They have a fair selection of alcohol of different sizes, a chilled section for beers and spirits in the back, chilled sodas in the front and wines of the red and white variety, separated, on the right hand side of the store. Mixers and all that other jazz are in the middle. Also, I don't play the lottery but this store is always with and line. The attendants of the store are helpful and fairly friendly. Their prices may be slightly higher, like 1 or 2 dollars for wine....if you have time go price compare.....off you need convenience, try Laurel Lakes Liquor.

Hello fellow Yelpers…read more Dont shop here the staff "always" has a negative attitude. I went to this shop several times recently ( because its the only store on that block and I was attending physical therapy int he area)until I had my last straw with them . When you shop here they try to make you feel like your business means nothing to them. This is coming from a guy who strictly went in there to buy a bottle of water and a few lottery scratch offs..THE VIBE IN THIS PLACE IS ALLLLL WRONG AND NEGATIVE .. save your beautiful energy and go somewhere where your business is appreciated FOR SURE...I feel that places like this judge you by the color of your skin and not the content of your character.. and thats just wrong ...Goood business is good business and bad business.. I must say this place SUCKS

Terrible do not recommend they are very rude to customers of color to put it plain and simple. Also…read moreon top of that they never have prices on their bottles of wine so you have to constantly go to the register to ask what the price is. This is not OK as sometimes even though we know the wine that we're buying every store has a different price and so I think they do this as not being above board. When I asked the employee and it's been more than one about this they shrugged me off and just basically said give me your money. This is a prime example of a business that is in an urban area that doesn't care anything about the people that they serve I will probably never return here.

Very Disappointing Experience I placed an order online with…read moreLax and Wine 11011 Baltimore Ave Beltsville MD. and went to the store to pick it up. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The salesman I dealt with was rude and nonchalant throughout the interaction. What was even more frustrating was that my prepaid order was apparently canceled without my knowledge or consent. I was not properly informed about the cancellation, and the way the situation was handled made the experience even worse. I understand that issues can happen with orders, but I expect customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, especially when there is a problem with an order that has already been placed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope Lax and Wine & Spirits takes this feedback seriously and provides better customer service and communication in the future. This happened on 11/8/26 at approximately between 2:45 -3pm at Customer Service desk

If you're patronizing this establishment, recognize that you're going to pay WAY more than other local liquor stores. Plus, the outside looks like an old, spooky house turned into a liquor store...kinda sketchy. The inside is extremely small and they have a very limited supply of wine, beer, and spirits. On a positive note, there's plenty of on-site parking and good lighting so you do feel safe walking in and out. Not sure if the guy standing by the door was there to stop shoplifters or to control how many people came in and out cause of Covid, but it didn't make me feel any safer. He was very nice tho! We would only visit again as a last resort, but not any time soon.
