Great cafe nestled in the beautiful town of St. Michael's. Boaters this is wonderful place to come ashore to for a morning pastry and coffee. My straight black coffee was excellent! Come here and take your coffee with you to enjoy while you walk around town. I took the Beet Lemonade to-go to enjoy later on my voyage back across the Chesapeake Bay, and it turning to be delicious and refreshing. Service was great and you're greeted with a smile. read more

Nice to see a place that serves vegan and vegetarian food. The food is displayed prepackaged in a cooler, you choose what you want and pay at the counter. Some of the dishes will be heated for you. There are tables in the front and in the back. The atmosphere is nice but nothing fancy. Mostly self service. read more

We had the Vietnamese style coffee and a drip coffee. Maybe it was an off day but they were some of the worst coffee drinks. The drip coffee was watered down and flavorless. The Vietnamese style coffee was just so off the mark in terms of flavor. We did have a jalapeño cheddar scone which was not bad, except for the cheese on top that was burnt. read more

So happy I stumbled upon this cute spot. Food/drink: They have prepared meals, sandwiches, bread, kombucha, juices, pastries, coffees, teas, and so much more. Very fresh locally sourced food and excellent coffee. We were skeptical that food that was pre-made and in the refrigerator case would be very tasty, but we were wrong! Disclaimer: I have only been to the Easton location so far, but I look forward to visiting this one the next time I am in the area. Since the food is about the same, I figure my review from the Easton location would still be useful. Ever since I discovered this spot I've made sure to stop by on every trip to the eastern shore. I dig that they create food made with simple ingredients, local and organic when possible. Staff has always greeted me cheerfully and ready to help. Savory: I love the selection and quality of their meals - most have a healthy portion of vegetables and some form of protein, along with some vegetarian-friendly (and vegan too I believe) options. My go-to each time is the thai peanut chicken, where the marinade on the meat is magic and the peanut vinaigrette is worth every drop on crisp, colorful vegetables. I just tried the bahn mi wrap this weekend and it was fabulous!! The wrap is a healthy portion size for the price, with filling all the way to the end (instead of a bunch of extra dough). It is so flavorful that you don't even have to use the sauce for it to be tasty. Side of sweet pickles was also yummy - I wish there was a little more of it. Bread - the Greek sourdough is amazing sliced, toasted and buttered! I have also found the Challah tastier than from grocery stores, even Whole Foods. Sweet: I enjoy regularly picking up the strawberry "brownies." They are pretty rich and dense but have a zippy natural strawberry flavor that's not overpowering. I have also enjoyed their babka, banana-walnut and coconut-rum muffin tops. The gluten free low-sugar brownies were decent given the challenge, more like a soft dense moist cake and not very sweet (so no loads of sugar substitutes). Drink: Vietnamese coffee!! I rarely put sweetener in my coffee but I'll make an exception for this. The honey gives it a more complex flavor. Sometimes it is strong/sweet enough that I pour it over a ton of ice and wait for some to melt (though I'd prefer it a little less sweet). read more

Stopped in for a quick bite after Christmas Eve shopping. I had never been in before and was pleasantly surprised by their food selection. As someone with a dairy allergy I tend to be limited on a lot of grab and go foods. Eat Sprout had a fantastic selection of dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan meals. Went here twice. Baked goods were okay. First time we went in they were out of an iced tea we wanted. Second time we went in they had turned the espresso machine off 40 minutes before closing and refused to make any drinks with espresso in them (most of the drink menu). Also no trash cans to be found. Had to take our trash outside both times. read more
