I only knew about this place because of my brother as he comes here for true crime trivia nights. Decided to go with him one night. You first walk in into the big dining area/bar area. Bar almost stretches from one end of the room to the other. Trivia is held in a separate room. Looks like you can have private parties. Even has a stage for possible bands to play. The host of trivia is very entertaining and funny. Got intense at times but the host held it together and got everyone on the same page. Food was pretty good. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. The bartenders/servers are extremely unfriendly. It was like I was bothering them asking them anything. And they spoke to me as if I was an idiot. Didn't get my order right and honestly even though I literally work next door, I don't think I'll be back for a meal anyway. Been there for many events with no issues. Maybe it's just the day crew. Second time coming here. The first time I was in a rush so I didn't get a chance to enjoy the cool retro decor and "cult classic" ambience. Vintage movie posters, 80's and 90's nostalgia. If you're in the 30+ club, you'd probably really enjoy this place. I did not order alcohol but they do have a wide selection of beers, wines, and boozy milkshakes. I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken and buffalo sauce as toppings. Nor grandma's macaroni and cheese, but more of a late night snack craving vibe. Today was my first visit to Cult Classic, for an afternoon Happy Hour gathering with a local group of senior women friends. At 3:00 pm on a Tuesday, we had the place to ourselves for a little while. We ordered drinks first. I enjoyed their Kolsch, which was excellent. Some of us ordered food (I had a house salad, others had Ceasar or Cobb salad, or the Philly cheese steak eggrolls). I've heard their pizza and other options are good. One member of our group had arranged a behind the scenes special tour, so we were able to see the equipment and appreciate everything that goes into the brewing process--it's a very impressive operation. read more

My husband and I, and sometimes my family, come here for happy hour or to just get together with friends. When the weather is warmer, you can sit outside and have your pup with you! We love coming here because it's got a chill vibe, good food, and good drinks. Sometimes they have live shows going so be sure to check out their schedule if you're interested. They also have games you can play at your table, as well as a few arcade games. The service is great and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. My go to when I come is a cider and some wings. Their wings are large in size so you'll fill up pretty quick. I also love coming on Thursdays because in the side parking lot there's a farmers market, and afterwards, we come have some drinks and a bite to eat. This place has good "brewpub" type food -- burgers, wraps, wings, pizza, etc. we had a chipotle chicken wrap with fries and some wings -- both were really good. Everything was hot and fresh and not greasy at all. It's also got a cool, spacious interior with a high ceiling and some interesting junk around like a Led Zeppelin 3 themed pinball machine. My only beef is, why don't they hire some hosts/waiters/waitresses etc. The current setup, where you walk to the bar, get a menu, find your own table, seat yourself, then walk back to the bar, order, then someone who you'll never see again brings your food, you eat it, then you walk back to the bar to pay, and they stick a tab in your face suggesting you leave a 25% tip, is just complete nonsense. Nobody, and I mean nobody, besides cult classic does it this way, and for good reason. A place this big, that serves food and beer this good, should hire some goddam servers. And I'm not intending to throw any shade against the bartenders, they're quite friendly and helpful. It's just a dumb system. read more

FINALLLLY made it here with my sister on a Monday evening! Plenty of free, surface parking. Dogs are allowed on the patio. There are a few dollars off for drinks/food during happy hour - which is at least up until 7pm Brandon was an AMAZING host. He answered all of our questions, was easy going and honestly also is a huge factor in me wanting to come back! I had a cheeseburger, which was tasty and large. I barely ate half of it there. The fries were good! Think they had old bay - I ate all of those! There are two physical arcade games. A bookshelf with a ton of boxed board games you can take back to your table to use. Tons of TV's all around. There's a backroom with a stage , set up for music and tall high table chairs. Beautiful set up. On Monday's they have open mic night. read more

Funky place. Funny names for their brewed beers. Weekly activities. If I lived here, I might be at Cult Classic on a regular basis just for the activities (line dancing, open mic, comedians, etc...) it's not fancy, but it has a lot going on. Order at the bar, carry your drinks to the table. Someone brings your food to table. Of course, I ordered a flight of beers, but forgot to take a photograph. Cannot remember the names of them, but enjoyed three of fthe four I ordered the BLT wrap and fries. The fries were extra crispy and the BLT was not like lacking on the B. My sister ordered a taco salad, which came in a fried bowl. She did not eat the well done, greasy looking bowl, but said the salad was very good. My brother-in-law order of the chicken wrap & tater tots, which were also extra crispy. You must check out both unisex bathrooms. Funny. As I said, it's not a fancy place if you want some beers, some yummy bar food, and just a place to hang out, this would definitely be a good choice. I was told that the farmers market is in the side parking lot. And one time it started to rain and Cult Classic allowed the merchants to move the farmers market into their side room, where a lot of their activities go on. I came here for trivia and wasn't crazy about the game or the food, it's a little pricey. I just wanted unsweetened iced tea. They really cater to the beer drinkers which is fine, but they need more non-alcoholic choices. Take out food was good. No napkins or utensils...self serve and I nearly forgot! The person who delivered food to me said nothing and looked away to avoid contact. A simple "thank you" would've gone a long way. Stopped in for a burger and a flight. Great day for an outside dining experience. The chocolate cherry porter captures all the flavors well. The strawberry blonde was light and refreshing as was the apple ale. My first time trying a seltzer did not disappoint. The Island Dew was pretty close to the soda. Both the Mushroom Swiss and Blue cheese burgers were juicy and paired with seasoned fries that make ordering another pint an easy choice. The venue is amazing. Fantastic friendly bartenders. It was all a cult indeed! All my favorite classic B movies were on posters lining the walls. Arcade machines, complete with skeeball where you can potentially win beer! A movie theater with comfy couches in one room, a music stage in another. Lots of board games to play, at any high or low top table. There is so much to do... Too bad, for me, the beer didn't resembled the movies they promoted. Grade level B, but in this case not so bad it was good. Granted I liked the Hazy IPA, so I had something I could drink, but the stout was sickly sweet, the Sessions was bud lite-ish, and the IPA had no hops. Would return for an event, or to show off the venue, but wouldn't go out of my way for visit. Fantastic, fun bartenders though, real sweethearts. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My fiance and I were passing through and wanted to try the beer and have lunch. My favorite beers were the Birthday IPA and strawberry blonde (served with a fresh strawberry garish- not touch). I had the Texas BBQ flatbread from their own food truck. It was really good and full of flavor. It is a spacious area with seating for large groups, tons of bar space and couches to hang out. It's a cool hang out. This spot is new on the island and if you love beer then I suggest stopping in for a nice cold one or two or possible three. The staff is great and the layout is nice. The word is a food truck is coming but the do have food limited until things come together. I like to concept but want more food options. This brewery is delightful! Large space great for meeting friends. Games, darts, SKEE-BALL!!! Easily accessible from Annapolis, plenty of parking, great decor. It's cozy, not too loud, comfortable seating. My girlfriend and I got two flights, sampled 10 beers, and really enjoyed all of the brews! They are all very flavorful and finish smoothly. I recommend the Märzen and she liked the Witbier. Awesome place, we will definitely be back! read more

I found out you can exist on Strawberry Blond for at least three days at a time. I have slowly mastered by shuffleboard game, unless you illegally want to play for money, in which case I am terrible, but always looking for a chance to improve my skills. The live music performance room is the sexiest in the area and the Open Mic night was packed with local talent. Probably because they aren't used to the crowd, the service was awful. I came here with my family and they each came back to the table three times, frustrated, saying they were ignored. When I went up, a girl pushed right past me and they took their order. Let's pretend it was a quiet night- the beer was mediocre at best. This may be because they told my family that their water is, "not something you want to drink". I had their winter warmer, and it was very average. I'm not giving this one star because it is a place, with beer, live music, ski ball, big tables with board games, and a big screen tv. So yeah.
