I need to start this with I'm not vegan. I try to get on board with it and just can't. I like real milks and my pastries with butter and eggs. Now that that's out of the way, the strawberry shortcake roll was the best vegan dessert I think I've ever had. It was more than edible, it was good. Next to a non-vegan baked good, I'd choose the non-vegan option, but this was incredible for what it was. That alone, I'd give it a vegan 5 star review. The coffee... I wanted to give it a 5 star for being different, but the coffee lemonade was disgusting. I had to throw it out. The ginger beer coffee was better, but still not something I'd order again. The espresso was quality, but I'd definitely order a regular coffee order. I won't be returning, but I would definitely live there if I was vegan and needed a treat!

Loved their iced vanilla latte! The service was quick and I loved how they had outdoor seating. I got two pastries cinnamon roll and a pepperoni roll. I really liked the pepperoni roll, which was sweet and savory, just wish it was warmer though! Pretty solid place would stop here again

This spot was a vibe!!! Service was great and the food was spot on. I went with a cherry strudel, a vegan BLT, and cold brew coffee. This spot is a must try!!!

I was on my way to another coffee shop in Savage Mill when I noticed a young woman working on her MacBook at a nearby table. Curious, I looked up and saw the sign: "Brewing Good Coffee Co." I decided to step inside--and I'm so glad I did. This place is really something special. The coffee? Absolutely delicious. I also tried their avocado toast, which was fresh and flavorful. Since I arrived early, I found parking easily on the main road, but there's also convenient parking in the Savage Mill retail lot--you can just walk down the stairs from there. The vibe is warm and welcoming. Friendly, positive customer service, beautiful decor with lots of plants, and even an LGBTQ+ flag by the register--it all adds up to a space that just makes you feel good. The only downside was that the avocado toast portion was on the smaller side. But honestly, that's a small detail in an otherwise perfect experience. 5/5--can't wait to come back!

I loved this coffee shop so much! It is a vegan coffee shop and their seasonal latte options all sound amazing! I got the pb fluffernutter latte which was delicious. They also accommodate food allergies!

Great coffee served in mugs made from recycled coffee plant products. Inside and outside seats with a separate seating/play area.

I split the zip code series north completing northwest; now continuing northeast toward Baltimore, 2 zip codes away from home is Savage 20763. I went here one time in November 2023 with a Vegan Meetup. I'll be honest, I'm not Vegan, but good to eat Vegan sometimes as it is a healthy way to go. Brewing Good Coffee is a Vegan bakery. I got a breakfast sandwich, which one of the members of the Meetup recommended, and he was right! That sandwich was delicious. It was an English muffin with egg, cheese (Vegan version), & meat substitute. Coffee I got was delicious too. Staff was nice and efficiently made the food/drinks for a large group. Seating is kind of limited. They have some seating next door with books, but almost all that seating was taken. They also have a fair amount of outside seating. In spite of being November 19, it was Sunny day & temps were above average, 50's in late morning warming rapidly to the 60's. Overall, this was a great place that I'd return to if I was over here looking for a breakfast/brunch option.

Cute space. The cafe is small but nice and they have a separate room for seating. I ordered a flat white with oat milk and a grilled cheese. It was super cold that day so this was a nice combo. For the grilled cheese they use Dave's Killer Bread. The staff were friendly. I also purchased a 12oz bag of their Bright-Eyed & Bushy-Tailed medium roast whole beans. I've been enjoying it so far. The price is a bit expensive $18, but it goes towards a good cause in saving animals.

This is my absolute favorite place for breakfast. I drive in from Montgomery County for this all vegan coffee shop. Every bite I take of their food tastes like vegan heaven. They are constantly changing up their baked goods which makes me come back regularly to try the new specials. Brewing Good has a good amount of outdoor seating and an indoor space perfect for bringing your laptop and hanging with friends. For savory food they have a couple of breakfast options and a couple of lunch sandwiches. They have a lot of sweets to pick from although on the weekends they sell out so come early! My favorite sandwich is their croissant breakfast sandwich. It has a flaky croissant as the bread, some arugula and veggies for lightness, and vegan ham. I wish I could eat this every morning. It looked beautiful and tasted upscale. For desserts you cannot go wrong with anything baked in-house. They also have desserts from other vendors like Vegan Treats. Those I do not like as much as what Brewing Good makes. I would ask an employee to make sure you are getting their in-house made goods and I guarantee you will love it! Brewing Good may be pricy but I have never regretted a purchase. It is so hard to find this level of quality and creativity in the vegan food scene. Their pricing seems justifiable and I love knowing that 10% of my purchase goes to helping animals. This vegan business is vegan owned and always looking out for the animals. Thanks Brewing Good for existing and I look forward to more visits!

I truly want to love this place but I've learned some tough lessons--or maybe my bank account has? The chai tea here is not sweetened and adding espresso and a sweetener gets you a whopping $10 tea. Seriously? WTF. No. Never again. It is straight ginger tasting and NOT worth an Alexander Hamilton. The espresso tonic on the other hand is tasty. This is worth ordering. The menu is quite small and expensive but a portion of their profits go to animal welfare. That's where they get me. Every d*** time.

A great vegan coffee shop and cafe. They make their own excellent baked goods but also bring in great donuts from Donut Run and Vegan Treats.

Outstandingly great coffee! Note that their default 'milk' is oat milk, but that only enhances the coffee.

Not bad if you need vegan options. Not great if you don't. Service was good. Nice location, weird smell near the steps entering the shop.

Ask the Community - Brewing Good Coffee Company

Are the listed hours correct? If so, why do you open so late in the day?

Yes , our listed hours are correct. Our Savage, MD location is also where our coffee roastery is located and we are in production most days! Often that means before we open at 10.

Are there any possibilities of cross contamination (of the baked goods) with dairy products ? Allergen concern

Hi, Nilay! Thanks for asking! We’re a vegan company and only buy baked goods from vegan bakeries/bakers. There is no possibility of cross contamination with dairy. - Karla

I saw the video and knew it was going to have phenomenal pour overs and espresso drinks. Since the cafe only opens on Saturdays from 8-1, I knew I had to make an effort to stop by despite the 30+ minute drive. Unfortunately, many other people had the same exact idea as me, and the staff was definitely overwhelmed by the popularity. There was a long wait for espresso drinks (at least 30 minutes). All bags of beans were sold out (I'd recommend ordering online and picking up or getting it delivered in the future). POUR OVER / DRIP - 5.35 By the time I ordered, they were out of most pour over options so I tried the Costa Rica Cumbres del Poas since I wanted a fruitier coffee. Fortunately, the wait for pour overs was pretty short, about 10 minutes. The flavors were fruity, but not overwhelmingly so, with a lighter mouthfeel. The pour over was a bit more diluted than I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it greatly. CORTADO - 4 After a 45 minute wait, I finally got my cortado. This has got to be one of the best cortados I've had in the DMV. The espresso was bright and fruity and paired well with the steamed whole milk. It was definitely worth the wait! If Nagadi was closer, I can see myself going 1-2x a month. I'd highly recommend this coffee roaster to any coffee snob looking for high quality coffee in the area.

During my most recent visit, it was the Bangkok that caught my eye. This drink, which was vegan as is, featured Vegan Condensed Milk, Espresso, Oat Milk and Nutmeg. The ambiance of Vent is pretty interesting as one side of its warehouse inside is a cafe with bar, table and bench seating and the other is the roastery. I also felt the matcha wasn't ceremonial grade. It had that weird Starbucks fishy taste to it. We ordered breakfast as well- the breakfast indeed tasted homemade but not the kind that wowed me.
