I recently visited Teas'n You in Vienna for the first time. The 2 employees working were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that they took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations without being pushy. My only concern was the overall condition of the store. There seemed to be quite a bit of wear and tear throughout the space, and some areas felt like they could use a deeper cleaning and updating. The customer service was definitely the highlight of my visit, but improving the appearance and upkeep of the store would make for a much better overall experience. I would return because of the helpful staff and hope to see some improvements in the future.
Teas'n You has a lot of great menu items and I think it all comes down to preference of what kind of drinks you like but they are a solid tea/coffee/food spot in McLean. Horchata Matcha is one of my favorite drinks to get here and I always recommend this drink to a matcha lover. I also recommend the basil popcorn chicken and garlic parmesan fries.
Used to think this place was amazing a long time ago solely for drinks, but I feel as if recently, especially with new additions to menus, the quality of the drinks just hasn't been the same for me personally. Have visited recently a few times and have ordered their coffees and milk teas, but they seem to have less flavour/taste more watery now. The foams don't really add much for me either and aren't that flavourful. Perhaps I will finally try their sweet food options, since I've never really tried them before and they seem to be doing well here.

So I realized it's been over seven years since my first review - I'm happy to report that Teas N' You is still going strong and has expanded their menu! The very tasty popcorn chicken remains on the menu as a favorite, along with Taiwanese chicken sandwiches and tasty fusion pastries (the egg tarts, Portuguese style, are fantastic). Service is quick, friendly and efficient. While we tend to do pick up, the dining area is warm and friendly: a great place to hang out with friends or to study. Great vibes!
Sooo surprised that their matcha latte was too milky and powdery. I was expecting much better since I love their strawberry matcha but I guess the strawberry overpowers it. Their matcha alone was not good. So sad to find that. I got a BOGO and honestly didn't drink the second one.
I can't believe I've been sleeping on Taiwanese chicken sandwiches for this long. I typically have their basil popcorn which is also top tier, so juicy and crispy which is also reflected in their sandwich. This sandwich comes out piping hot and is hands down one of the juiciest yet crispiest chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The sauce paired with the fresh cucumber is so good, the sandwich was literally dripping as I ate it--in the best way possible. You can tell it's made to order, so be prepared to wait a little bit--but it's absolutely worth it. Truly restaurant-quality food. Definitely worth the prices. I've frequented this place over the past year and can confidently say all of their teas are quali-tea as well. This was my first time trying their coffee though, and wow, I was missing out. It was so smooth, not overly sweet, and featured really fun Asian-inspired flavors. The ube was so good that I already plan on coming back later this week to try their pandan flavors. The seating and ambiance are really nice too. There are cute window-side seats perfect for groups of two, as well as tables that work for larger groups. It can get busy at times, and while they do have outdoor seating, it's a bit too cold to enjoy that during the winter. Overall, this spot is high-quality Asian fusion done at its finest. Everything feels thoughtful, well-executed, and consistently delicious. Definitely a go-to from now on.
Great bubble tea and garlic parmesan fries! The menu has expanded over the years with cupcakes, brownies, and croissants! The teas are a bit on the sweeter side and I get them usually at 25% sweetness. The Matcha Rose Tea and Matcha Strawberry Dalgona Tea are perfect at 25% sweetness. I enjoy the milk Ube tea at 50% sweetness. I enjoyed the scrumptious and flavorful Spinach and Feta Croissant. The Ube and Pandan Croissants looked pretty tempting - next time! The Macaroons and Cream Puffs have been replaced with Cupcakes, Donuts, and Tiramisu Brownie. The Brownie was a bit dense and the Pandan Cupcake had a subtle whipped cream with a spongy brioche cake. The Donuts have a nice whipped filling - I enjoyed the Tiramisu, Ube, Pandan, and Cocolove Donuts. The Garlic Parmesan Fries are a must! I love the battered fries with diced garlic, thyme, and parmesan cheese. The combination works well together and really elevates the flavor of the fries. The creamy Basil Pesto is my favorite dipping sauce! While the Sesame sauce doesn't pair that well with the fries, it's the best salad dressing and order a side of it.
I work nearby so I usually come here on my break or after my shift to sit back and drink a Thai Tea. This is my own subjective opinion but this place has a lot of potential. I've mainly surrounded myself around west coast boba tea shops in the heart of chinatowns and so maybe my expectations are high. But I really do enjoy the tea and food here. Every worker that I've interacted with are most especially helpful and kind and the inside is cozy enough for me to sit down a bit and rest my legs after a long shift. If there was one thing I could critique I guess it would be the taste of the popcorn chicken. Maybe I'm too accustomed to the west coast popcorn chicken but the garlic taste here is amazing, but without an ample amount of salt I've found myself relying mainly on the sauce. But overall, I'm happy to be a frequent customer here.
This is a really cute tea. House to get work done. A classic Asian workspace. It's very clean and open area space. That being said, I've never been wowed by their drinks, but I do appreciate that they have a wide variety of different drinks for you to try every single time you're there. They continuously add more items and they might bring back seasonal items as well. They're more of a jack of all trades kind of tea house local boba / specialty drink spot. No one drink really stands out to me and I honestly don't recommend their Matcha because it has too much going on. That being said I haven't tried their supreme matcha, which is very similar in name to Hey Tea's matcha offerings. This time I got their pandan thai tea but the problem is that you can't really taste much of a coconut pandan flavor. To be fair, pandan is more of a sweet flavor than anything, and the drink IS sweet, even at 75%. It's quite pretty and is a cool drink to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I believe that the tiramisu brownie is a staple for them, so I wanted to get that. Again, very sweet, but it is counteracted slightly by the coffee flavor of the dessert. It's quite rich! Overall, the staff is great and they work efficiently. The decor is really nice and it's a perfect place to study and get work done.
Had to stop by and get tea and some treats when I was n the area. Definitely did not disappoint. Hoji latte with pandan cold foam was excellent it had great balance of sweat and richness of the milk with foam. I usually get it iced just by preference. I got two cookies 1 ube and 1 red velvet. They both are excellent but the ube is so tasty sweet and well balanced. It was super soft. The red velvet is really good too. It has a cookie baked into the center. Service It was very busy but servers were really nice. I got through online ordering the time it gives you on the app was pretty inaccurate. It said 40 minutes but I got the update it was ready in 15 mins. Honestly, not big deal just want people to know. Inside it has a great coffee house vibe. It was very busy when I was in there but it was Sunday so probably busier then usual. Cannot wait to go back and try again.
The menu has a lot of creative options beyond your typical boba spot. The drink selection is fun and unique. I love the pistachio milk tea and can't go wrong with ube cream cold brew for a pick me up. Love munching on the garlic parmesan fries and popcorn chicken. The donuts have have whipped filling such as Tiramisu, Ube, and. Pandan. Perfect for catching up with friends or just having a solo tea break. It can get pretty loud during peak times. Decent indoor and outdoor seating.
I love their egg tart and their horchata matcha latte!! I always make a trip out to teas' n you whenever I'm in the VA area.

Okay Tea's'n You, your vibe is very cute, very demure, very mindful, and very tasty! I ended up visiting this location because literally every other matcha shop I wanted to try was closed and wasn't opening until 11:30 a.m. Since my usual spots failed me, I decided to give Tea's'n You a shot. I'm so glad I did. Their matcha is top tier. I ordered two regular matchas with regular sugar, one blueberry matcha with regular sugar, a regular iced coffee, four cupcakes (strawberry shortcake and mango), and a sesame egg tart. Now before y'all start judging me, these were not all for me . My back is getting big, I don't need all that to add to it lol. Everything was packaged securely and presented beautifully. What impressed me even more was the customer service. Orders are placed on a kiosk that sits a little away from the staff, so I honestly didn't think anyone was paying much attention to who ordered what. Imagine my surprise when one of the staff members walked my order directly to me with a kind and friendly smile instead of leaving it in the pickup area. That level of attention is impressive. Do you know how hard it is to make customers feel seen with minimal human interaction? Kudos to the team for pulling that off. Now, while I wanted to give five stars, there was one small miss. The cupcakes were a bit dry, and the mango filling wasn't quite my favorite. However, the sesame egg tart was hitting on every level. My only regret was not buying more of them and somehow convincing someone to hand over the recipe lol. Parking was easy and located right out front. I will definitely be back to try more items. My team loved everything I brought back, so I don't think they're going to let me get away with not bringing them more next time. read more

My co-worker did a group order for boba drinks so I ordered a matcha strawberry boba and it was buy one get 1 free. They also offered a 6 piece pastry box complimentary for purchases of $10 and more. My boba was delicious and the variety of pastries impressed me. I'd be happy to continue ordering from here. read more
I went in for a quick treat & was surprised to find a busy store. They have a bunch of tables for eating/working & a good amount of space inside overall. I ordered the honey chrysanthemum tea w aloe vera & was pleasantly surprised , I would give it a 10/10 it was so good! The service was nice & fast and they have a pretty nice menu. You have to order yourself on a little iPAD but other than that , a 10/10 experience , I will definitely be back to try their matcha & other teas ! read more

Honestlyyyy, pretty damn good. Got a salted chocolate chip cookie and iced Thai Tea. The tea is def not giving mix and while it doesn't taste like exactly like what you'd get at a restaurant, it was good enough and very tasty. But this cookie, though?!? Delicious. Honestly, so good. I wish I'd ordered more. Tastes homemade in a good way. And the price was comparable to Starbucks except the taste was better. Drink + Cookie ordered online was like $11-12, worth it. read more

THE BIG: Located in Tyson's Corner. Boba tea spot that is now venturing into baked goods. Modern chic interior with limited space but just enough to sit down and catch up with friends. Private parking lot available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife and sister to grab a post dinner tea. Haven't been here in quite a while so I was excited to be trying some of their new stuff. We got the pistachio milk tea and lychee lemonade for drinks while the baked goods, we were intrigued by the black sesame egg tart. The drinks were bit sweet even though we asked for little/no sugar. The black sesame egg tart was very interesting and delicious but $5 for a tiny thing like that? We came around 9pm and we didn't get the happy hour special, which was a miss on our end, but usually it's half off after 9pm for drinks. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the damage done here for the items was around $16. More of a sugar bomb than what I remember it to be but otherwise a decent spot to get your boba fix. read more
I love the variety of drinks offered at Teas'n You. They change up some of the drinks with the seasons so you'll never get bored of their selection. I have come here so many times now; it's definitely a go-to spot and is very popular with the locals. Their drinks taste authentic and smooth. It's not powdery like other, lower quality boba places. And if you're in the mood for something more savory, try their basil chicken! read more

If you're a night owl on the weekends like me, check out Teas'n You for their happy hour between 9pm and 1am. They have a good selection of boba to choose from, and amazing pastries to enjoy along side with your boba. I opted for a hojicha latte with crystal boba and herbal jelly this time around. It was super refreshing and not too sweet - the toppings also were perfect with it! It was busy at 10pm but service was relatively fast for the amount of people that were there. If you decide to sit down, the interior is very chill and they offer board games too. Love their aesthetic with the plants and wooden tables. Can't wait to go again and I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet ! read more

Stopped by here because I was craving matcha milk tea (latte) and HeyTea wasn't taking any orders that day. The matcha itself was just okay though it was a bit milky --I asked for less sugar, but it still turned out pretty sweet. On the bright side, my friend got the mango sticky rice drink and said it was delicious and super refreshing. read more
There's definitely a lot of items in Teas'n You that caught my eye! I decided to try something different and got their mango sticky rice drink. For pastries, I had a bolo bao cookie, Ube egg tart, and Ube coconut donut. I would definitely love to try their breakfast menu and their fried chicken if I'm in the area next time! read more

It's been awhile since I've been back to Teas'n You, but there are so many new drinks and food items, so I had to stop by and try. I tried the mango sticky rice drink and it was good, but personally don't think it's worth $9. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese dessert. I got the ube crinkle and red velvet oreo cookie, and really liked the red velvet oreo cookie! The ube tart was unique, but I wouldn't crave it. I ordered online, and it was very easy (plus you earn points through Toast!). The pick up was straight forward. There's an area to pick up and grab your items when it's ready. read more

Great service as always. I tried a new hot boba tea, the Horchata Matcha with 75% of the sweetness. It taste more like matcha than horchata. The Basil Chicken was yummy with medium spiciness. The garlicky fries had good flavor. The environment and ambiance is cool and relaxing. Nice place to come and hang out. They're open from 11am til 1am. read more

Is this a good place to remote work?
They have a small little dining area with some tables. If you have to be on Zoom or need a quiet area it's probably not best for that. Just sitting on your laptop for an hour or two, yeah it'd be fine.

Nope, they said it's temporarily unavailable due to being "out of season" I believe it will return later in the year. If anything try the caramel macchiatea w/ grass jelly, taste almost similar
