the barista working at the time was absolutely the sweetest girl ever, i simply asked her what the best drinks were & she went out of her way to make me her go-to order - yes, it was delicious. good little coffee shop on the annapolis harbor, can't go wrong with rise up coffee.

Rise up is located in the Market House near the flag on the map

Coffee is great! Service, prompt and friendly! Baked goods are yummy! Wonderful way to start the day by the water and boats.

Local coffee chain from the eastern shore. Can only speak to their coffee from this location but it's the same good quality you'd expect from Rise Up. Would recommend grabbing a cup for your DTA stroll.

Bottom Line: Little coffee counter in the corner of the market serving delicious coffee and pastries. My husband and I are both regulars at Rise Up so on a chilly Sunday while walking downtown Annapolis we decided to visit the newest Rise Up location in the Annapolis Market House. Rise Up is located on what I would call the back corner of the Market House that looks out on Iron Rooster and McGarvey's. This particular location mostly consists of a counter to order coffee beverages and pastries and then there is communal seating inside the Market House and outside. My husband and I got our usual which is just a brewed coffee with a lil sugar and whole milk. At this location they add the milk or cream (cold fixin's) to your cup and then the coffee is self-serve in big thermos dispensers. Sweetners, cinnamon and such is next to the coffee dispensers. For those wanting something fancier they do also do lattes, iced drinks, cold brew, espresso and such. They do not serve Mad Egg products at this location but they do have some light cafe food like muffins, oatmeal and acai. The staff was friendly and there was a steady stream of customers so I guess those Rise Up flags outside are doing a great job of directing customers to this wonderful local business. I believe this is Rise Ups 11th location!

Iced matcha latte in almond (half sweet & one pump sf vanilla) 9/10

Cute coffee place right across the dock in downtown Annapolis. Got a iced matcha latte. Was good!

Pumpkin latte one of the best lattes I've ever had

Both the Carmel ice coffee and pumpkin latte was super good. Ofcourse the pumpkin was my favorite. Definitely give it a try ! Loved how they had milk substitutes, I put oatmeal in my coffee always.

Breakfast sandwiches were pretty good, coffee was okay. Good seating options if you go in the morning before the attached restaurant opens.

The food was pretty good. However, the portions were very little for the price I paid for my breakfast sandwich.

There's a small kids' area inside with tiny chairs and books, which is such a nice touch if you're coming with little ones. Outside, there's a patio space with the cutest little tree fairy house for kids to play in, which honestly makes the whole place feel a bit magical. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, whether it's for a quiet coffee break or a casual outing with my kid. Thanks for having a beautiful place for the community to come together!!

Yes it's not just coffee it's a bookstore with a real live mascot in Ferguson the friendly Bernice Mountain dog. Check out the drink specials it will be worth your while to order one because can't get them year around. The pasties or good as well, just ask them to heat them up because they are cold! My only complaint is they didn't heat up our pastries and by time I sat down I don't want to get back in the long line to ask them to heat them up. Of course I could just skip the line but did I mention it's small and cramped to navigate. There is a downstairs so be sure to check it out. My tips is to order what you want, say hi to Ferguson and stay a while.

I actually came Thursday morning and ended up leaving because the line was long. I didn't have time to wait just to order and then wait again for food. On Friday, I did it the smarter way and ordered ahead online, then picked up from the Mad Eggs food truck in the rear, which worked out way better. I went for breakfast and ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese biscuit ($10) and breakfast tots ($4.25). The order took about 20 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed it was around 9:00 a.m. I even noticed people waiting in their cars before heading up to the truck, so the timing felt realistic given the volume. If I had more time, I would've waited without an issue. Food-wise, everything was good, but I had mixed feelings. The biscuit sandwich tasted fine, but for $10, I expected more. It wasn't loaded, and at that price point it just didn't quite make sense to me--I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's hard not to compare when it's a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese. The breakfast tots, on the other hand, were the better deal. I liked these a lot. The portion made more sense for the price, and I really liked that you're encouraged to customize them. That part was right up my alley. With all the topping options, I do wish they offered a sauce or gravy option (like sausage or country gravy), but even without that, this is something I'd order again and again. The coffeehouse itself is small but clean and quaint, with a few tables. Parking out front is very limited--maybe five cars--but there's more space in the back near the food truck, and there's a rear entrance, which is probably the best move. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even from inside you can tell things are run pretty smoothly. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that side much, but I've had food brought home from here before by my wife and really enjoyed the matcha tea smoothie in the past. Overall, I'd definitely return. I think Rise Up does a good job in general, and I've enjoyed their Severna Park and downtown Annapolis locations before. I just expected more out of a $10 biscuit sandwich--but I'd happily come back for the tots and other menu items.
