weather isn't sweltering!

Ate lunch here yesterday. Terrific beach bar atmosphere w/ great water views. Spicy margarita - tasty and refreshing Blackberry Bramble? - a bit too sweet and syrupy for my taste. Seafood club - delicious. The shrimp salad was flavorful and the crabcake tasty, with no filler. Service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a visit!

My wife has been dining here with a large group of mostly the same people for the past few years and has always raved about the food, so I decided to join them. Our group of 16 had a reservation and arrived on time. We were seated promptly, and the beach like atmosphere was inviting. From inside, we enjoyed a pleasant breeze and a clear view of the water just beyond the deck, where guests were dining outside. The food was outstanding. I ordered cream of crab soup, and it was one of the best I have ever had, which says a lot given that I have lived in Maryland most of my life and tried many versions. My wife ordered the Island Fries as a starter, and they were beer-battered and delicious. For dinner, I chose the Shrimp and Grits, which was incredible. The shrimp were huge, and the flavor was exceptional. It was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. Based on everyone's feedback, every dish at the table was excellent, with no disappointments in flavor. Now to the service. When we go with large parties, usually more than one server is assigned. This was not the case, but I still give leniency to all things considered. From the time we were seated, it took quite a while to get water and menus. From that point, our server was very attentive. She was very patient, especially considering not only the large party, but mostly older people who are not focused. With that being said, I have one complaint and that is why I did not give this a 5-star review. My daughter and my wife both ordered the same meal. As a side, my daughter asked for the mashed potatoes but specifically asked if they had potato skins in them, and she was told they were just fluffy with only the potato part and no skin. She also asked for her dish to be made without the onions as she doesn't like them. Her potatoes came out with the skins, and her meal came out with onions. In addition, my wife ordered the same exact meal, and her shrimp was dark and almost looked seasoned, where as my daughter's were perfect. It turns out my wife's were overdone which you can see in the pictures below. When this was all brought to the attention of the server, she looked dumfounded and didn't offer any solutions, like to have the one dish remade. She did offer to replace the mashed potatoes with something else. My daughter just accepted the other side, picked out the onions and ate her dinner as she was frustrated and didn't want to wait to have it remade while everyone was already eating. All in all, a good experience and we will be going back again. The prices are very reasonable considering the location, right on the water, and the current prices of food in most restaurants anyway.

This is a cute place on the water with even cuter views. The ambiance is the best selling point of this area as you can look out at the bay. The food is decent. I got the firecracker shrimp. I expected it to be breaded and was a little disappointed when they weren't. The plate came out warm but not hot but the shrimp was well cooked and I liked the accompanying sauces. One trick is I got a side of cheese risotto and it made a nice little shrimp and rice bowl. Friend got the crab pizza which he enjoyed.

The waterfront ambience, great service, and amazing food made this a standout meal. The crab dip was rich, creamy, and loaded with crab, perfectly paired with warm pita chips. Our entrées--the shrimp Bethany and the scallop‑and‑shrimp risotto--were cooked beautifully, and the pickled onions added the perfect finishing touch. Every bite was delicious.

I visited during a local birthday staycation after receiving a recommendation from a bartender at another establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. While the atmosphere was pleasant enough, the food did not meet my expectations, and the service was so-so. One staff member stood out by going out of her way to acknowledge my birthday which I truly appreciated. However, my server seemed indifferent throughout the meal. I had hoped for a more memorable dining experience given the recommendation, but the food and service did not quite deliver.

Beautiful Setting, Disappointing Meal My wife and I stopped at Bridges Restaurant for a late lunch on our way to Fenwick Island. It was a nice evening, so when the hostess asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, we chose to eat on the pier. The outdoor setting was great -- a peaceful waterfront view and fans running to keep the flies away. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights ended. I was really looking forward to a sandwich I had seen on Yelp, but our server told us that lunch was over and we had to order from the dinner menu. It was disappointing -- a waterfront seafood restaurant with outdoor seating and no sandwiches available? The only sandwich option was a burger. To me, ordering a burger at a seafood spot is like going to a steakhouse and getting lasagna. We decided to make the best of it and placed our orders. My wife had a side salad and pork tacos with rice. I ordered the sidewinder fries, cream of crab soup, and firecracker shrimp. The food looked good when it arrived. The salad was fresh, and the cream of crab soup was actually the best thing we had -- rich and flavorful. But everything else missed the mark. Pork tacos were dry and lacked flavor; the rice was just plain and unmemorable. Sidewinder fries weren't worth the price -- they tasted like frozen fries despite the server saying they were house-made. Firecracker shrimp were a real letdown. The menu says "flash-fried," and they weren't kidding -- they were barely cooked. Small shrimp, underseasoned, not spicy, and missing the crispiness or coating you'd expect. Definitely needed more time in the fryer and more flavor overall. Overall, the location was the star, but the food didn't live up to the setting. With so many other restaurants in the area, I'm not sure I'd return. I'd rather try somewhere new before giving Bridges another shot.

Two crab cakes Cajun grilled rockfish Soft shell crab Stuffed shrimp Mussels

Our party of five adults and 1 baby had a blast here. After tax and tips we paid $295. While it is a bit pricey, the food was well worth it. Please refer to the attached receipt for the price. The good: Cajun rockfish and stuffed shrimp. I thought the two entrees did what they advertised. The great: everything but the bowl cream of crab. The soft shell crab and mussels and crab cakes just hit differently. My parents loved the fries and mashed potatoes. My wife loved the soft shell crab's texture. My cousin really enjoyed the calamari and the sweet/tangy sauce. The excellent: bowl cream of crab soup. I loved the creaminess of the soup. I loved the consistency. I loved the bits and pieces in the soup. The taste and texture and everything about the soup worked! Forget everything else because this soup banged. The service was awesome as well. I would go back just for the soup though. The soup was great by the way. Have you guys ordered the soup yet? Soup.

Another 5 star dining experience!! Great food and service. Comfortable waterside dining at its best.

Fantastic food. Every single thing that I tried from the bruchetta to the cream of crab soup (better than PhilipsCrab House, iykyk) that was full of lumps of crab meat to the fish and chips that had old bay fries and piece of fish that didn't even fit in the basket it was so huge!! On top of the size, the fish was also lightly breaded (I hate when it's thick) and so fresh. I can't say enough nice things about the food at this place but the service was also phenomenal! I will definitely be going back. And if you're reading this review and you are the manager you need to thank all your employees because they really are the best in the business.

Decided to try a new spot than our usual tried and true favorites. That was a mistake. The food was underwhelming and overpriced for what it was. The door staff quoted a different market price for the soft shell crab than the waitress. Service was slow. The outside is seating is minimal decor. Overall there are better places and I would skip this.

Those specials were $8 for all appetizers. Our waitress was new, so she said she would confirm. We ordered Apps, pending confirmation. Nearly 10 mins later, we get our drinks and ask about the price of apps and were told Apps were not $8, and the order was placed. This was frustrating because I def. would have gone with my original idea of a steak taco for $17+ instead of $17+ rockfish tender apps, that I didn't really want upfront. Since we were told apps were likely $8 we decided to just order from that part of the menu to try out different things. Sigh. This place was never really my go to on the Island. It was cool to check out after so many years. Was hoping for the "Cinco de Mayo" vibes that were posted on social media, and it just fell flat for me. But go - enjoy it for yourself! It's along the water. Crowd is probably mid 30s+ and the music is a mix of county/old school hip hop . plenty of surface level parking

In fact, the dining areas for the restaurant were a lot larger than what I expected. The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu, so everyone should be able to find something that they'll like. Relative to other places, I thought the prices were fine - not super cheap, but not expensive. The restaurant also has a nice list of various frozen and regular cocktails. Overall, service was great in that our waitress made some great recommendations and check in on us a few times during our meal. The waitress did not go wrong in recommending the shrimp tacos. I was hoping for three tacos instead of two, but the portion size of the tacos were packed so I guess two tacos are fine. Overall, we a nice time at The Jetty and hope do visit again after Matapeake Park. Oh, I almost forgot to add that the The Jetty is very dog-friendly.

Knoxie's Table in Stevensville Maryland! What a gem of a restaurant! A little fancy, a little…read morerelaxed and all very good! The restaurant was hopping. Very crowded and lots of servers, bus people and workers. They were all moving around with great speed, carrying big trays full of food and constantly cleaning up after a table had been vacated. It was like watching some sort of massive choreographed musical number in a Broadway show. Almost every table was full when we arrived. Conservations and laughter rang throughout the restaurant all night. The activity added to the nice ambiance of the busy dining room. The food was very good. I started out with the half and half cream of crab/Maryland vegetable crab soup. Very good! Was it the best I have ever had? Probably not but it has nothing to be ashamed of. Okay, so maybe the thickening agent (flour?) was a bit heavy but I enjoyed the heck out of that soup nonetheless. I ate every drop and wished I had more! My main course was pecan crusted halibut. OMG fantastic! A huge piece of halibut that was perfectly cooked and presented. The sauce was delightfully sweet and savory at the same time. I loved that fish! You know what else I loved at Knoxie's Table? Sarah, our server! She was friendly, talkative, efficient, helpful and really nice to be around. From the moment Sarah introduced herself, she showed us just about the sweetest disposition of anyone I have ever met. And she was a great server on top of that! Thank you, Sarah, for making our dinner at Knoxie's Table a wonderful experience. It is a bit weird to drive over 1 hour to the Eastern Shore to go to a restaurant that is not on the water. Usually, when we drive that far, we are headed to a destination restaurant with beautiful views of the Chesapeake, cool breezes off the water or something to remind ourselves that we are in a different place. Here, in Knoxie's Table, you could be anywhere. You are not on the water, there is no view of a dramatic sunset, you don't see flocks of seagulls agitating each other for a scrap of food. But you go to Knoxie's Table on the strength of the food and, in our case, the luck of having a wonderful server like Sarah. I will have other meals where I see the Chesapeake or smell the fresh air off the Bay. But I will never have a dining experience as perfect as the one I just had at Knoxie's Table. I highly recommend Knoxie's Table to one and all!

We were seated at a spacious booth. Service was touch and go throughout the night. We ordered a bottle of red wine and two glasses of albariño. It took about 30 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks and when they did arrive, the server had given us rosé instead of albariño. I knew by looking at it that this was not what I had ordered so I asked if it was albariño. He insisted it was but I knew it wasn't by the look, smell, and taste. He eventually came back about 10 minutes later with the correct pours. By that point, we were starving so we put all our food in at once to hopefully speed things up. We ordered the parmesan fries, pierogies, crab dip, and beet salad to start. We also each got entrees including the shrimp and grits, crab cakes, steak, and white fish (I think it was branzino?). The appetizers were all delicious - the fries were consumed quickly and the crab dip, although not very crab meat forward, had nice flavor. They provided GF crackers as well but the dip could've used some carrots or celery too. The beet salad wasn't bad either. The entrees came out quickly before we could even finish our apps. Our order definitely was not paced correctly. The flavor of my shrimp and grits was good though and it had a surprisingly nice kick to it. We also ordered dessert - a key lime pie and ice cream(?) if I'm remembering correctly. What I do remember is that the ice cream came out quickly and the key lime pie took forever. It was weird to have our two desserts come out separately and by the time the other one arrived, the first one was already finished, making it a bit awkward. I think if the service and pace of the meal had been improved, this would've easily been 4 stars. I'm not sure if our server was new or what but the clunky service overshadowed the quality of the food. I will also mention that the check came out to about $450. A little steep but I guess that's to be expected with seafood and wine.
