Bagel and Eggs Sandwich
Maria R.

We are huge Vikings fans and we have always wanted to stop by and after my boyfriend met DePaola at the Vikings draft night we knew we had to try it. Going to Annapolis for a day trip we took a little detour and stopped for breakfast here. The Bagel's were very soft and the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel was one of the best we have ever had. The amount of different bagel flavors is amazing and we would love to go back just to try more flavors. The coffee was good too and the service. Definitely check this place out if you are craving for a delicious bagel.

Bagel selection

This Texan dreams about bagels from this shop 24/7. Wish I lived closer, but grateful I got to experience their greatness. The service is super quick and friendly. The dining room was clean and offered many condiments and coffee dressings. They gave a wide range of bagels to choose from, and I love how everything is customizable.

Sorry bit I to the lox bagel sandwich

The restaurant/bagel place is quite large with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large menu of sandwiches, eggs etc. The lox, first order had a lot of salmon on it and was quite thick. On a return trip not as much but still good. Not NYC bagels but still ok. Garlic is the best. Egg dishes are good as well. Service was good, place order at counter and they bring your food. Rest rooms are good and were clean. Parking is plaza, plenty of parking. Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Coffee was also good, lots of varieties.

French Toast with Plain Cream Cheese

This amazing, delectable french toast bagel was absolutely perfect for breakfast. It paired nicely with plain cream cheese and coffee to drink. The bagel has a nice crumb topping and chewy, soft inside. It was toasted perfectly and made my morning a whole lot better! Staff was friendly and there were many tables, making it easy to dine in on a Sunday morning.

Gluten free Cinnamon Raisin with loads of butter

Rating: 3/5 I recently visited DePaola's Bagel and Brunch and see a lot of potential, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement. I ordered a gluten-free bagel, and while I appreciate the option, it was overpriced for the size. It also had an overwhelming amount of butter and wasn't warm, which was a bit disappointing. A lighter touch on the butter would improve the experience. I also had an omelette, which was good overall, but it had way more cheese than expected. If you're a fan of cheesy omelettes, you'll love it, but for me, it was a bit too much. That said, the flavor and texture of the omelette were solid. I really like the vibe of this place and the potential it has to be a go-to spot. Staff was friendly and wWith a few tweaks, I think it could really shine!

Poppy seed bagel, toasted with lox cream cheese.

While commuting to Annapolis and surrounding areas I had a hankering for a bagel. I'm originally from NYS & grew up with real hand rolled, boiled & baked bagels. Since being transplanted to NJ then Delaware. It is hard to find a great bagel. Sure some have come close enough but I've had to settle. This place can't be compared to a NY bagel but it does have some decent qualities in taste & texture. They steam, then bake their bagels here. The bagels are fluffy inside & have a bit of a chew on the crust. This gives them a similarity like a 2nd cousin. I had mine toasted & I think it upped the ante for me. What really impressed me was how delicious and fresh their cream cheeses are. The lox cream cheese was crammed full of big chunks of the cold smoked salmon. So delicious. I ordered this 3 days in a row! The staff is friendly & efficient. The place is definitely busy with take out orders. But it's clean and inviting and has much seating. It serves breakfast & brunch and the menu looks extensive for these items. If I lived here I'd frequent this place regularly. It's in a strip mall right off the highway on a side road with plenty of parking. A gem for sure!

Best shrimp salad bagel sandwich- huge shrimp, fresh plain bagel.

Wow wow wow. Best d@mn shrimp salad sandwich this side of the bay bridge. FYI - you can get your sandwich on other types of bread or a wrap. I think it would be a good idea for them to mention this on their menu - not everyone likes a bagel sandwich. - Best blueberry bagel I think I've ever had. I judge all bagel places on their blueberry bagel. You could smell it before you ate it - heaven. No other bagel place nearby can say that. Great cream cheese and not skimpy. Bagels are very fresh and with the chewy texture a bagel should have. I am impressed!! I'm so happy this place is here on Kent Island and I hope they are are for years to come.

Lox and bagel with cream cheese, capers, and onions

For Kent Island this is a five star bagel joint. Their bagels are honestly not bad at all. They're not New York bagels, but they're better than any bagel in Washington DC or northern Virginia. That's for sure and that includes all the yuppie popular joints. The portions are plentiful and the staff is polite and helpful and it's a breeze place is nice and clean. I highly recommend it.

Smoked salmon sandwich

We swung in for breakfast as we were in the area for the bay bridge boat show. It was easy to find and the service was quick. I had the smoked salmon sandwich on an everything bagel. The portions are large. I was only able to eat half. It was probably won of the best, if not the best, bagel and lox combos I've ever had. My husband did a bacon, egg and cheese on an old bay bagel. He said it was very good. They have a large selection of bagels and various cream cheeses. We also ordered coffees, I believe I ended up with the dark French roast and I usually do not like a dark roast but I really enjoyed this blend. We had our dog with us so we didn't dine in, but from what I could see, there was plenty of indoor seating. Outside there are two tables. I would return if I was in the area.

I was most certainly delighted when it appeared a few minutes later, steaming hot (don't touch the bowl) and looking epic. My server said don't be in a hurry. I think that is the predominant theme here; relax and let life come to you. I had heard great things about the cream of crab soup, so I took two home to share. Sunday 1/11/26 Once…read moreagain, another spot that I found with the help of yelp as the high ratings & reviews definitely gained my attention. I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Overall, my experience was quite a good one due to the scone and crab omelet delivering the most. -- #issa.cheatday

Biscuits and gravy with two eggs over medium, the biscuits were good and the gravy better than average and its pretty hard to mess up a couple eggs. All in all a decent enough breakfast. I also got a cup of Maryland crab soup which was really delicious and well flavored with the perfect amount of Old Bay seasoning. For my entree, I got a house salad with blue cheese gorgonzola dressing and grilled chicken. This was probably the most disappointing part of the meal - the chicken tasted like it had been steamed and totally unseasoned. It desperately needed salt, pepper, garlic powder, anything! It was super bland. The dressing wasn't very flavorful either and definitely didn't have the funky blue cheese taste I was hoping for. I usually love a salad but this one was really lacking flavor.

Knoxie's Table in Stevensville Maryland! What a gem of a restaurant! A little fancy, a little…read morerelaxed and all very good! The restaurant was hopping. Very crowded and lots of servers, bus people and workers. They were all moving around with great speed, carrying big trays full of food and constantly cleaning up after a table had been vacated. It was like watching some sort of massive choreographed musical number in a Broadway show. Almost every table was full when we arrived. Conservations and laughter rang throughout the restaurant all night. The activity added to the nice ambiance of the busy dining room. The food was very good. I started out with the half and half cream of crab/Maryland vegetable crab soup. Very good! Was it the best I have ever had? Probably not but it has nothing to be ashamed of. Okay, so maybe the thickening agent (flour?) was a bit heavy but I enjoyed the heck out of that soup nonetheless. I ate every drop and wished I had more! My main course was pecan crusted halibut. OMG fantastic! A huge piece of halibut that was perfectly cooked and presented. The sauce was delightfully sweet and savory at the same time. I loved that fish! You know what else I loved at Knoxie's Table? Sarah, our server! She was friendly, talkative, efficient, helpful and really nice to be around. From the moment Sarah introduced herself, she showed us just about the sweetest disposition of anyone I have ever met. And she was a great server on top of that! Thank you, Sarah, for making our dinner at Knoxie's Table a wonderful experience. It is a bit weird to drive over 1 hour to the Eastern Shore to go to a restaurant that is not on the water. Usually, when we drive that far, we are headed to a destination restaurant with beautiful views of the Chesapeake, cool breezes off the water or something to remind ourselves that we are in a different place. Here, in Knoxie's Table, you could be anywhere. You are not on the water, there is no view of a dramatic sunset, you don't see flocks of seagulls agitating each other for a scrap of food. But you go to Knoxie's Table on the strength of the food and, in our case, the luck of having a wonderful server like Sarah. I will have other meals where I see the Chesapeake or smell the fresh air off the Bay. But I will never have a dining experience as perfect as the one I just had at Knoxie's Table. I highly recommend Knoxie's Table to one and all!

I'll be honest I'm still conflicted about this location…read more The good: The food is pretty decent and well prepared. Not amazing, but solid. Decent set of breakfast and lunch options for a counter café. Love the curry chicken salad. The dressing for the southwest chicken salad is not great - I would ask for a different dressing or mix it with some ranch at home. The bad: this place is very Variable in turnaround time and wait time. I've gone when they've been empty and had my food prepared rapidly, but l've also gone when they've been pretty empty and waited what seemed like a long time for a simple order. When they're busy and get in the weeds, the line can stretch out the door. All of this seems odd for a location inside of a hotel/event venue like this. Does the management team not coordinate with the hotel staff to know which weekends are hosting weddings, etc.? They should be prepared for a breakfast rush the Saturday after Friday wedding. And regardless, why are they not adequately staffed on weekends in general? I have been here several times on a weekend and it's always understaffed compared to the number of people waiting for food. Recently I walked in and looked at the line, looked at the staffing, and I just walked out. Today (Friday) I came and was the first person in line, although I think one or two people were waiting on active orders. The only dish I ordered was a Caesar salad with blackened salmon. It took 25 minutes for them to cook a single piece of salmon. People who came and got in line after me and ordered after me had their food made and delivered before I got my food. This was despite having tons of people working every station. This was not a staffing issue, but an inefficiency and poor workflow issue. I don't know exactly what the issue is back there but it's clear they have some significant problems with getting orders out on time - and that is not related to the amount of staff they have. Bottom line: if you come on a weekday or in the off hours for lunch, you're probably going to do fine. I would not recommend coming here for breakfast unless you are staying in the hotel and even then I would make sure you leave plenty of time to wait.
