Cafe seems to be closed permanently as of December 2023. I went by today (Saturday, Jan. 6) and there was a sign explaining that it would no longer be open.

Master man here at work! Using the ChemEx process - seriously amazing coffee...

Yes!!! I am digging this spot. Definitely a local to Southern California and can get all the "boujee coffee", but Eduardo and the team at Mayorga really hold their values true to their product. I learned about their organic Chia seeds, to their goal for more sustainability with farmers and agriculture. The variety of coffee will blow you away, definitely grab a bag to take home while you enjoy an amazing experience with quality coffee. Secret organic coffee spot!! EDIT: London was also fantastic assistance!

Mayorga is an awesome international, female-ran business here in Maryland. You can find their fresh-ground coffee beans at Costco and we just so happened to drive past this warehouse while in Rockville. While their coffee shop is not open all the time, I highly recommend getting in here while they are open. It's a very unique coffee shop, in that you can see inside the warehouse and the coffee bean process through the glass window that reflects inward. They offer great discounts like first-timers and servicemen and women. There are several seating options that allow groups that are big and small to take advantage of. They have a limited menu option, which makes deciding which tasty drink you'll choose that much easier. Come support this business!

    Cafe Cubano is amazing!

Seriously, I cannot get enough of this place! Their Café Cubano is amazing! When I'm brewing it in my office people come by asking what it is. This place is a small local business that does amazing work. BUT...that's not the best part...the people who work there are AMAZING! You can tell when someone loves their job and these people do. I have had the most amazing and fascinating conversations with people who work here. Honestly, these people love coffee, coffee beans, roasting coffee, brewing coffee, and all the minutia that go along with all of it. I had a cup of coffee prepared for me there last week that I can say, hands down, was the best cup of coffee I have ever consumed. Watching the guy make it was mesmerizing (pour - wait - pour - wait - wait - pour). He also introduced me to cold brew coffee. Holy smokes - yum! This is the only coffee place for me. Try it out, I'm sure you'll agree.

I have been wanting to come here for quite a while now, and finally got to go! The barista was very sweet and warmly greeted me, I asked her for a recommendation and she gave a good recommendation, although I do wish she had asked for what size coffee I wanted, and ended up getting a small one, but no harm done. The coffee was good quite strong for how I normally like it but over all the place was nice good quality coffee and service! Will deff be back with friends!

    The dreamy, creamy espresso!

Absolutely my favorite place to grab a cup of feel-so-good café! Martin Mayorga is doing well by doing good, and you know he's on the right track when you meet some of the employees and share in the fun that they're having while at work. The pour over limited-edition Winter Brew was dark and delicious and I had to sample their espresso as well - it was perfectly robust and balanced. I am no coffee connoisseur but I know what I like and man this stuff is good. I will be back soon for sure and I'm proud to leave with not only a big bag of the good stuff (roasted beans!) but also a spill proof travel mug bearing the Mayorga logo.

    They use the good stuff.

This place is a dream. Throwback to the time when small businesses could be passionate about the products and experience that they offer. All coffees are either pourovers, Chemex, or espresso. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, the coffee is amazing. Try the Guatemalan or Yirgacheffe!

This has everything you would ever want in a coffee shop, and it has the factory/warehouse right on site. They brew coffee three different ways, the V60 pour over method, the Chemex method, or French Press. The V60 is cheaper, Chemex most expensive. They also offer espresso and cold brew coffee, but the cold brew is not nitrogen based. That's because the coffee is organic. The baristas are conversational and more than happy to explain the various methods and styles of coffee, all of the beans come from Latin America. They now sell bags of beans you can bag yourself for $7 per pound. Great local business, they do roadshows at various Costco and Whole Foods markets throughout the region.

Latte with beans that were prepared the previous day! So good

I've been buying this coffee from Costco for a long time and had no idea the factory was in Rockville! My boss took me here for some coffee and I really enjoyed the layout, the people, and obviously the coffee. Plus they are all about sustainable farming and supporting poor farming communities

Cute, minimalistic, and cozy cafe! It's at the Bethesda metro station, two escalator trips right…read moreabove the station underground. The lattes here are sweeter than savory but delicious, topped with thick whipped cream... I think it is homemade whipped cream, but whatever they do, they definitely aced it very well. - Habibi latte: very scrumptious! It is a must-get, although it's a seasonal drink, so it may not always be available...alas! Pretty sweet and almost like eating some Dubai chocolate as you drink it... worth the adventure! - The Bear Necessities: I was very impressed with this latte. I had low expectations, as most cafes can't perfect the dark art of latte for every latte drink on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks... But girl, I was proven wrong and I enjoyed this drink so much! It came with thick whipped cream topped with one graham cracker bear and crumbled graham crackers... The flavors were cinnamon and honey and reminded me of cinnamon crunch cereal in some ways, but of course, it wasn't too sweet though! I was tempted to order another one... The sandwiches (1 roast beef and 1 grilled turkey) were just average if you ask me to compare these with other sandwich specialty shops... next time, I'd try something else! Overall, no complaints as I'm impressed with the coffee options, especially the seasonal drinks! Service was good and quick. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and very accommodating to ensure she got our orders right. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning which was surprising. Lots of seating at the outdoor patio as well! Very spacious.

5 stars for coffee, 4 stars for food. This cafe is conveniently located at the Bethesda metro…read morestation, on ground level right above the metro gates. Great for a post-(long) run meal before I hop on the metro back to DC! The lattes are on the sweet side but delicious, thick, creamy, and very innovative--worth it. The food? Not so much, but still decent. I tried the following: - Habibi latte (hot with oat milk) - delicious!! Definitely a must-get. It was quite sweet but really reminded me of Dubai chocolate. Really amazing how they nailed down the flavors. Perfect for chocolate lovers and very unique and innovative. Presentation was also excellent, with a generous amount of whipped cream. - The bear necessities - equally delicious latte and really cute presentation too, with a graham bear cracker on top! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon-flavored drinks, but this one was more subtle. It was so thick and richly flavored that the cinnamon wasn't overpowering for me. I was very impressed. - Roast beef sandwich - meh okay. It was supposed to come with ciabatta bread (which I think would've tasted way better), but apparently, there was none that day, so I got it with sourdough bread. - Turkey sandwich - I got it served hot with sourdough bread, and my partner and I enjoyed this one more than the roast beef sandwich. The roasted red peppers were a nice addition to the sandwich. The accompanying salad with the sandwiches was fine, nothing special. Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning, and the outdoor patio was cute and spacious.
