Not quite a year old and CMV is already looking to be a top pick for local wineries. They offer three flights, a variety of white and red, all red, and sweet. They also serve wine by the glass and have varied food menu. We tried the margherita pinsas, a flatbread pizza, and it was very good. Of the five wines I tried four were good to great but I wasn't a fan of the sparkling rose. CMV only accepts credit/debit cards. There's ample outside seating and you can take a short walk to sit by the water.

The property is off…read morethe beaten path and if you blink you'll miss it, but it's picturesque like most wineries are. We were greeted and seated in their back room, and presented with 4 glasses and a charcuterie board (some of the items on the board can be purchased there). Our host was nice, and we got to sample 4 wines (one white, two reds and a dessert/port red). If I'm being honest, the wine was okay...I've come to have low standards for Maryland wine and this was on par. So to recap, nice tour, okay wine, good charcuterie...and none of these are really the reason for the 5 star. As I was sitting there, a random dude in some regular blue jeans and a pullover walked through the patio door and immediately introduced himself as Tom and shook my hand. It wasn't until he made it two more people down that I realized it wasn't a regular dude, but Tom the owner. Tom made his way around the table, then stood at the end of the table and started talking. The more he talked the more it became clear that this wasn't some random rant or rehearsed speech, it was a man who allowed himself to become immersed in his passion right in front of us. I won't say what he talked about because it would ruin it for you if you go and get the chance to meet him (here's a hint, ask him how his past brought him to present), but those 11-13 minutes made the outing worth it and then some. Everyone at the table was fascinated by him and inquired if he planned to host Ted talks in the future. And just as casually as he entered the room, he left. I watched him walk down the road (probably back to his house), just being a regular dude, even though he is anything but.

We ordered flights - 2 rose & white and 1 red. The flight came with 4 wines at 2oz each. It's a bit on the pricier side in my opinion but I did enjoy them. We also got some snacks to munch on which were pretty good. The views were lovely and service was friendly. A really good vineyard find!

They knew their wines EXTENSIVELY and have the best customer service. The hummus plate I ordered inspired me to get the same items and make my own at home lol. The wine I had was delicious and tasted the same way it was explained to me. I'm not sure what kind of audience they are targeting, but when I went, it was mostly a 40 and up crowd (I don't mind). Aside from that, I will be back with my homegirls to enjoy more wine and food!

I had never been to this location and to my surprise this place is located inside of an establishment that has multiple specialty shops. The decor alone expressed love and care along with meeting one of the owners. She came across as warm, inviting and willing to share parts of journey in the wine space. We had great conversations with the staff about wine pairing, where the grapes are harvested so much more. The staff were so knowledgeable. Now, most of wines are dry as I am a sweet kinda girly. I was able to find a wine that fits my tastebuds. We ordered a charcuterie and flatbed pepperoni pizza. It was a great way to celebrate our Anniversary for lunch date before putting up the kids. Will most definitely return.

Booking was super easy and once that was done, I received regular emails from Vino 301 and texts until the day of the tour. We were picked up this past Saturday (4/20) at the appointed location and time. We boarded a very well appointed van with about 4 rows of seats that accommodated us all. I felt very safe on the rides to and from the wineries. Our host and driver were super friendly and treated us like royalty. Prior to arriving at each venue, we were provided some background and things we should know in advance. She more or less herded us from place to place, which was actually quite comforting. I felt very well taken care of AND seen as I was the only one on the tour not drinking, but I was provided water and other beverages over the course of the day. Oh, and the lunch we received was AMAZING. So much food! I had the roast beef BLT, which came with a bag of chips, pasta salad, and a dessert. Definitely recommend!

We hadn't heard of it before, but thanks to the magic of social media, we discovered it and decided to check it out. The space itself is charming and cozy, with neat art on the walls and a great vibe overall. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, but unfortunately, she didn't explain how things worked which led to some confusion. Ordering happens at the counter, then you seat yourself, and later return to the counter to pay. We figured this out ourselves, but a quick orientation would've helped. There were no explanations of the wines, no mention of available food, and we only discovered the charcuterie and samosas by walking around. Even then, the signage was unclear, and the staff didn't offer guidance. Things went further downhill when a large Meetup group (20+ people) arrived shortly after us. The staff was clearly was unprepared. Service slowed to a crawl, and while they did call in backup, it felt like chaos behind the counter. Flights were delivered piecemeal and with some confusion, and at one point, a staff member accidentally knocked over a tray of wine being carried by another. That said, the wines ranged from good to very good and the pours are far more generous than we expected. I had asked about the samosas, and after a vague back-and-forth, was told they'd bring it over. They didn't. Every time someone made eye contact with me, they'd vaguely say "the samosa" without confirming what I ordered (they never asked how many, and only my wife wanted one). By the time we were ready to leave, the place had become far too loud and chaotic, and I didn't even finish my flight. We bought a bottle to go, and again, they mentioned the samosa; at which point I just told them to skip it. This place has potential; it's a cute spot and could be great with better organization and communication. Maybe it runs smoother when there's a smaller crowd. But based on this visit, I'm not likely to return.
