Spent money here. These schmucks just accused me of stealing after trying to leave when they didn't have whatever fruity beverage my wife asked me to get in the first place. I found this store while at the Laurel town center. I didn't necessarily stop in to buy anything, but wanted to see what they had to offer. I'm glad I did. This store has a large selection of just about everything and the flavor selection is huge. All the wines are displayed on one side of the store and the spirits on the other and all the spirits are grouped together by type; i.e, rum, vodka, gin, tequila , and so on and so forth. They even have the minis displayed in bins on the counter next to the register. Like I mentioned. I didn't stop in to purchase anything in particular, but did manage to walk out with three items. A bottle of sangria, a pumpkin cream liqueur, and a bottle of rum. I felt like a kid in a candy store and couldn't help myself. Love the layout. It's a local place. not bad overall with their selection and overall store but every time I have bought craft brews, IPA's and any beer from here - it has always been expired. major turn off as I am a beer snob and having lived in Czech Republic I can most definitely tell you that old expired beer (especially bottled) does not fare well when its been sitting around for many many months. Lots of selection. Also lots of attitude from the owner. Stood by the counter and didn't ever acknowledge us as customers, as in "you ready to check out?" That's a common response, no? Okay, that's fine, not expecting perky customer service at a liquor store. Maybe you are in your own world. But when we asked the cashier to see a bottle of tequila behind the counter, the owner who stood near enough to witness this, curtly told his worker to "don't bother. It's $10,000". Still, not acknowledging us or even talking to us. How did he know I won't buy it? Okay, so I won't buy it because I'm not DJ Khaled but hey, extending courtesy and friendliness isn't gonna hurt anyone. Didn't feel valued as a customer, so won't be back. I love this liquor store! It's fairly new and definitely a hidden gem. They seem to have everything. I've never not found what I was looking for here. They're super organized and helpful if you need assistance. I've noticed they have tastings sometimes but never stopped to participate. They're located in the new Laurel Town Center (adjacent to Harris Teeter) so not hard to miss. The prices here are amazing!!! My favorite Malbec wine is $5 here (everywhere else it's at least $8). There are three liquor stores much closer to home, but I don't mind driving an extra 10 minutes to get to this location. read more

This store has all assortments of my favorite wines, most of which are a bit more challenging to find (at least in Md). The breath of Moscato Di Asti is endless. They sell high, mid and low grades, anything the heart desires. The only drawback are prices. Their assortment of wine and hard liquor are pricey. However, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are bit higher than Total Wine and more....If you don't want to drive up there this maybe safer better location. Plus I need cigars and free liquor boxes for my purchases. None in this store. All the staff is helpful; they have a young Seth Rogan lookin' guy who is very knowledgable with their wide variety of beer selections. So many great options of anything my heart desires. They have a great selection combining classics and tons of modern, local brands I love like RAR. I was pleased to see how well kept the place was and how ample parking is around 3/4 of the building. I am an African American woman. I was racially profiled in this store. I came to the store to make a purchase. I was accused of stealing because I went into my book bag to get my phone. The manager or employee, Kim, came over, began yelling at me, and rudely accused me of stealing. He told me to empty my bag and take all of the items out of my bag in front of customers. He even went as far as calling the police on me before even checking my bags. Telling his employees to lock the doors so I would not be able to leave. I had never been so embarrassed in my life. I then told him that the bottle that I had was on the shelf, I was only going into my book bag to get my phone. Once he turned around and seen the bottle, he said nothing. Not even an apology, telling me it was my fault because I went into my bag. I keep all of my personal belongings in my bag including my purse. If you feel people steal because they have bags, then you should have a bag system where you take bags as people enter. You do not accuse and ridicule someone without knowing the facts. I will NEVER step foot into that store AGAIN! read more

First I went to pay and my existence wasn't even acknowledged as all 3 of the workers were talking to their friend on the other side of the desk no hello no thank you literally not a word was said to me!!. The good thing is they seem to have a good selection, lots of labels I've never seen in the wine section. I picked out a couple bottles I hadn't seen before and enjoyed both. Prices seem decent, perhaps a little high. What I don't like about the wine section is that there is no readily apparent organization. I figured it out eventually that it was sorted by region, but I had to read labels to see that, there was no signage which would have been helpful. Speaking of helpful, I was one of the only patrons, it took about 10 minutes for someone to come ask if I was finding everything okay. If they were busy, sure, that's okay. But they weren't and the employees were just standing and talking by the register. Points for convenient location and selection, but not much else. read more

It's a good thing to have a neighborhood boozery in the new Town Center. I found a lot of craft beer and wines in varied price points. But I didn't find any Lambrusco or either of my favorite imported beers. If you're making a serious alcohol run, Total/Corridor out by the BW Parkway or Old Line in College Park will do better in both wide selection and lower prices, but Laurel is just fine to grab a bottle to go with dinner on your way out of Harris Teeter. read more

How do you check someone out and continue a conversation with others and don't acknowledge the customer? Not one word was spoken to me. When I don't feel like driving to Total Wine, this is where I end up when I need a bottle of wine. This store is located in the fabulous Laurel Towne Center. They have a nice selection of wine & beers, but I did notice that their prices were a tad bit higher than a some other places I have been to. I usually get my Shiraz Jam Jar from Total Wine for $8.99 but it's priced at $10.99 at Laurel Beer & Wine. The employees have been friendly so far and the place is nicely organized. And the best thing about this place is that I was in need of a bottle of wine on Sunday evening and this place is open until 9pm on Sunday's. When I'm over shopping at Harris Teeter, this will be the place where I stop to grab a bottle. read more

This store closes whenever the employees feel like they are tired and want to go home. Was looking for a place to put a order large of Tequila as a special request from a client for an event. Got there to find another customer at the door close pointing to his watch, was there just to check if they had it in their inventory, I do understand that it was 6 minutes before they closed, I had drove to 5 other location and was speeding to catch this one. Guy at the door told me he'd clocked out and he was closed through door. I showed him my phone that it wasn't even 10pm, he said was closed. Told him I drove an hour and asked if he would look up the liquor to see they had what I was looking for. He said no that he was tired and I should come back tomorrow, not sure why I would ever come back to a place that do something like this. I'm sure no one at the store cares about reviews, but I would never do business with this place, as a business owner it's terrible when one employee can diminish a brand. read more
