Rise up is an eastern shore staple. Starting in st Michael's, they have expanded all over Maryland and then some. It is worth every bit of hype. The inside is small and just an order counter with pour your own coffee on the back counter. There is plenty of outside seating. They recently expanded so if you order drive thru or mad eggs, it is across the street. The service is quick and a baristas are very sweet and good at their jobs I got a skim latte and it was hot, smooth, and everything you want for a craft latte. They make their own beans and you can tell. My husband got a double macchiato and it was made correctly (which for many places is a feat). Wow is all I can say I this gem. Never in my life have I had a more delicious bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit itself was sooooo buttery and flaky but not too flaky to the point that it fell apart while you were eating it. Bacon was the right amount of crisped for a sandwich. Not a local but I've been to this location in Easton several times. The coffee is always great. Good customer service. Quite charming, but was a little confused on the most recent visit. I realized that the shop had moved its coffee and food service to an outdoor area across the street. Not sure how I feel about that, but overall I'd still recommend going. read more

I've been here before but apparently I didn't leave a review, so I'll remedy that today. A nice local coffee shop serving up their own roast coffees and some teas. They also have a nice selection of some baked goods, sandwiches, and bowls, if you're in the mood for food. Service was friendly and fairly quick. Coffees are pretty tasty, and their Chai Tea Latte is pretty good too. Prices are reasonable. If you don't want to get out of your car, they have a drive up in the lot across the street where you can get a drive up order. There are no seats inside the shop so you'll have to sit in their cafe style seating in front of the shop. Some nice high seats and picnic tables allow you to enjoy the weather if it's nice out. Some seating is under an awning. Not a bad experience and good coffee. read more

Such a great pitstop on our road trips to the Eastern Shore. We stop here on the way back every time, and every time the food and coffee is awesome. It is kind of pricy but they give you so much food that I feel like it's not a bad value. I've been going to Rise up since 2016, and honestly it's changed so much for the worse in my opinion. When you place an online order, you get a prompt it will be ready in 15 minutes. Then when you arrive, your order isn't ready, whether they're slammed or not. I've been met a few times with snarky comments from employees when I even ask about my order. It was definitely large and too much for me to eat in one serving. My dining partner ordered the avocado toast with a fried egg on top that she said was excellent. We highly enjoy this location. We have been here a few times. Before COVID we were able to sit in front of the roasters and enjoy our breakfast. This last time was different but I felt safe. The register was in the window and I ordered a latte that came out perfect temp and delicious. I love their coffee. Our entire family enjoyed theirs. We also needed restrooms and it was nice to see that they brought in port o johns and they were clean. Parking is always easy and the staff is usually pretty friendly. Bottom Line: Reliable coffee, tasty pastries and Mad Egg sandwiches. My husband and I are big up Rise Up fans so we stopped at the Easton location when on our way home from Fenwick Island. I noticed that on the west side of the road they have a drive through coffee stand much like the St. Michael's flagship location. But on the east side of the road they have a bigger location that is a delightfully repurposed gas station. On a late Sunday morning we were easily able to find a parking spot right alongside the building. We both got black coffees and shared the best scone I've ever had. Darn, usually I stick to coffee and eggs but now I know how incredibly good the scones are! I thought the front of the shop was really cute and I liked the Mad Eggs Express station which I hadn't seen before. What I didn't realize is that in the back of the building is where they roast coffee. Had I been there on a day when they were roasting my nose would have lead me back there. Very cool. Service was friendly and we were in and out quickly. Overall, this is a cool spot and I'd love to come back on a weekday when they are roasting beans. read more

Easton location is perfect. I often stop here on my way home from walking RFT in the early mornings. Plenty of choices on how to start your day including yummy food from Mad Eggs, a small pop up hot breakfast truck on the side of the building. In the winter an oat milk latte is my go to, but the spring and summer months, I typically get their cold brew and a breakfast bowl filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage with a side of pico. Plenty of coffee and other merch to give out as gifts any time of the year, and they'll grind the coffee for you! The staff here is awesome! They work hard, but are super personable despite how hectic it gets! If it's too busy to sit outside on the patio, just walk across the street to a large pavilion filled with planed wood tables with enough seating for a large family reunion!! read more

The place is busy, at least the times we went, and I can see why. Not only is the coffee good, but so are their pastries and breakfast (we had the bacon egg cheese biscuit and the rancheros huevos). Workers are friendly and they have it down pack- drinks come out pretty fast even though they're all hand crafted and made to order. The husband likes the fact you can go to the back of the shop to see the roasters. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast only looked like it was served during the morning hours and you order it inside but a trailer sits outside where they prep your order. Everyone raves about Rise Up but I find it to be overrated and attribute that to the area's limited options. Everyone that works there is very friendly and the coffee is decent. I do also like what they've done with the outdoor space across the street. Otherwise, Blue Crab Coffee (in St. Michael's) or the Bāgery offer comparable coffee and better food with indoor seating and no slow moving lines. I don't mind Rise Up I just don't find them to be superior in anything they offer and offering strictly outdoor seating is a major drawback. read more
