Good food, good coffee and friendly staff. Very easy place to grab breakfast in St Michael's

Iced coffee, raspberry matcha whoopie pie. View from the couches.

Solid lox bagel sandwich w delicious dill cream cheese! Yummy raspberry matcha whoopie pie that goes great with ice coffee. Very cute interior and we love the logo. A nice couch sitting area at the back. Outdoor seating too! Nice local items for sale and local art on the walls. Helpful, friendly, and quick counter service!

Adorable coffee shop in a quaint setting! It's just off the Main Street and also offers a nice food menu. We were there for a late breakfast and ordered the egg and cheese on an English muffin. Ultimately very simple but it was nicely done and very tasty--cheesy, fluffy eggs! I ordered a chai latte as well and added it pumpkin flavoring. It was delicious! A slightly less rich chai, but still with nice flavors! They have ample seating inside and service is quick and friendly!

Visiting this historic town and after walking through town stopped here for a bite to eat for lunch. I had one of the BEST BLT sandwiches I've ever enjoyed! The bread was perfect for this kind of sandwich...firm, chewy and big slices. The tomatoes tasted like they came right out of the garden and the generous amount of bacon was complimented by the lettuce and perfect amount of mayonnaise. Yum! If the rest of the food served here is anything like my sandwich it will be a winner for all who visit this treasure one block off Talbot St near Railroad!

Surprisingly good coffee! I picked up an iced latte with their house-made lavender syrup and a blueberry muffin- both were delicious. They also sell pastries from Gluten Free Bakery Girl! Worth a visit

Unassuming back alley coffee and sandwich joint with a mellow vibe

With the caveat that this is $$$ prices for bagelwiches and small snacks, this is a great little spot that made us feel welcomed and relaxed. The Maryland bagel (salmon, crab, and Old Bay creamcheese) was interesting, and we complimented that with a NY bagel sandwich and some backed items. The layout inside looks intriguing for music -- the stage is at one end, and a small bar area/coffee counter, I can imagine this would be a beloved local coffee house scene off-season. The historic building is a nice plus for the experience. We had snappy and friendly service at the counter, albeit at the end of the business day (1:40 PM with a 2 PM closing time). There was plenty of outdoor seating available on a nice day, almost too nice; we stuck inside to avoid the direct sun on an unseasonably warm spring day. But if you're looking for a little mellow outdoor café experience, here's your place.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch on the Eastern Shore! For a coffee shop, they definitely have robust food options. The lavender coffee left more to be desired as it almost tasted soapy. However, the Maryland Bagel and Chorizo Tortilla were amazing! As a fan of Old Bay seasoning, I was excited to try their Maryland Bagel with Old Bay cream cheese and it paired extremely well with the salmon. If you love breakfast burritos, the Chorizo Tortilla definitely won't disappoint. If you are stopping in or passing by Saint Michaels, Blue Crab Coffee is a delicious breakfast option!

Decent coffee, great service! Today's coffee and tea were excellent. I appreciated the positive, upbeat energy of the barista!

Was a great little spot for breakfast and they had gluten free options as well. The atmosphere was cool and the coffee and food were both very good. Could easily return here multiple mornings and not be bored by the choices.

Quaint little coffee shop! Quiet and great place to read, do some work, catch up with a friend. One big benefit of eating here: you are truly supporting local. A local business, locally owned, and serving smoked salmon, kombucha, bagels, gluten free bakery items (and more), all from various St Michaels and close-by businesses! Good chai latte, and tasty bagel breakfast sandwich (bacon egg and cheese). Friendly and genuine service. Right next to the public library and near lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast bagel came nicely toasted with delicious egg whites, 2 pieces of thinner bacon, and melted cheese. Perfect temperature. I do wish they cut it in half, but I'm nitpicking here ;)

With the new ownership, I feel that the place is very much lacking. The menu is severely lacking variety now. It's fine just for coffee.

Excellent breakfast sandwich with fresh, hot eggs, sausage and soft, flakey croissant. The wait staff were friendly too.

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - the bread, oysters, cucumber salad, scallops, fries, rigatoni, and two desserts. Everything was incredible - creative yet comprehensible and decent portions for a more expensive restaurant. If you go during the 4-6pm window you'll have access to happy hour with discounted house wines and a few dishes. Jordan was our server and was great at convincing us to try certain things that later became an obsession (cucumber salad). Great lighting, lots of bench seating, and quick service. I'd go out of my way to eat here again and would recommend everything on the menu!

The seafood was excellent. We loved the oysters and the tuna sushi that you roll yourself--it was fun and delicious. The potato chips with Iberian ham and manchego were incredible and one of the most memorable bites of the night. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The desserts were also fantastic. The labneh ice cream was completely out of this world, and the olive oil cake was excellent as well. A couple of small notes: the endive salad wasn't our favorite because it was covered in onions, which wasn't mentioned and unfortunately I really dislike onions. Also, the pork chop tasted amazing but we did notice toward the end that part of it was a bit undercooked. That said, overall the meal was excellent and we had a really great time. Definitely a memorable dining experience in St. Michaels.

We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately, which set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening. We started with the baked oysters, foie gras and bone marrow appetizers--both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. For dinner, my wife had the sword fish, I had the veal chop, and my son had the seafood gumbo. Each dish was incredible, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. We finished the night with the crème brûlée, which was prepared to perfection and was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The entire staff was A+ across the board, including owner/exec chef Doug and his lovely wife Jenn, who clearly care deeply about both the food and the guest experience. Don't let the quaint town of St. Michaels fool you--this gem is absolutely worth the visit.

Unfortunately, it was lack luster; more shell than crab and mostly devoid of flavor. I'll admit that being from the lowcountry I have a high bar for crab soup and this didn't come close to meeting it. The truffle fries were delicious and it was fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen action. Our waiter was attentive but when the bill arrived we had been charged for drinks we didn't order. This is not as uncommon in tourist towns as one would hope. I lived in Nantucket long enough to always go over the bill with a careful eye.

The atmosphere was great and the drinks were excellent. They make a really good Bloody Mary, and overall the bar side of things was a highlight. For food, we split a sandwich, an appetizer, and a salad. The sandwich was very good, but the rest of the food was just okay. The Caesar salad didn't seem fully tossed, and the pretzel with crab felt like it may have been microwaved. It wasn't bad, just not on the same level as the drinks and atmosphere. Overall it was a nice stop and we enjoyed ourselves. We'd definitely go back for drinks and the atmosphere.

It was quite literally just a panko crusted burrata that was fried. And that was it. I guess for the price I was expecting like a side baguette or more tomatoes. It was good but not worth it to us. For our meal we got the lobster pot pie ($42) and the short rib ($42). The pot pie had a great flavor and had some good chunks of lobster. Although I did find it a little more on the soupy side and thought it could've been a bit thicker. The short rib in puff pastry had a good flavor but was dry. The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were good but nothing memorable. Overall this place provided a good meal but for the prices, I would expect out of this world memorable flavors and perfection, which it was not.
