My first time here and I had a great time. The staff was great at giving wine recommendations. That charcuterie board was flavorful and savory. Plenty of spacious parking in the parking lot no payment needed. Definitely will go back for a wine tour and more charcuterie.

This place was way cooler than expected! It's located inside of a building with other vendors (coffee shop, ice cream, distillery). It also has its own parking lot, with plenty of free parking! Always a win when you are visiting a city! The set up was cozy and rustic, with cute decor for Valentine's Day. We ordered wine flight and bread and tapenade to go with it. The wines were pretty good..but the bread and tapenade...best bread appetizer I've ever ordered! Paired very well with the flight. The bar tenders were also very attentive even though it was a busy holiday weekend. Will definitely visit this place again next time we pass through Baltimore! Perfect place for a date night or girls night out!

The wine collective was a nice vibe. Very spacious and the design was open to show the instruments used for production. We came for the vintage film event showing Serial Mom, which was definitely something different to do. The food options were minimal, but we got a couple of sandwiches. I got the eggplant sandwich, which I wasn't a super fan of (between the bread texture and the overall flavor combo) but the chips were good! Service was friendly and above and beyond!

If you are a fan of dry wine this is your new favorite spot. I had a flight including 3 sparkling and one white wine. We had a seat at the barrel which was still very intimate. They also have card and board games which adds to the experience. The winery is located in a warehouse where they actually make the wine. Surrounded by other companies such as rock climbing, brewery, ice cream and more.

I used to come all the time, but because of the distance it's been a while since I had returned. It had been a several years and it looked just the same as I remembered there was plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon. I sat at the bar, I was immediately greeted and given water in a menu. I didn't have any food, but the food did look amazing based on what my neighbors got. They definitely expanded the food menu since I had been there last. The place has a sultry vibe of like dark lighting, but with candle lighting at the tables. There were several big parties in the back that had their own tables and I know there's an automatic gratuity for them. A special promotion for Sundays for groups of six or more get a buy one get one free bottle. The bartender in eligible about the processing that they do in house, but also with the wine and vermouth list I got a tasting of a white, red blend, rosé, and a vermouth for $25. I did like my flight and I was able to read my book. I would definitely recommend this place for groups or girls nights or just to read at the bar. It was very nice and friendly. I will say it's a bit pricey, but that's pretty normal for the DMV.

I think The Wine Collective was the first spot that had tinned fish in the city. I first came here in 2021. I went recently for some wine on a gorgeous day and then went back for a pilates and wine event. There's a private event space for dining and for a workout in the back (I will say the floor is a bit too cold for a class but a fun outing nonetheless). The staff is always so nice and they bring you a bottle of water so you can stay hydrated. The wine is unique - they make all their wines, and some are better than others, but what's special is the vermouth. They do good vermouth spritzes and their offerings of wine is never more than $50 a bottle making it a very affordable place for local wines. Such a fun spot in the Union Mill market area. It's at the furthest end and parking can be challenging, which always blows my mind.

Attended the coffee fest on Saturday hosted by Vent roastery but my favorite part was getting to go to wine collective for the coffee mocktail competition! Very cute and quaint. While there, I also had a coffee cocktail and a wine tasting! Perfect Saturday in Baltimore

The boards curated are amazing. My personal favorite is the bread and tapenade. Honestly, this is filling enough. All of the staff are wonderful with great knowledge and amazing experience to share about the wine. The ability to see the wine being distilled is amazing! An absolute joy to sip wine (especially the Peregrine or Sweet Vermouth Rose) while working. The vibes are immaculate, definitely bring your friends! Also, as someone who went to the same alma marter (UC Davis) as the winemaker John, he definitely knows how to make delicious wine!

What a treat to get taken out to my favorite place for my birthday. We had a reservation for 4 of us and what a night of indulgence! Three tasting flights, 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine, two entrees, one charcuterie board, and two appetizers later.....$240 outing. Worth. Every. Penny. I always order the Smoked Fish Dip when I'm here. You really can't get this delicacy anywhere else. It's smooth and salty. Yummers. The boards can add up depending on what you're craving. Gratuity was included for a party of four - 20%. Alcohol tax also added almost $10. This place is special and unique - plan on spending some money. The wines/drinks are excellent and the tapas they offer are delicious. For my flight I enjoyed the 2021 Petinay, 2020 Vivandiere, Vermu Rose and Vermu Sweet. I absolutely love the Vermu Rose. Amazing. The best part of this place is the ambiance. It's in a warehouse, but when you enter it's like you've stepped into a dark and intimate setting with fairy lights and wonderful scents.

Charcuterie board with 5 options and plenty of fixings

Ah, another visit to The Wine Collective. I came here with one of my friends from DC after she specifically requested their charcuterie board with the candied salmon. Seriously, it never gets old. To my delight, I was told that they have gluten free crackers! They were kind enough to give my friend plenty of bread and me a generous bowl of the gluten free crackers. I had no trouble eating the cheese and meats on their own before because it's just that good but now that I know they have a gluten free option, it's a real gamechanger. I also tried the caesar salad (sans croutons) and the octopus (requested they blowtorch it for me for an extra crisp). We both loved everything! The garlic sauce with the octopus has really grown on me since the last time I tried it. The staff is always so incredibly friendly and ready to find you something you'll love. I mentioned that I love spritzes but when I tried theirs, I thought it was too sweet. One of the staff members suggested I try it with their dry vermouth instead and it was absolutely perfect. They even remembered that I prefer the dry vermouth during my next visit. Gotta love that. Thank you to the staff - John, Felipe, and many more - for always making me feel at home!

I visited The Wine Collective for a small group wine tasting. There were about three parties or groups in the wine tasting. The wine tasting and tour is part of being a wine club member. It lasts about 45 minutes. The owner explained about the grapes and the thought process of what he was trying to make. In addition, he talked about the science behind why things happen a certain way and behind wine making in general. He is extremely knowledgeable and went as far as explaining how the weather affects certain grapes. We were even able to sample some of the unfinished wines just to get an idea and comparision. We tasted 5 or 6 wines during the tasting then stayed to order food and more wine. After the tasting, we got tapas for dinner. I loved the bread that they had. It was charred and had a smoky flavor, with butter and salt on it. We also got the eggplant and the smoked fish dip. The dishes were all incredibly delicious and went well with the wine we ordered. The setting is similar to a brewery where you see all the vats. It is a big and open space. There was a good amount of seating and parking available. We sat at the bar for our food and drinks and the service was awesome. The wines were different from ones I have had before as they came from different grapes. The bartender said the grapes are all grown within 150 miles of the winery. There was even a hazy wine and it had a hazy color to it. I loved my first visit here and can't wait to go back! This place is perfect for a night out with friends or for a date night!

Came here for a yoga and wine event and it was awesome. I previously learned of the wine collective during a Yelp event and couldn't wait to return. I love that it's a collective. Everyone was very nice I didn't have the opportunity to eat but I plan on trying the charcuterie later. The whole place is a vibe . A must visit.

My friends and I paid a visit to The Wine Collective to catch up after work. We went on Wednesday and there was live music which made the vibes even better. We ordered a bottle of wine (15% off wine bottles) to share, as well as charcuterie, smoked fish dip, and the smoked salmon melt. The Smoked Salmon melt wasn't really a melt in my opinion. It wasn't warm and there also wasn't any cheese as described on the menu. The bread was soft and buttery. The amount of mayo was a bit overwhelming, but overall the sandwich was solid. The smoked fish dip was good and the charcuterie was perfect (we ended up ordering another). The service was great. Everyone was attentive and welcoming. I'll for sure be back. I'd say 3.5 stars!

I was really impressed by their commitment to supporting the community and showcasing other small businesses. That intention shows up in every detail, from the collaborations to the overall vibe. The food was so good. The jerk chicken was a standout, flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the charcuterie board was fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully done. Pair that with their wine cocktails and you're in for a treat. They're creative, well-crafted, and honestly some of my favorite wine-based cocktails I've had. What really sets Boyd Cru apart is that it's family-owned and operated, and they truly make you feel like family while you're there. Warm, welcoming, and intentional. Bonus: the space is also available to rent for private events, which is such a great option for anyone looking to host something intimate and meaningful. Highly recommend stopping by, whether for a tasting, a cocktail, brunch on Sundays or to support a local gem that's doing things the right way.

The whole place is a vibe. The decor is thoughtful, intentional, cozy, and inviting. The staff were welcoming, genuine, and extremely knowledgeable. Whether your are vino virgin or a cultured connoisseur, this spot is unpretentious and overwhelmingly welcome. But make no mistake... these ladies know their way around a grape, and they are well equipped to tell you whatever you need to know about what's in your glass. Let's get into these wines. I highly recommend the flight to get familiar with the different wines they have to offer. The Sparkling Vidal Blanc is not included in the pairing, so go on and get you a glass of that too. Trust me. The "Community" Vidal Blanc is easily one of the best bottles of white that has ever blessed my palate. Crisp, refreshing, full of bright, summery flavors but not too sweet... it's practically begging to be paired with a delicious plate of seafood (preferably one cooked with butter and lots of garlic). This is a great sipping wine, and an even better one to pair with dinner. The "Free Spirit" rose is another great sipping wine. Light, slightly sweet, and full of character, this was also a really great glass of wine. I like my reds a little bolder, so the "Living Legacy" red was not my favorite. It was still a good sip, and if you enjoy reds a little on the lighter side, this might be for you. Still worth a try in my book. Now I love bubbles and the only thing I enjoyed more than the vidal blanc was the sparkling vidal blanc! There's so much character in this bubbly... you'll have to taste and experience it for yourself. For me personally, it's high on the list of the best sparkling wines I've every had. If a plain glass of wine is not your thing, no worries. They also offer a number of wine-based cocktails, as well. In partnership with nearby businesses, the winery offers a limited variety of snacks including charcuterie boards, flatbreads, cake flights, as well as trail mix and popcorn available at the bar. I got the Smith Island Cake flight. While it's definitely not authentic Smith Island Cake, it's good to curb a raging sweet tooth. Speaking of partnerships, the winery also offers products from other local small businesses for sale: spices, body care products, jewelry and other items... So you can sip and shop. A few small areas of improvement I would recommend. -More, bigger and better signage...especially on the street. I was driving all around the area, then roaming all over Savage Mill Shopping Center before I finally found my way. -Provide more parking details, landmarks and directions on the website. (I ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood, only to find that there was a free parking lot available). -Expand snack offerings... perhaps sell individually packaged snacks from local businesses for purchase within the winery. -Consider adding a flight that will allow patrons to try all of the wines available. Shoutout to Eden and the crew for such a fantastic afternoon of good vibes and great wine. I'll be back... and I'm bringing friends!

Let me first add the context that I don't really identify as a wine drinker, but will still occasionally visit vineyards because I think the experience is nice. 61 vineyard was a cool spot for sure. They have a nice open location with tons of space (I think they said around 40 acres) and they've been expanding their main location for the four years that they've been open. They have a main tasting room, an expansion seating room, and an outdoor patio area that are all well maintained and great for parties of all sizes. I partook in the wine tasting which was very good and the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to (which I find often makes or breaks wine tasting experiences) The wine itself does seem on the pricier end for what I'm used to where I think the average bottle here goes for over $20. But there are also member and subscription types of services to take advantage of discounts. I'm not entirely sure if they have relationships with food vendors, but they didn't have many food option in the main location itself when we were there. The food options that I saw were prepackaged charcuterie packs, so I would keep that in mind for your visit. All in all a very nice winery spot and would recommend even if wine isn't typically your drink of choice.
