Cool place to stop for food or drink, whether you're local or stopping by as you cross the Bay. The inside is like a quirky coffee shop, and very inviting to stay; indeed, there were a number of folks casually enjoying time with companions and a couple working away on their laptops. They have lots of brunchy options as well as sandwiches. My kiddos both chose some of the yummy breakfast pastries and the girl behind the counter said she could warm them up for them - nice! My wife and I each got a bagel sandwich. I got the Lox sandwich - not bad. I've had better, but it was still solid. My wife got the Avocado vegetarian breakfast sandwich and that was really good. I would have loved to have tried any of their açai bowls, but I was not going to be able to eat all of it! Next time, then. The bathrooms are single person rooms and the Men's room was clean. They had a changing table, but it seemed to have a lower weight capacity than some of the others I've seen, fwiw. Good place. Would come back!

I had a delicious Pitaya bowl and avocado toast. The avocado and tomatoes were fresh and delicious--the toast doesn't look like much but it packs a punch. The fruit bowl was also delicious l. Plenty of seating, fast service, and just a nice surprise in this little strip mall. Oh! And I had a decent latte as well.

The menu had a lot of interesting options. The person taking my order was very sweet. Food took a very long time. We ordered a plain buttered bagel, a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, and a plain bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and bacon. All of the bagels were burnt from being over toasted but were still tasty. My iced matcha latte was heaven. This was a cool place that would be great for a date or a relaxing hang out.

Great Açaí bowls and breakfast sandwiches! We stopped in while traveling and grabbed food to go. The wait was pretty short and food was amazing. An Americana was my coffee choice. Nice warm spot to relax and enjoy breakfast or a brunch. They also have outdoor seating. Try it you'll like it!

We found ourselves in Kent Island, kind of by chance. We were looking for a restaurant to try and found this adorable cafe. There are plenty of vegetarian options, which is key for us. Two of us got acai bowls and one ordered the avocado swiss veggie wrap. We were all happy with our orders. I think the favorite was the pura vida choco-nut bowl. The cafe itself is very cute. There are various seating options, and I believe I recall outlets, if you need to charge your device. The staff was kind and happy to answer questions.

We've been here for lunch and breakfast. The service is consistently friendly and welcoming and the food is fresh and delicious. Today I had the Pepper and Onion Bowl with Bacon (egg and potatoes). YUMMY!!

Nice and small cafe that was excellent for visiting after a day at the beach. The fruit bowl selection was plentiful and everything tasted great. The prices were a bit on the higher side but what isn't now a days? The ice chips in the fruit bowls was also peculiar and showed something was frozen and not all made that day.

The bagel sandwiches are delicious!!! I can't comment on much more as this is all we've tried so far but we are very impressed. Compared with other bagels on KI, yo Java bowl blows them out of the water. These bagels are hard and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how bagels should be. Not dry at all. The bagel filling was also really yummy and fresh. You can tell they take pride in making delicious food! Fast service too, we ordered online and picked up within 10-15 min. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

The aloha pineapple smoothie was so good. Got it with 5 minutes and did not give me a brain freeze.

It feels like a genuine escape from the usual crowded spots. The Highlights * The Standout: You absolutely must try the coconut cake. it was incredibly impressive. The cake itself was perfectly moist, but the real star was the layer of custard inside. It added the perfect texture without being overly sweet. * The Brews: We tried two of their specialty drinks: the Smoothie Criminal and the Morgan Wallen Spicy Latte. Both were decent, solid companions to the star of the show (that cake!).

You walk right up to the counter and situated just to the left are the dessert and pastry cases. It's so difficult to choose just a few things. I was living enviously through the people in line in front of me who spent $80+. I ordered a lemon and raspberry custard pastry, a peanut butter nutty cold brew, two cookies and a cheesecake brownie to go. My total was around $30 before tip. This place certainly isn't cheap, but the view and quality of the product is worth it. I throughly enjoyed sitting outside at a high top, enjoying the breeze and view, drinking my coffee. All of the seating is seat yourself and they have plenty of options both inside and outside. The patio had a ton of umbrellas to help shade you from the strong summer sun. I'll definitely stop back when I'm in the area.

No glazed doughnuts... again. ‍…read more I stopped by today before noon just to grab my mom a glazed doughnut, and somehow they were already completely out. This is honestly becoming a pattern every single time I come here. How does a doughnut shop consistently run out of the most basic and popular item -- glazed doughnuts -- before lunchtime? It's frustrating because the doughnuts they DO have are usually good, but product availability is terrible. You would think management would notice this keeps happening and simply make more. Running out once is understandable. Running out constantly feels like poor planning and lack of attention to what customers actually come in for. At this point, I almost expect them to be out every time I visit, which is sad for a place that literally sells doughnuts.

Small tables but decent number of tables on the inside. Parking lot is oddly designed and a bit small given how busy they are. If you park in the parking lot, there's a decent chance that the drive-through lane will block you in when it is busy. People seem to park across the street to avoid this. Obviously, they follow the national chain menu. One comment: check your munchkins before you leave if you do mobile pick up. I don't know if they have a problem with the mobile receipt/ticket print out but recently my munchkins were not the correct type as ordered on the app.

I'll be honest I'm still conflicted about this location…read more The good: The food is pretty decent and well prepared. Not amazing, but solid. Decent set of breakfast and lunch options for a counter café. Love the curry chicken salad. The dressing for the southwest chicken salad is not great - I would ask for a different dressing or mix it with some ranch at home. The bad: this place is very Variable in turnaround time and wait time. I've gone when they've been empty and had my food prepared rapidly, but l've also gone when they've been pretty empty and waited what seemed like a long time for a simple order. When they're busy and get in the weeds, the line can stretch out the door. All of this seems odd for a location inside of a hotel/event venue like this. Does the management team not coordinate with the hotel staff to know which weekends are hosting weddings, etc.? They should be prepared for a breakfast rush the Saturday after Friday wedding. And regardless, why are they not adequately staffed on weekends in general? I have been here several times on a weekend and it's always understaffed compared to the number of people waiting for food. Recently I walked in and looked at the line, looked at the staffing, and I just walked out. Today (Friday) I came and was the first person in line, although I think one or two people were waiting on active orders. The only dish I ordered was a Caesar salad with blackened salmon. It took 25 minutes for them to cook a single piece of salmon. People who came and got in line after me and ordered after me had their food made and delivered before I got my food. This was despite having tons of people working every station. This was not a staffing issue, but an inefficiency and poor workflow issue. I don't know exactly what the issue is back there but it's clear they have some significant problems with getting orders out on time - and that is not related to the amount of staff they have. Bottom line: if you come on a weekday or in the off hours for lunch, you're probably going to do fine. I would not recommend coming here for breakfast unless you are staying in the hotel and even then I would make sure you leave plenty of time to wait.
