First time visiting this restaurant after coming to Tilghman Island for a few years. So glad we gave it a try. There is a parking lot in back so don't pass by if there's no space in front. Kelly was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant has two areas for seating. We got to sit in the room with antiques for sale. I left with a Longaberger picnic basket. It was a Friday morning and the place was pretty busy. I tried the portobello crab meat skillet with potatoes and my husband had Crabbie Eggs Benedict. I only managed to eat half my skillet while hubby finished his entire plate. Someone else ordered the same and he only ate half. Generous servings but I wish there was more crab. I didn't really taste it on my mushroom which also had spinach, tomatoes, egg, and cheese. I would come back to try other offerings. They added 18% service charge for our group of 7. read more

This is a nice place to have breakfast on Tilghman Island. Many of the items feature crab meat and they do not skimp on the quantity and quality. We ordered the crab benedict and crab melt. Each plate came with two sizable portions so we swapped. The crab benedict was sensational with perfectly poached eggs and tasty bechamel sauce. The crab melt was somewhat overpowered but the ultra-rich cheese sauce. read more

Great breakfast, mere steps from where we stayed on the island. The food was great - price was right, nice menu, food was delicious. Only issue was the service, while super friendly and apologetic, was really slow. We were promptly seated, but due to miscommunication between the team no one took care of us or got us coffee or flatware for almost ten minutes. Another couple at a table near us were seated after us, no one came over and after another ten to fifteen minutes they eventually left. When we were greeted, everything was great. And I fully understand that places are understaffed and it was the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, so I am sensitive to that and forgiving. We would 100% go back and eat there again, God willing they can get their communication straight so servers know when they have tables! read more

I was excited to see they had chicken n waffles. The menu also started it came with eggs and bacon gravy. Normally you just smother that chicken n waffles with butter and syrup. I was confused on the gravy. More confused bacon gravy. I asked for it on the side. The waitress told me they don't like substitutions. I said it's not. I want it in the side. I have no clue what it taste like. Glad it was on the side. Some nasty stuff. The only thing good was the eggs. Which were bland. The waffle tasted like it was made the day before and then microwaved per order. The chicken strips were so breaded you couldn't taste the chicken. read more

I hate to give this place a bad review. It has everything I really like in a Maryland Eastern Shore coastal diner - rustic, re-purposed building, mis-matched chairs, tables and decorations, cute hand-made signs and a menu that looks fantastic (with an emphasis on Maryland crab dishes)! It even had good reviews. But - if I'm honest - Two If By Sea fails to deliver good food and, more importantly, the service is abysmal. The service (from seating to ordering to food delivery) was probably the worst I've ever experienced. And the staff was unpleasant, unprofessional & complained about other patrons. In their defense, they're equal opportunity because they complained about all the other staff members too. The food was passable at best. But I expect a MUCH better crab cake from a restaurant in spitting distance of the Chesapeake Bay. The flavor was mostly Old Bay and filler, not big lumps of crab meat as I expected. The orange juice tasted like watered down Capri Sun. Maybe I caught them on a bad day - but I doubt it. I cannot recommend Two If By Sea under any circumstances. read more

This is one of the best breakfast/brunches we have had. The special pumpkin pancakes were outstanding. I had the Reuben, the best I've ever had. My wife enjoyed her breakfast as well. Kelly was a great server, and the restaurant is clearly a local go-to with everyone knowing each other by name. Makes it feel that much better going and supporting! My wife had the good morning platter which was your standard breakfast platter. The highlight was the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. I had to split it in two! Ham, bacon, cheese, 2 eggs, and hash browns sandwiched between two tasty pieces of French toast. So good. So worth it. Great vacation food. Definitely couldn't do much after eating it though! Haha. My wife and I tried to go there for breakfast. I tried to order something without an ingredient. (Bacon gravy). I was told that we could not make any changes to the menu and that you get everything listed on ingredients. Even after I told her it was a religious dietary restriction, the waitress told us she couldn't do anything. So we left. Apparently when you order there you have to eat everything listed on an item, even if you are allergic or restricted. read more

We recently stayed on the island and came BOTH weekend mornings for breakfast- once was not enough! The staff are all locals and have generations of family from Tighlman. The chef is phenomenal and efficient. The food is just ridiculously good home-cookin diner type far- absolutely high calorie and filled with butter and sauces and ALL The good stuff! they have like 7 different types of benedicts. There are so many fun things to look at on the shelves and walls. I ate until I was uncomfortable. Just don't you DARE try to change anything on that menu or you will not like the response from the staff or chef. Fair enough- you get what you get and you don't get upset! read more

Traveling north to visit family, we had planned to stay overnight in Easton, but then we decided on a whim to drive out of our way to Tilghman Island because we are just like that sometimes... We came across Two If By Sea, and it, along with the views, made it definitely worth it! We were greeted with big smiles and a welcoming "Good Morning" and quickly seated. It is off season, so no wait! Hand down the Crabby Eggs Benedict needs to be on your list of "Must Haves"! Hubby and I decided to each order something different so we could share....and even though his Blueberry Pancakes were EPIC, I really hated handing over one of my Benedict stacks. Hughes lumps or crab barely held together with a delicious binder, served with poached eggs and just the right amount of Hollandaise. Blueberry pancakes were loaded with blueberries and served sprinkled with powdered sugar...hardly needed the syrup. We ate every bite and wished we had room for more! I was here last weekend twice for breakfast. Funky back to the past style decor. Looked dated back to the 60/70's. Excellent breakfast. Nice people. I liked the java and the vibe. Hash browns from scratch, perfect omelete. Good price/value for breakfast. I checked out the dinner menu and found some interesting entrees that I will try next time. Might get to four stars. I happened upon this Jewel of the Sea in Tilghman Island. The Cafe is tastefully decorated and the Wait staff were friendly, attentive and personal. I ordered the Crab, Cheese and Asparagus Omelet. Rarely in my life have I ever had a more perfect Omelet. Only one word could describe it, that would be Sublime. The combination of fluffy eggs, aldente Asparagus, Local Asparagus and Cheese was to die for. The Redskin Potato Home-fries were an excellent accompaniment. This is a breakfast place, not open for dinner. But the breakfast is really good! My favorite is the soft shell crab eggs Benedict, but there are many other eggs Benedict options to suit any taste. Lots of other egg dishes, all the standards, pancakes and waffles. Very little parking. Lots of people come from the nearby Wylder Hotel using the hotel bicycles. Terrific breakfast from the traditional to pancakes to their famous crabbie Benny which is just mouthwatering. Friendly service. Bottomless good strong coffee. Jams and jelly for sale. This is a great visit for food. Serves beer wine and mimosas too. Service not bad. A little warm inside on a hot day. read more

This is a great "locals" place with an excellent chef (top chef per What's Up? Eastern Shore Magazine, July 2018) I've been here a few times and the food is consistently good. Today my husband had Eggs Benedict and I ordered the Cuban. Generous portions, friendly staff. You do have to check their open hours carefully...we arrived at 12:30 expecting that they closed at 2:00 per the hours posted on Yelp (for a Saturday). They close at 1:00 in the winter. We still were greeted cordially and enjoyed our lunch. My only complaint is that I'd prefer to be called "honey" less (like never), but it seems to be an Eastern Shore thing. Two if by Sea catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner and did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely delicious. So many people told us how much they enjoyed it, especially the oysters and crabs. Henry was also a delight to work with. He was understanding and helpful regarding changes that needed to be made to the menu and helped us craft a menu that we loved but also stayed within our budget. His staff was also friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to stop by his restaurant "Two if by Sea" next time we are in Tilghman and try more of his cooking! read more

I wanted to like this place but it was a little funky. First, my companion ordered a cappuccino. When he tasted it, he said the foamed milk was really thick and had a strange taste. I tasted it and agreed - it had this weird body reminiscent of gelatin. The omelette was fine, the sausage was good, and the home fries uninspired but okay. My pumpkin pecan waffle looked great but had a weird gummy texture and the same funky taste as the foam on the cappuccino. I abandoned the waffle, subbed in an English muffin, and called it breakfast. Based on this one experience, I would NOT recommend. read more

We loved this place for breakfast because of the quaintness factor. It has a "yesterday" feel with its collection of cookie jars & old-fashioned ceiling fans. I loved my omelet with crab & asparagus. My husband was pleased with his eggs & toast, as was our friend with her omelet & home fries. Our one criticism is that the iced tea wasn't made fresh but came from one of those dreadful machines. Coffee was great, and the mimosas are $5! Whole breakfast for three with two mimosas was $40 plus tip. Outback seating was nice too, but lots of ambience in the traditional styled indoors too.
