It's got this cozy yet futuristic, almost spaceship or submarine feel with dim, cool lighting. When there's foot traffic or events nearby, the energy is super high and fun. Drinks: Sea Salt Coffee OG is bold and intense in a good way, about a 4 out of 5. Great if you like strong coffee flavors. The inside of this place is beautiful, although small with usually a singular barista operating it, it does get busy around when schools out. Even then, the barista still makes the drinks faster than you would expect. Both were 25% sugar which I thought would mean not too sweet (which is what I wanted) but I definitely should have went with 10%. Both drinks were extremely sweet for my liking and the overall taste was not very good either. The honey boba (pearls) itself was also too sweet, it was weird to me that there was no option for plain/regular boba. When I arrived I was told to order at the single kiosk in the store. I wanted to ask about the different options for drink customization but the worker just disappeared into the kitchen unfortunately so I just ordered. The place itself was nothing special, a small little bar area with stools for about like five people to face the wall while they drink. More of a pick up and go kinda place. I must be getting old, since I remember when this compact shopping mall along busy Maple Ave (aka Rt. 123) was for years referred to as the "Magruder's shopping center," when that now defunct grocery chain was the main draw for folks in Vienna. I was in the area and a friend suggested we stop by the TeaDM Mini for a post holiday get together treat. TBH, since boba drinks are nowadays a once or twice a month indulgence, I didn't even know this diminutive shop existed before last weekend. I've visited some of the other TeaDMs locations, most notably their outpost at the Eden Center, and as the name implies, this place is "mini" sized. Walking in, to the left is the bar where all of the drinks are prepared, to the right is a small counter with about 8 chairs for seating, and that's about it. If there are more than 10 people inside, the interior would be "crowded." I appreciate all of the Asian inspired design choices; from the Japanese Style manga photos on the wall, to the figurines and other tchotchkes which line the bar and counters. I ordered my usual drink of Jasmine Milk tea, 50% sweetness, light ice, with coffee Jelly. The tea flavor was nice and strong, and did not have that off putting "made from powder" flavor, since the beverage base was definitely brewed. I should've asked for 25% sweetness, since the drink was still a bit too sweet, but the semi-bitter but flavorful coffee jelly pieces provided a necessary contrast. This is more of a take out place, but there is also two benches outside where people can sit and enjoy their drinks in the warmer months. read more

I have gone to this TeaDM Mini location a few times now and have consistently had a positive experience. This location shares several parking lot areas with multiple retailers. It is pretty small inside and is meant as more of a quick takeout spot. If you are familiar with TeaDM, this location has a consolidated version of their full menu so make sure to check ahead of time that your drink is available here before making the trip. TeaDM has a buy four get one free special that gets me every time haha... I have tried alot of their menu items, but my favorites so far have been: Green Thai Milk Tea, Mango Milk Tea and Seasalt Coffee RTD. I really like that the ice here is smaller and crushed so it won't leave your drink super watery or diluting the flavor as it melts. The staff are always friendly and polite and drinks come out in a reasonable amount of time while remaining accurate. I will definitely be back again soon to continue trying more menu items :) read more

I ordered a OG seasalt coffee, regular ice, 25% sweetness with crystal boba and coffee jelly. The coffee tasted like 125% sweetness, not 25%. Also, I had a free drink ($8 value) but they told me they changed the system last week. So now is just $6 value. If the customer has the $8 value free drink before you change your system, you should give them what they should get. Not just said like that and the service was not too good. read more

After trying Molly Tea in LA / other authentic boba places from china, I can never go back to an Americanized bubble tea place. Inside it is very small, and has no seating area, but we were ordering to go so it was not an issue. Additionally, the price was good- 5 drinks (buy 4 get 1 free) were about 27$ with tax. The taro milk tea balanced sweetness and freshness from the lychee jelly I added. It was soft, and the flavor of it all was really good. The place is quite small but has really great service. Drinks come out super quickly. Ambience is cute and they always have Pokemon or Anime chalk drawings outside and on the walls. My personal go-to is strawberry milk tea with boba and seasalt cream. Tried this place on a whim and their Green Thai tea was delicious! We got 75% sugar and it was the right amount of sweetness, with less ice. The Green Thai flavor is different from the traditional one, but worth a try! As for the service... so when the bobarista finished with our order, she just left it on the counter and didn't even call out our order number or the drink. With COVID-19 going around, I didn't want to assume and also touch a drink that wasn't mine. After some confusion, we asked her if that was our drink and she said yes. I was still confused because we had ordered a regular size and this drink was too large. She then said that they had only two sizes - small and large. For someone who's never been to this location before, I wish the cashier had clarified at the counter before my order was completed because I wanted a regular small size and ended up getting a large. My favorites are the sea salt matcha green tea and sea salt butterfly blue tea when I don't want caffeine. The rose milk tea is another favorite selection. Small but super clean and with a diverse yet clear menu. What I liked about their menu is they actually recommend the type of toppings for their drinks - I find that very helpful for people who aren't as familiar with bubble tea. The employees were also very friendly and helpful. I've tried the Green Iceland and Sea Salt Coffee thus far. The Green Iceland was refreshing and delicious. I was so impressed by this little shop. I felt bad because we rolled in with our bikes around 20 minutes before closing but no one complained and they were really nice and happy to get business.
