    Coffee Holiday Gift Box/Columbia Roast
    Graciela P.

I was able to order a holiday kit from Innerloop Coffee Roasters right before the holidays. So I got my package which included a Homemade Biscotti and a gold coffee spoon which is also a clip. Nice! I decided to get the Columbia Dark Roast as an espresso grind so I can use the Moka Pot to brew this coffee in. Once it was opened it smelled very fresh. You could smell that little hint of vanilla and something else. (The bag says tasting notes of vanilla, sugar cane and caramel) I grabbed a shot glass so we could taste the coffee by itself and it was pretty good. Not a bitter taste, you could taste the hints of a little bit of sweetness behind it not too much and you can actually drink it by itself. But we wanted that little froth to go with it so I hooked it up. Coffee was pretty good. I would definitely order from them again!

Talk about a flavorful and delicious cup of coffee!! I was able to try their single origin Costa Rica blend and I loved that I could taste the notes of brown sugar, chocolate and black currant. My parents are avid coffee drinkers and absolutely loved this blend! Megan and Gregory (owners and coffee roaster wiz's) really put a lot of thought into where the pick where they want their coffee to come from, and it definitely shows. You can either order whole beans or have it grind it to your preference based on how you brew your coffee.

Don't miss out on this delightful mom and pop shop at the Westover farmer's market. Greg and Megan love what they do and it shows!

Really amazing cafe that differentiates itself by making their entire pastry case in-house. It was…read morereally hard to select anything to eat because all the pastries were fresh and beautifully baked with toasted with a rich golden brown. I got the savory pie that was stuffed with an unctuous gumbo filling made with creole spices, the holy trinity (onions, peppers, and celery), and a generous portion of chicken. The pie pastry had a perfect flaky crumb that held the filling together. A friend had their breakfast sandwich, which had a rustic and delightful tang from the inclusion of sourdough in the biscuit batter that paired well with the thick slab of egg and crispy bacon. Incredibly savory items. I'm always gravitated towards how well a cafe can do a savory menu and this exceed my expectations. Friends I came in with who got their coffee said that it was very delicious, and the baristas can make a beautiful frothy and rich matcha latte. Its both parts technical skills to pull coffee or whisk matcha and sourcing of high-quality ingredients. Drinks make up a large part of any cafe, so to do it well here in this neighborhood cafe is exceptional. The baristas are running that place like a tight ship! Tip well!

While parking is available in the lot behind the shopping strip this place is in (at the corner of…read morethe strip), it's not for the faint of heart. The spots are close together and the ratio of business to spots isn't good. There is a helpful parking guide on the street side entrance, although you can also access the place in the back from the parking lot. They have entrances on both the street and parking lot sides. Inside is clean and was pretty busy despite it being near closing time. I came for a Too Good To Go bag to try this place out. Overall, the baked items tasted good. However, it's not something I would purposely make a return trip for.

The storefront itself is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. I will say the parking was kind of weird, It's not a super obvious place and we ended up driving right by it. Parked a couple blocks down and walked over, but otherwise you should be able to find a spot no problem. The baristas were super friendly and patient with us while we looked over the menu. My friend got the (Real!) strawberry match and I got the banana cream matcha. Both were super delicious! The strawberry did taste very fresh and real, and the banana was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my craving. Overall, I will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody in the area.

We ordered a drip (freshly brewed), a Banana Bread Latte, and a Pistachio Latte - unfortunately, the coffees were just not strong, and both lattes were super weak and didn't have any distinct flavor to them; they literally tasted the same. The cashier was super sweet and friendly, but the baristas could have been dressed in a smile. The cafe itself is small and have limited tables, but there are also benches outside in their small patio-like area. It seems as if there's somewhat of a limited staff, but the tables/seating areas are not well kept - surfaces could be wiped down often. Parking is available in the shared lot, but can be tight; there's also residential spots as well. No dice, Frame. +watered down lattes +weak coffee +limited seating +parking available

I have found the coffee shop I didn't know I was looking for…read more My wife told me I needed to check out Weird Brothers Coffee because, as she put it, "You're a huge Star Wars nerd. You're going to love this place." She knows me well. Walking into Weird Brothers feels a little like stumbling into the cantina after taking a wrong turn through Mos Eisley. The place is loaded with Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia. As a longtime Star Wars fan and hardcore comic collector, I immediately went into "Okay, let's see what they have" mode. And that's before even getting to the coffee. Weird Brothers roasts their own beans and has a bunch of sci-fi-themed blends. The names alone had me reaching for my wallet. I'm the kind of person who will buy a comic because it says "First Appearance" on the bag, so naturally I'm susceptible to coffee with a geeky name. They even have a special blend for the CrossFit gym next door, which I thought was a pretty cool touch. Nothing says community partnership quite like supplying caffeine to people voluntarily throwing heavy objects around at 6 a.m. Supporting your neighboring businesses? +5 reputation points. Now, about the food... Come here for the coffee. When we visited, they were completely out of the breakfast sandwiches. The remaining options were quiches, so we grabbed the ham & cheese and spinach. Unfortunately, they weren't freshly made and were simply reheated. They were perfectly edible, but definitely more "side quest" than "main storyline." The Americano, however, was good. That's what brought me back to the primary mission: coffee and geeky stuff. I definitely want to return and pick up a few bags of their beans. At this point, I'm basically looking at the coffee menu the same way I look at a wall of long boxes at a comic shop: "I don't need all of these... but I should probably check every single one just in case there's a key." Four stars for the coffee, atmosphere, in-house roasting, and ridiculous amount of geek cred. The food kept this from going to five stars, but I'll absolutely be back. Now excuse me while I go investigate these coffee blends like I'm hunting for a first appearance of Boba Fett in a stack of back issues. May the roast be with you.
