baristas were kind and the interior is really nice! there isnt a ton of seating (it is a tiny cafe) so i dont recommend going there with the expectation of working or sitting for long. that said - we got a decaf cortado and lemonade. pricier than others but to be expected due to location. decaf is not as dark as i usually like, but was still made perfectly in terms of ratio. quality is on point. read more

It's an experience. In the immediate area there are just not many places where you can get coffee like having a coffee date and then go shopping for clothes within the same room. It's quite fun for the first time. The offering and taste of coffee is okay. The service is a bit slow and there tends to be a line. Walking around the Tyson's Galleria my husband and I decided we could use a coffee. We had seen a sign for "Ralph's Coffee" so we headed that way. As we approached I realized that "Ralph" was actually Ralph Lauren. Ok, cool. The little coffee shop has quite a European feel and is absolutely charming. I always hear about this cafe in Tysons Galleria so had to check it out! It's a cute NYC style cafe connected to the Ralph Lauren store. It's a small coffee shop that had a line of customers coming out the door, and some indoor seating, otherwise you may have to finding seating elsewhere in the mall. Even with a lot of customers the sevice is pretty quick. The coffee it's self was okay, I just got an iced latte and my partner got a cortado. The coffee tasted like any other coffee I've had at other coffee shops, so wasn't super impressed for the price. But the vibes were great to say the least. read more

Truly in an interesting place for coffee. You have one side being all Ralph Lauren clothing products and in this small corner of the store, there's a small, quaint coffee shop to keep your mind at ease and relax for a bit before your next store visit. Ralph's Coffee is pretty despite the amount of limited space it is. There's walls filled with coffee and portraits of coffee being brewed, the merch on the side with the giant shelves, the small tables that are limited but ample for you to sit for a while and a nice sofa corner that could accommodate a nice group. I got a latte and the coffee is good but it's very acidic. I think the grounds they use here is a medium-dark roast and it's not bad, but probably something I don't think I'd get next time. I'm sure the roast might be better but it'll be a while when I'll be back here. The blueberry muffin on the other hand, it's great. I wish it was a bit warmer and perhaps I should have asked about it. It was soft to eat and it filled up my appetite for the time being. I honestly think the sofa area alone is a good spot for instagram photos. It's perfect as it just captures the nice olive green/white décor. Definitely check it out! read more

Cute location. They're expanding to the Starbucks area in spring this year excited to see the combination of food and coffee options. The staff just need a little more training on the proper ingredients and mixture to make the drinks the same all the time. But I think they'll get there quickly. Coffee is strong and tastier than Starbucks. I didn't think I would like it and got sad seeing Starbucks leave. Love a good Ralph's! Decor/setting is very cute - including the former Starbucks stand spot is now seating for Ralph's. Store offers drinks, pastries and some retail items. Always wanted to try out Ralph's Coffee and finally got a chance to. You know what? The hype is real. Friend and I went for JUST HOT VANILLA LATTES, nothing more nothing less, that's it. And it was the best 10 bucks (total for both drinks) we spent. No lie. The coffee is piping hot, bold, strong and aromatic. The vanilla flavoring was perfect. Hey we're not super picky but we both know a solid cup of Joe when we taste one. And these were it. AND LOVED LOVED LOVED the charming vibey interior design and decor of the shop. So cute. So clean, so well maintained (but of course - it's RL!). It's a super small place but there's seating both inside the shop and there's a small sectioned off set-up just outside the shop (see my pics) in the beautiful, open, spacious mall area of Tyson's Galleria (L1 - the space where the old Sbux used to be). We were there around 10AM on a Tuesday which is a GREAT time to enjoy the beautiful, quiet, uncrowded, sunlight filled Galleria. My gosh, I could just hang out there allllllll dayyyyyyyyy. Couple pro tips to share: * We skipped the pastries and baked goods at Ralph's and went 10 steps across the hallway to Paul. There you will find THE BEST daily housemade French pastries, croissants, tarts and baked goods! (Skip the lattes at Paul though - soooo weak and flavorless! Ralph's coffees are where it's at!) Check out my reviews of Paul and my pics of the beautiful, yummy pastries / baked goods. * As much as I love the seating areas inside and out offered at Ralph's, there is (imho) much nicer seating and hang-out options up on L3 (take the elevator, not escalators, up to L3). Soooo much amazing and spaced out comfy seating areas open to the public including beautiful, generously spaced out booths and gathering spots with lots of cozy nooks and crannies - bring your meal, drinks, laptop, book etc - it's like you're in a beautiful, sunlit, grand open space hotel lobby. (GREAT for private business meetings - get to L3 directly from the parking lot via stairs/escalator from main parking lot in front of Saks.) We were there for THREE HOURS sipping lattes, savoring our pastries, engrossed in conversation, enjoying the uncrowded ambiance and just lost track of time! The opulence of the Galleria will do that to you every time lol. RALPH'S IS A WINNER FOR AMAZING LATTES and I can't believe I'm saying this because it's bougie RL but the latte prices were super reasonable and well worth it! (See my menu and pricing pics.) Super unclear with the bad reviews here. I've tried a few coffees from thier lattes to their matcha and I love all of them. They are strong and well made. Everyone who works here is super nice and there is a card you can get with your 10th drink free. I love the ambiance inside and outside. My drink is always made fast. If I'm hungry I'll grab a croissant and it's not your average Costco croissant it's quite delicious. I come here at least once a week and I'm a huge fan. read more

Haven't tried their pastries but their coffee is really good! Really love their Ralph's roast - I'm usually not a fan of acidic coffee, and their roast is exactly to my liking. Super smooth! What I love even more is the price. It's $3!!! I've had much worse coffee for more $$, so the fact that I can get such a smooth, delicious coffee for this amount is a HUGE plus. Husband tried their ice latte and it was really great as well. He usually hates paying for coffee, but stands by Ralph's. Friendly service and cute interior is a plus. I only wish they had more seats available. Don't worry though, it's located inside a mall, so you'll be able to find a plenty of seats elsewhere (tip: lots of chairs in front of Arhaus / RH). read more

The best part of this coffee shop is the great atmosphere and comfortable seating. Each time we've been here, there's been lovely views of the mall and enough seating on the inside of the store even though it's busy. Usually there's about 5-6 people in line, but it moves quickly. Highly recommend the Cappuccino with skim milk - it never misses. The coffee has a great aroma with the perfect texture of milk foam. read more

I have an espresso machine at home. I buy Ralph's beans to make at home. Therefore I am particular about my coffee. This place makes excellent espresso drinks in my opinion. This is not a Starbucks. In fact, it was the first RL coffee shop I was aware of. Looks like they are adding the coffee bar at all their stores. For this recent visit, the Coffee I ordered was strong and aromatic. I also got the croissant almond flavor which was fresh & decadent with chocolate almond creme filling! Well decorated in RL green & white clean aesthetics and seating was smartly arranged to accommodate more patrons. They extended it to the outside of the store and while in an open space, it was intimate and perfect for a coffee break or snack in this high end galleria! read more

I waited in line for approximately fifteen minutes for a $3 cup of brewed drip coffee. Let me tell you that wait was so worth it! This coffee was arguably the smoothest cup of coffee I've ever had in my life and I am not a snobbish person at all. This is the first Ralph's Coffee in Washington, DC area but it is already proving to be a success for the brand as well Tysons Galleria, the mall it currently resides in. The Ralph Lauren store recently moved from the third floor of the mall to the first floor where it emerged from behind the ruins of what used to be Starbucks. The footprint of the coffee shop is small, with only a few bistro tables and a wrapped corner bench. Hopefully, as time goes on, they plan to extend the seating atop of the bones of Starbucks to create a nice "coffee oasis" adorned with the Ralph Lauren aesthetic. The shop also has an internal entryway into the Ralph Lauren store so that shoppers can get their coffee as well as their favorite Ralph Lauren piece all at one time. As for what Ralph's Coffee offers there are special roast, decaf and espresso blends that use coffee beans grown in Central America, South America and Asia. They also offer hot and cold teas, hot chocolate, a variety of baked goods and pastries, soda, water, and yogurt topped with granola. It should be noted that the beans are roasted and packaged by La Colombe, which should be familiar to some DC residents as they have five locations sprinkled throughout the city. Outside of the coffee there is also an array of merchandise offered from hats, to tote bags, and more. The staff at Ralph's is welcoming and friendly. While they are quick, it is not as quick as some Starbucks locations and this is a bit of a downside. Depending on the time of day the line can get pretty long and unfortunately Ralph's does not offer an "order ahead" feature or a mobile app of any kind, something people have become accustomed to. While this may not be something convenient for the employees at the mall, it is a true coffee experience for shoppers. By the way the coffee shop is definitely Instagram worthy! read more

Went here yesterday with a friend after seeing this on some people's social media stories since it's new. Wayyyyy overhyped! Only gave it two stars because of the cute interior and kind service, otherwise the food and drink is not good - only go to take pictures. It's located on the first floor below the magiannos and next to the polo Ralph Lauren store. We went around 11:45 on a Thursday, but it's a couple days before new years so it was busy. Most people came in and out to pick up and leave; there's not a lot of seating but the seats and pillows are velvet and tables are marble with wooden chairs so it's very comfy and cutesy, with seating for about 10-12 people. We were greeted upon entering and the cashier/barista answered a couple questions my friend had about the drinks. The staff was attentive and available, and drinks came out quick but they were not good :(. I got a chai latte and blueberry muffin: the latte was watery and couldn't really taste much, and the muffin was basic and kinda dry. My friend didn't even finish her drink bc she said it was all milk essentially. I wouldn't go back here, it's overhyped and just for aesthetic, unless they dramatically improve food and drink quality. I've never been to the ones in New York so I have nothing to compare to. Do not recommend this location at all. read more

Cute coffee shop located in the center of the Tyson's galleria! As of today, there are still lines out the door. There is some sitting areas by the escalators and inside the shop itself that are nicely decorated. As for the coffee itself, I wouldn't give it a high rating. For the price, it tastes pretty mediocre (something you can get at any other cafes) and feels overhyped. I would still recommend trying it once since it's the first location in DMV but would not come back again unless I was in the middle of shopping. read more
