The owner was super nice? He said hi and all. They never explained how the breakfast sandwiches was in the warmer next to the cashier. My friend waited 5 minutes until figuring out. Even though it was in the warmer his bacon sandwich was room temperature? I got a mocha and it really didnt taste like anything. Same goes for my 16 dollar chorizo- it really needed more salt and pepper and sauce for you to taste anything. I think the potatoes really dulled the flavor. Finding this spot was completely accidental but I'm so glad I did. I really liked the chill vibe and the customer service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, even the other customers. The shop was spacious and bright but the parking lot right out front was small. I ordered the Rise Up Breakfast Burrito and a strawberry mango smoothie. The smoothie was delicious and the burrito was tasty too. It came with two choices of sauce which added a nice flavor to the burrito. I would definitely go back to try other items, especially their coffee. read more

I ordered breakfast and a cold brew through cashapp, but they never came. After about 30 minutes, I asked if they were still working on them and was told their machine wasn't reliably printing. I showed her my receipt that I ordered both food and a drink, and she re-printed the drink. I sat back down and waited another 15-20 minutes before I decided just to leave. It sucks that I didn't get my coffee or food, but I am especially annoyed I tipped them through the app too. read more

I love the Rise Up location in Edgewater! Yes I've been to the Annapolis location but the customer service is soooo much better in Edgewater. The establishment is always extremely clean and the food and drinks are top notch. Just love everything about this place. Especially the fact that they have some BOMB vegan and veggie breakfast wraps and the house made hot sauce they serve with the wraps is AMAZING! They also serve a green sauce too for those not into heat. oh yes, they have pork and turkey meat selections too. So something for everyone and grab a donut while you're there too. read more

I am here almost everyday I love the coffee and the food but the last 3 times I have been in this location the staff takes forever to make my coffee and they are chatting with people at the bar (it appears to be one of their BFs) instead of making drinks and they look like they are in their Pajamas just hanging out. Quietly they have become my favorite coffee shop. The online ordering is so efficient that my order is often ready before I arrive. It's worth every minute of the 20 minute drive and it's just not for the coffee...not sure if every Rise Up Coffee has a breakfast by Mad Eggs but this one sure does and the food is pretty amazing. At first I started off with the avocado toast and I thought ...hmmm no one can really mess up avocado toast...well they exceeded that with fresh Pico and an amazing presentation...I thought maybe it was beginners luck until I tried the scrapple egg and cheese on a biscuit...it was cooked to perfection. Scrapple is hard to cook and an acquired taste...well they have it down. My coffee tolerance is pretty high now so I typically just do espresso shots and slight flavor and cream combo and each and every time the gentlemen gets it right with the perfect blend. Plenty of COVID measures in place, outdoor tables and a clean bathroom to wash your hands. They do an amazing job and getting you in and out. read more

OMG where to begin this place was exactly what I look for in a coffee shop. Everything was homemade the coffee was amazing and they had a huge selection of hot sauces and all of them are different and better in different ways. The service was not the best it was a bit long and not allot of people there. The ambiance was fine it did not have the cafe vibes. I always enjoy Rise Up. Pretty nice staff and the place was strangely enough, not busy at the time I went through (Monday 8:15 am). So I liked that! I just ordered a decaf cortado with oatmilk that was pretty good, although I feel caffeinated, maybe it's cause I got two decaf shots. The service was nice from the moment we stepped in. The environment is comfortable and has all the condiments you need out on the bar. The parking here can be tight, but if you are patient it works. There was also some beautiful pots of plants out front (you can park in back too) and they had cotton in it and my son thought it was super cool. I wish I had had time for breakfast, but I am happy I dropped in for my cortado. Thank you, I will be back! read more

This place is busy but so good! We stopped in late Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast. Things were a little bit hectic but the staff was very friendly. I absolutely loved the specialty latte I got. Our sandwiches ended up taking probably close to 20 minutes to come out but were incredible (the biscuit they come on is just flawless). I mention the wait not as a complaint (again, the place was busy!) but just so other people know to either go with one of the ready-made options or think of it as more like sit-down service than a typical coffee bar. I spent 10 days in the Annapolis area, visiting a different coffee shop each day, looking for the best blended iced coffee this Alaskan Coffee Snob could find. While none of the coffee shops have a fraction of the flavors offered in AK, (esp. sugar free ones-SF coconut is by FAR the best...catch up people!), this shop did a nice job of not watering down the coffee with the oat milk and SF vanilla I ordered. Even the other Rise Up locations didn't compare to this one in quality. The baristas were friendly and gave me a suggestion to consider for myself- become a traveling coffee critic. I love this place! Covid has really put a damper on hanging out at a cool coffee shop, but don't let that dissuade you from stopping by Rise Up for a great cup of coffee. The staff are all prepared to serve with masks and gloves and the place itself is very clean. My personal favorite during these hot summer days is a simple iced latte with oat milk. Five stars!! I devoured the croissant before I could take a picture of it sorry, but omg it was so good. Light and fluffy and subtly sweet on the outside. Not dry or burnt, very pleased with it. I scalded my tongue on the coffee cause I was excited to try it but it's really good! I ordered an almond milk latte and the foam on it was really nice, which you don't often see because almond milk is annoying to foam so thank you for doing it properly! Really cute place with lots of seating and free WiFi so all you hipsters can come here and do work if you want. The place seems to be filled with regulars so that's cool too. read more

Best coffee in Edgewater/Annapolis area. The coffee is local and roasted by locals. I usually get their Latte and they have variety of flavors that you can add. They also have really good smoothies and açaí bowls. Basically anything and everything you get there is great. Only thing is I wish they were a little bit cheaper. Prices are about the same as at Starbucks but way better flavor ! read more

Great little spot! Was passing through and in need of coffee and a quick breakfast, and this place was perfect. Clean, friendly staff, nice menu. For bagels, they only had Everything bagels, so my only suggestion would be to add a plain bagel (or more) to the menu. But the food was delish, as were the smoothies.
