On the Eastern Shore for the Labor Day weekend, and cannot come across the Bridge and not stop intoi the winery. No food served, however plenty of choice wines to choose from. In addition to choice wines we were able to get a variety of natural teas. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was like a small town meet up spot. We were offered samples and of course I was hooked...and walked away with several bottles of the blackberry wine.

While on a weekend getaway to St. Michael's, I sought out local breweries per my usual vacations "must do." ESB seemed like a good choice for a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a flight of five - St. Michael's Ale, Back Creek Blonde, Situation Critical IPA, Down Feathers Cuss, and a Grapefruit Summer Crush (even though it's winter??). You can't choose your own flight. It's chosen for you, but it's a good deal for $14. I was given five small flimsy plastic cups for my flight even though I saw other patrons enjoying their flights in glasses. The bartender said, "You get plastic because I haven't had time to do the dishes." WTH? Hmmmm. The flight was okay, not great. I enjoyed the amber ale and the IPA, but the Blonde was so bad I couldn't take more than one taste. Pale Ale? Same. Pretty bad. As more people arrived and ordered flights I saw them carrying their flight boards to their tables with glasses, not plastic cups. Returning my board upon finishing I asked if I could trade for a beer glass to take home as a souvenir. You know, since I got plastic and didn't get the flight experience out of regular glasses. Nope, it's $7 for the glass. My beer tasting now became $21 and I am pretty sure it was not worth that much. Definitely won't return, but there are lots of other breweries to explore in this area.

Stopped in for a beer on a Saturday afternoon, The place was pretty full and many patrons had large, misbehaving dogs. The presence of so many dogs (allergies) prompted us to depart without ordering. Allowing dogs outside is fun, but inside is dangerous for those with extreme allergies.

My wife really wanted to check out the town of St. Michaels while we were in the area. She knew she could get me there by including a brewery. We arrived in St. Michaels about 1pm on Friday afternoon and this was one of the first stops my wife took me to in the town. We checked this place out a little but did not have a beer. We thought we might come back later in the day but did not. After walking around in the July heat we opted to head back to our hotel. It was a cool place though and we recommend checking it out!

Beers are fantastic, wide variety. Staff is super friendly and fun. We were here for a wedding so I don't know if the food is the same, but if it is, the food is incredible! Love the wide Open spaces lots of plants inside and outside a beautiful view! If you find yourself in Blacksburg, you got it make the little trek to this gem!

Awesome place! Fiancé and I took a weekend trip to st Michaels and stopped in to try some beers. We got their flight-- it's predetermined with 5 beers but you can add extras for $3 more. The vibe is very laid back and they have some games to play which was fun. They are dog friendly as well! No food available but you can grab food from a local place to eat. I was going to buy a pint glass as I left but the bartender was nice enough to give me a pint glass on the house! He said because we had checked in on Facebook :) really nice people and great beer!

A quaint little shop in Easton, MD. The beer was good although the seating was Almost uncomfortably on the street (like some exhaust with that lager, sir?). Now frankly with covid, they didn't have much choice but I think more could have been done. The establishment was not all the safely distanced either. Bottom line - a nice watering hole but don't base a vacation on it!

Stopped by on an afternoon while we were in town and the basic flight was delicious. There is no food there, just beer , but the guys were cool about having some food from anywhere else while you drank. I would go back for sure.

Was exploring the St.Michaels town for the day and stumbled upon this brewery. I love beer so I just had to try some. Ordered a flight plus a extra pour of their orange beer. The beers were soso. I didn't hate any of them but nothing really wowed me either. If I had to choose my favorite one, I think I would go with the St.Michaels beer.

Well, I would have given 4 stars, but they-at least currently- have a massive fly problem they need to work out. Moving on from the attacking flies, I generally enjoyed my visit here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We arrived at 3pm-ish and, besides two other couples, had the tasting room to ourselves. As the rain worsened, the crowds started coming. You can do tastings, pints, or growlers. Service was fine- she clearly had regulars though and tended to their multiple growler needs first. They brew everything on site, which you pass by as you wait for the sole restroom in the building. From what I gather, Friday's and Saturday's they have live music and more going on, while Sunday is chill. A bonus for non-beer drinkers: they don't care if you purchase a glass of wine at the St. Michaels Winery next door and bring it over. They don't have much good (some bagged chips, pretzels, hummus, and Boar's Head meat) but you are free to bring anything you want in. They have a few games going on: shuffleboard, foos ball, darts, and a brilliant game for anyone who gets hammered and wants a challenge: a circular ring hangs from a string and you are tasked with swinging it onto a hook on a wooden post. Now let's talk about why you're really here: the beer. Tastings are $10 and include 5-1 oz. samples of the first five beers. You can add any of the seasonal for $2 each. We both did a tasting but ,in retrospect, we should have shared because I ended up drinking most of both tastings since he was our driver. The first five (which we were told were set but she did make exceptions for other parties to switch stuff out) were: 1. St. Michaels Ale: this is described as an amber ale with a complex malt profile. IMO it was god-awful and I couldn't finish my taster let alone his as well. That's just my taste preference which strongly leans IPA or blonde ales. 2. Knot So Pale Ale: they describe it between a pale ale and an IPA and I agree. Slight bitterness but mostly just grapefruit tones. Second least favorite for me but still drinkable. 3. Situation Critical: this is their IPA and it had strong hop flavor. Moderately bitter, floral and fruit notes. A little more piney than I,prefer but still enjoyed this brew. 4. Back Creek Blonde: definitely an all-day drinking beer. Very crisp, slightly fruity, light hops. 5. Crosby, Philz, & Mash: pilsner style, slightly malty, light hops, light sweetness. Very drinkable and I'm not typically a fan of this style of beer. For $2 I addd the Peach Creek. This screams summer in a pint glass! Fruity, peachy, blond and perfect for the patio! I'd definitely suggest stopping in if you're in the area. The rotating beers change regularly so I'd happily stop back to see what's offered at that time! I just hope the flues are dead or have moved on by then.

As we were headed into St Michael's Winery tasting room next door, this guy tried to lure us into the brewery, and we told him after we were done. It turned out that this guy was not only the bar tender, but also the GM of Eastern Shore Brewing. He was absolutely funny as he went about his work tending customer once it got busy. After tasting 10 wines next door with very heavy / generous pours, I decided avoid the Belgian Tripel (8.5%) even though I am very fond of Belgian style brews. I sampled both the Grapefruit IPA and Magic before going with a pint of the Magic. The Grapefruit was a bit too bitter to my taste, more like eating the white part of the grapefruit rind. My wife went with the light Pub ale. Jay aka James on his beer pouring certificate, was a real hoot. When he ran out of tasting glasses and he didn't want to let customers go away empty handed, he simply poured them a couple of pints on the house. Before we left, I asked for a taste of the Belgian, and Jay handed me a 5oz pour.... wow, smooth, and delicious!!! The only food offered here are Boar's Head prepackaged snacks and some brand of nuts. Would be much better if they had access to pub food. I could easily grab something from Gina's next door to eat with their beer. Growlers and 32oz cans (Crowlers) are available.

Great place to hang out and have a beer! While we enjoyed a brew we had a great time talking to some of the locals and meeting their pups. Yes, they are dog friendly as long as you have a well behaved pup. Sarah was serving up the dirnks behind the bar and was a pleasure to talk to and learn about the brewery and town. We will be back next time we are in town!

Beer was ok. The live band at 3:30 on Saturday was way to loud to really relax and just hangout.

This is MY KIND OF PLACE!…read more Hubby was bored at Martinak and said *Let's go for a ride!*. I didn't want to let him down. So it just started out riding through the small areas of the Eastern Shore and a gas run. He asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee....I said no, let's find a pub or brewery. I consulted with my phone like all of us do these days and found 4 Dogs. Waze kind of messed us up, but it actually worked out because in our being turned around for a few minutes, we found another place that we will be returning to before the summer season starts to try out and I will review on that at some point. We pulled up to this very pleasant looking building with some dogs painted on it. We walked in and it was just this nice place with pool tables, some tables to sit at and of course a bar. We selected to sit at the bar. We were served by Chris who was just fantastic and makes a great orange crush. The vibe is just so nice in the pub, just the way I like it. You can hear yourself think, you can talk to your partner without screaming, yet there is music playing and laughter....it's just a nice friendly place. We ordered a Hot Honey Old Bay order of wings as we were going back to our campsite to have dinner. Would for sure order these again. They were meaty, and the sauce was sticking to the wing, not laying all over the basket. Very impressed with the taste. We thought the drinks were a great price, but then living in the Baltimore area, we get hammered on price here when we go out, which is why more often than not, hubby makes our drinks at home these days.....but this is a nice little place in the town of Easton which looks like it has a bunch of hidden little gems and we are going to take another trip down soon! Really enjoyed our time at this pub!
