Sunday 1/11/26 Once again, another spot that I found with the help of yelp as the high ratings & reviews definitely gained my attention. I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Had breakfast one morning at this small popular eatery while in town with friends. Walk up counter service, with menus on the board, along with paper menus. Place your order, pay and get a number then grab a seat. Breakfast on the waterfront is whats here, with a few seats inside. Some benches are outside as well down by the waters edge and marina. It was a nice sunny morning on our visit so we grabbed a bench outside and waited for our number. Biscuits and gravy with two eggs over medium, the biscuits were good and the gravy better than average and its pretty hard to mess up a couple eggs. All in all a decent enough breakfast. The location makes this place what it is, a waterfront breakfast joint. Small interior, busy and not much of a place to sit and enjoy other than outside. This is a cute small eatery bustling with patrons. There was a small wait to order our food. The staff were friendly and allowed to customize my breakfast sandwich. We ordered two classic egg sandwich with meat. I liked that they offered turkey bacon as I do not eat pork. My sandwich was on an egg muffin. It was delicious but I wished that the turkey bacon was crispier. My wife had bacon and she chose an everything bagel as her choice of bread. She enjoyed the breakfast sandwich but mentioned that the bagel should have been toasted. We also had hash browns which were so good! My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice spot for brunch while on an overnight trip to Annapolis, and Google led us here. Location is amazing. Gorgeous views of the water and boats in the marina. Outdoor tables right next to the boats. We even got to see a giant boat being moved that went right past our table. Ordered our food inside at the counter, and they brought it out to us. Surprisingly little to no seafood on the menu given its proximity to the water. My girlfriend got the Hippy Hash Skillet with marble rye toast, and I got the brunch burger with house chips. She loved her rye toast but said everything else was just ok, and I loved the chips, but I was very underwhelmed by the burger. I asked for it medium but there wasn't a trace of pink on the inside. In addition, while writing this review I looked over their menu again and realized my burger was supposed to come with roasted garlic aioli and maple bourbon bacon jam, but came with neither. This would have been an easy fix at the time but I just didn't remember these two ingredients were supposed to be part of it. So all I got was a dry burger with a hash brown and a fried egg with the yolk cooked through. Came here for the first time for Sunday brunch. Very crowded, but that's expected (and a good sign!). There was live music outside by the water. You order at the counter and then find a seat. Lovely place ! Came on Monday and found a parking spot right away. Close to the beautiful marina and colorful murals. You can see the Naval Academy from the place. Food is delicious. In the charming neighborhood of Eastport along the water is an equally charming cafe that serves breakfast all day. The menu is big with lots of comfort foods like pancakes, but I ordered the Southern Chicken Biscuit and I wasn't mad about it. On a busy Sunday around 11:30am, it took ten minutes for the food to come, but when it did, I was happy. A fried chicken breast comes on a warm biscuit with bacon, cheese, fried egg, and sriracha honey. Don't worry. It's not spicy. In fact, I wanted an extra side of the hot honey. Really cute little dockside eatery in a cozy space with outdoor seating. I was in Annapolis just for fun and wanted to try a local spot for lunch. It was hard to tell online if there was indoor seating--there is a bar with stools and a couple tables. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. The menu was interesting, there were vegetarian/vegan options and all day breakfast. I got the black bean with butternut squash grain bowl. It was a bit underwhelming. I didn't like that the quinoa was served cold, then topped with some hot ingredients. It didn't taste very good with cold quinoa. If it had been warmed up it would have tasted a lot better. Nothing was really seasoned and the dish relied heavily on the dressing for flavor. I kept looking over at the guy next to me who ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich (which looked amazing), yearning for some flavor. Mixed reviews for our table, but I would return for their lunch sandwiches. Skip breakfast items, especially the biscuit. One exemption was rhe buttermilk pancake, that was tasty. The ITEM to get was the toasted sandwich and the taste of chicken and avocado was perfection. Some fyi's would be that they give tou a cup for water to be filled by fountain type device outside. Annapolis has a number of vibrant local gathering spots, but Bread and Butter Kitchen is at the top of the list. They have added to the original space so they have multiple seating options: Counter stools, cozy tables, and even a couch. There is a conference room space that can be booked for meetings, and it is lovely--so nicely decorated and fully equipped. My senior women's group met there this morning for a coffee gathering. Today was a rainy morning, so the marina waterside tables were not in use. But we had such a nice, cozy gathering in "The Hub." The coffee bar has multiple coffee offerings, and a number of flavoring syrups. And the scones are to die for! I had a blueberry scone that was pure heaven. The owner goes out of her way to greet guests, and the whole staff is consistently friendly. No wonder the line is often out the door. On weekends, they often have musicians playing outside. It is a community-centered, warm, and inclusive establishment with a very positive vibe. They also do catering. I really enjoyed our visit here! We came for the 4th of July for lunch. It was very busy but they kept the line moving quickly. Food only took 15 minutes to come out! Seating is limited but we were able to grab some at seating by the window. The chicken biscuit here was by far the best part of the meal! It's a honey sriracha and was perfectly seasoned/garnished. My fiancé and I came here off of a recommendation from a friend. The experience we had may have been so confusing simply bc we entered into the wrong door first. The address is suite A, but we entered into the suite B part where you can sit and eat. The dining room is nice, clean and on a Friday morning in the winter, SO QUIET. So much so, that we felt like we couldn't talk in there as not to disturb anyone. The room kind of looks like an office...so we didn't even know if we were allowed to sit in there. (Which, again was maybe our bad for not going into the suite A part first) We sat down, ordered from the QR code on the table, and a tip was requested right away before we got anything. () When our food came it was cold; maybe because it was walked over from next door? I had to walk next door to get our beverages. It was all just very confusing and not the "normal" dining experience. We didn't even know what to do with our plates when we were done. No one came to check on us throughout the meal so we had to catch a server as they were helping someone else and ask what to do with our finished food. The blueberry pancake (also cold) was phenomenal- if there was a microwave in the eating area we definitely would've used it. The hash skillets we got did not have much flavor and was burnt in some sections. The owner walked in (I only knew it was her from the cafe's instagram) and didn't speak to us. Again, maybe because we're just visiting is the reason why this experience seemed so odd, but I'd think the fact that we stuck out like sore thumbs would prompt a server or the owner to explain to us how the ordering system worked-or at least ask us if it was our first time there. My husband and I went here for the first time this morning to get breakfast. It was not at all what either of us expected. However, it was not bad. It is a counter style restaurant. That means, you get a menu, choose what you want, and then order and pay for it at the register. They gave us the number and we want to sit down and wait for our food. We sat at a counter that faces outside. However, I get the impression most people sit outside because they have ample seating outside. I don't think it's necessarily the place where people would sit inside. My husband ordered the sausage gravy and biscuit, and I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. We also got coffee, which is self serve. The food came in reasonable amount of time. My husband said his meal was good and enjoyed the bacon that also arrived with his meal. Its sweetness balanced the spice in the gravy. My pancakes tasted fine, however, were a tad rubbery, and a bit difficult to cut. It was a large portion, however! The staff was friendly. The Wife & I wanted to get out of the house & enjoy some good breakfast this morning & somehow managed to stumble on Bread & Butter Kitchen & we are so glad we did. The good: 1.) Well, I should start by saying I'm currently writing this review while sitting at a table having just ate my delicious breakfast, looking out the window at a beautiful view of water, boats and all of Annapolis' little charm. Bread & Butter Kitchen is tiny, but it's in the greatest location. They even have outdoor seating which I imagine is in high demand during the spring & summer seasons. 2.) The food. We had the Southern Chicken Biscuit(me), Pancakes and Turkey bacon(the kiddo), and the Hippy Hash Skillet. My Southern Chicken biscuit was absolutely delicious. It came with bacon, a perfectly fried egg, and a hot honey that put that deliciously cooked chicken breast over the edge. 10 out of 10. The next star of the show was the hash skillet which is one big hodgepodge of yummy breakfast food in one - Scrambled Eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage & ham. For me, this was delicious, especially considering the portions of pork weren't overpowering. The Pancakes were really good, too. I'd love their batter recipe & the Ice Coffee was a hit as well. The Bad: 1.) TBH, there really isn't any bad. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 bc of the lack of space which is a very real thing. We sat inside but it was a little uncomfortable considering we were crammed but that's it. Ragz and I stopped by for a late breakfast today, while on our way to Kent island. The wait to get our food was a little long but we found a shaded table to sit outside and just enjoy the weather and scenery. They messed up my order by double charging me for fries and for the seasoned home fries but by the time I noticed, it was too late. I ordered the veggie omelette and a side of biscuit, Ragz had the chipotle chicken sandwich with home fries ( and regular fries based on how they put it in). The omelette was okay - the peppers inside it were too charred and the spinach was overcooked. I ended up picking out the spinach and peppers from my omelette, which did not make for a good experience. The biscuit was delicious, rather big with not enough butter smeared on it in my opinion. My ice tea was good - pretty strongly brewed. Ragz' chipotle chicken sandwich was doused in way too much oil/ butter and the chicken was overcooked. There was over greasy bacon added, which while delicious, was a bit much. Not enough flavor in the chipotle sauce either. The fries were good. The seasoned home fries were the biggest disaster in my opinion. It was a mush of half cooked potatoes with undercooked onions and zero flavor. All our food also came out cold, like it had been sitting out for a while. I think m my 3 stars are for the ambience and the live music.
