Such a cute little wine bar located inside of savage mills…read more Our waitress today Ms Eden was such a sweet heart. Just loved the energy she was bringing. She did an amazing job explaining the wines and answering any questions we had. My neighbor, during COVID started this wine club and would host virtual tastings. Flash forward to the present every month we pick a spot and meet up there. I love attending the meet ups! Treena is so knowledgeable about wines and is always a pleasure. We were able to preorder which I appreciated to ensure the restaurant had what you wanted. We ordered different flatbreads, charcuterie boards, trail mix, nuts and of course flights and bottles. I really enjoyed the Sparkling Vidal Blanc and the Rosè. Everyone enjoyed their selections. Interior was clean, spacious for such a small place consisted of 3 tables to seat a party of 9...and plenty of seating around the bar and in the front of the restaurant. The playlist was definitely a vibe. Perfect for wine clubs, girls night out or date nights...or if you're just hanging solo and want to enjoy some delicious wine. Glad I got t to check this off my list! Happy Yelping!

My gf didn't even drink the red or the white. I wanted to like the Rose so bad but It really just tasted flat. For a first timer, I'm just expecting to be asked "hey, is It your first time here?", then get a high level run down of what their most popular wines are, maybe a little history esp since they are a fairly new business etc.

The prices for a drink and a small bite were fair - only $10 for a beer and side of fries - but nothing special taste wise. A buddy got wings and said they weren't worth the cost. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the venue itself is beautiful. If you're looking for something to eat before your round, I would definitely check with the staff at clubhouse about food options first, but this is a great alternative if you're looking for a sit-down meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

We tried many wines, including: -the Crossvines Cabernet Franc-raisin and almost Nebbiolo overtones; -the Crossvines Barn Door red blend-balanced and warm with a hint of spice yet low tannin; -the Fairway rosé, which was light with great flavor and perfect with spring foods; -and the Riesling and then house ciders, with cherry and peach popular with different people. We settled on a bottle of the White Blend, the "Front Porch". It was not groundbreaking yet likable worked as a clean canvas that went with a lot of foods, not oaky, tangy, sweet, or dry. I enjoyed the butternut squash soup. I watched my friend enjoying the Farmer's Market salad and wondered if I should have gotten that instead! My friend enjoyed her burger and fries. The burger was pretty big and looked satisfying. My friend said the crab dip was really good, too. The best part for me was trying their wines while engaging with our server and the general manager. We talked about some of the events like wine tasting and menu changes and line dancing. We saw more of the gorgeous venue and bookable space for 300 indoors. It was relaxing and enjoyable and while I couldn't eat many items due to a wheat allergy, I definitely wanted to return soon and enjoy the backdrop and support a local winery.

Booking was super easy and once that was done, I received regular emails from Vino 301 and texts until the day of the tour. We were picked up this past Saturday (4/20) at the appointed location and time. We boarded a very well appointed van with about 4 rows of seats that accommodated us all. I felt very safe on the rides to and from the wineries. Our host and driver were super friendly and treated us like royalty. Prior to arriving at each venue, we were provided some background and things we should know in advance. She more or less herded us from place to place, which was actually quite comforting. I felt very well taken care of AND seen as I was the only one on the tour not drinking, but I was provided water and other beverages over the course of the day. Oh, and the lunch we received was AMAZING. So much food! I had the roast beef BLT, which came with a bag of chips, pasta salad, and a dessert. Definitely recommend!

Our driver, Dan from Reston Limousine, was so courteous, caring, and attentive and made our experience truly royal. He's such a gentle soul and tolerated our loud laughs while driving us to and from the winery. Even though it was pouring on the day of our trip, Dan made sure to offer us a large umbrella and assisted us in getting into a van. He drove carefully and gave us a heads-up on sharp turns and hills. The vehicle was spacious enough to accommodate 8 of us, clean, and comfortable. Communication was clear with the pickup time and location set a week in advance. It was such a memorable experience. My friends and I pledged to repeat the trip to the winery hiring Reston Limousine again soon. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to experience a royal service and spend quality time with friends and family. Trust me, you won't regret hiring Reston Limousine.

Ive been riding Reston buses with my university for now four years…read more I can say with confidence that I DO NOT RECOMMEND any Reston buses for any group. The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

This winery deserves all the awards and promotion that I've seen all socials .... However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.

I came here in September for my birthday and been very hesitant to write a review…read more I forgot how I heard about this place but I was excited because it's the first black owned winery in laurel. I think it's the only winery in Laurel so I definitely wanted to come and support. I first went to check it out and see what information I could get to reserve for a large party. It's kind of located in the cut of main st but there's plenty of street parking. Walk in and you'll see there are two settings. It's very welcoming and warm with beautiful decor and many seating on both sides. I explained to the gentleman what I wanted and he said it shouldn't be no problem just reach out to the events manager. It was a bit last minute, I sent an email on 9/22 to come on 9/28 at 5:30pm (had to confirm the number of people). Just to clarify, we spoke on the phone and email for communication of all information. I noticed they had an event that same day but it started earlier in the day and the events manager told me it should end before my guests arrive. I told her I was having 20 people total and I was ordering two charcuterie boards. Everything was confirmed and good to go as I thought. My guests were letting me know they were arriving but were seated in the smaller area. I was hoping by the time I got there it would be handled but no they already started ordering in the smaller area and the staff there said they were told only 10 people were suppose to come but I showed them the emails. The event they had ran longer than it should have which I wish I would have known just to let my guests know. The staff then tried to fix it but literally a whole hour and half later. Once we got in the event room, we had our charcuterie boards and others order their suya and jollof rice. They did not finish their food, it actually looked dry. Before the day, I was told my guests were not able to do flights but the day of they were able to order. I wanted to order some for the party but it's okay, we all figured out which wine we liked best and a couple bought bottles. To end it, the staff brought out a cute cupcake for my friends to wish me happy birthday. They have a speaker for you to connect if you want to play your own music. Other than that, we had fun. Regardless, I'm going to have fun. I recommend to go and have your own experience. I will definitely come back for a last minute date or just to pick up one of the wine bottles I liked.
