Love this coffee shop! This is the location but they're all pretty good and they're fast and have some of the best coffee in Annapolis! I like that they seasonally change their menu and the locations with the food trucks have great breakfast food! Bottom Line: Little coffee counter in the corner of the market serving delicious coffee and pastries. My husband and I are both regulars at Rise Up so on a chilly Sunday while walking downtown Annapolis we decided to visit the newest Rise Up location in the Annapolis Market House. Rise Up is located on what I would call the back corner of the Market House that looks out on Iron Rooster and McGarvey's. This particular location mostly consists of a counter to order coffee beverages and pastries and then there is communal seating inside the Market House and outside. My husband and I got our usual which is just a brewed coffee with a lil sugar and whole milk. At this location they add the milk or cream (cold fixin's) to your cup and then the coffee is self-serve in big thermos dispensers. Sweetners, cinnamon and such is next to the coffee dispensers. For those wanting something fancier they do also do lattes, iced drinks, cold brew, espresso and such. They do not serve Mad Egg products at this location but they do have some light cafe food like muffins, oatmeal and acai. The staff was friendly and there was a steady stream of customers so I guess those Rise Up flags outside are doing a great job of directing customers to this wonderful local business. Careful where you step... read on. Pretty awesome spot but it's a bit of a crunch for space. SO they are in the Market place. We went on a Saturday morning around 8 am. There was a line and but it moved pretty quickly. My friend's order was missing the mocha in it, but they fixed it right away and added it. Mine came out okay but it was just a cortado. Parking is a bear around here, so you can expect to walk to get here. You order inside, you get the drink outside, but be careful where you STEP, there was three piles of vomit from the night before I imagine. It was very dirty outside and it made me feel quiet embarrassed for them. Maybe the city should clean it or maybe they should just before opening, but ick ick ick and then I slipped. Made me not want to return to this location. But the drinks were good, as usual. I know the vomit wasn't their fault, but if this is where you choose to have your business, maybe maybe might want to make sure your pick up counter doesn't have land mines where clients need to walk around or slip in gross things.
